Looking at the clouds and how they simply glow on a sunny day is. Something that very much resonates with me.
It is an astounding beauty, truly, that delights me to bear witness upon.
#king's decree#Hawaii is a very saturated state. How red the dirt is; llush green grass. It was lovely when we first arrived.#even the petals strewn about are beautiful. soft pink and white beauties scattered in the sun-stricken blades of grass.

"If I could simply convince myself I do not need so much paper, maybe I could be more content with myself" - thought by me as we take a couple more sheets of paper to put in our current-working creative folder. With the intent to write on it, though the content is unclear.
#king's decree#These were idle thoughts that were commentary to a visualization/rumination about how we put so much extra blank paper to carry around w/ us#It does eventually all get used but for a long time there is just a constant reliable supply of paper there at the ready. But we are trying#to limit how much we use regularly; trying to fight the need for all writing and notes and doodles to be perfectly lain out on the paper.

I very much enjoy this sheep that we obtained around Easter <3
It is very cute, small, and even though it has Christian themes/imagery (a cross on one of its hooves), it adds to the charm.
Plus, it reminds me of my darling (and they are indeed the one who brought it home, naturally). I take the small pleasure of letting it sit in my lap and petting it. 💙💛
#king's decree#I think of how this blog is technically now shared. I suppose I don't mind it all that much. The only inconvenience is the tagging system#It would need to be updated for the 'new' arrival

I do not know who was last present—naturally, as we have not been capable of a stable identity for quite some time, and even as it is myself, it is not stable—but I cannot find the plastic spoons we bought. It is so inconvenient to have forgetting disorders.

The family from the collection of 1890s letters I'm transcribing has a donkey that is exclusively referred to as "the donka" (always underlined) and I can't not read it in Eddie Murphy's voice.

Hello. I'm coming to this blog in a blurry, fuzzy, hazy state. I'm sure it's not helped by what took place a while ago.
I'm. Gabriel. Or at the very least am claiming that to be my identity, atleast at one point.
We do not use this blog often. This is, ironically, owned by an alter that is not a frequent fronter anymore. And I am far and above even LESS of a fronter. I have been recorded at most about three times for fronting? And my first known appearance had been when Quill wasn't doing well. I did a very poor job aiding them. But it is not my job. Though, I say that not knowing what my job would be.
Here to state that we are deciding officially to have a shared sideblog among some alters. Midas will still remain the primary owner of this blog. But I will also be here. Assuming I am not wrong.
#Heaven Sent Regards#It's strange to hear our thoughts; to be able to distinguish things as thhough they come from varying sources#And yet. Sometimes. I wonder if some desires are shared among differing alters. It's never really as cut and dry as you'd like.#As I think about writing; I wonder if it is Midas or Mania's desire in order to ward off boredom.#<- I had to rewrite this because I accidentally deleted it -_-#But it is still very difficult to differentiate full and proper. I think we just… need to be able to fully acknowledge and understand how we#are individually capable of differing feelings and opinions and viewpoints#We may have our associations. Things that could trigger us. But that doesn't mean individual alters can't want something that another is#associated with. And that makes it so very difficult to tell.

In April 1898, with the Spanish-American War looming, Jack wrote to his mom from Yale (in his usual indecipherable chicken scratch), to update her on the local war news and rumors.

"There is a kid or two up here with a new Extra of the Journal & lots of new fictitious news every five minutes. They have bought a lot of extra large type for the occasion."
I knew the Spanish-American War saw newspapers (particularly the yellow press) use some of the first ever banner headlines - but wanted to see just how big the Journal's "extra large type" was in this particular instance.
First to compare to some less yellow journalism - here is the front page of the April 25, 1898 edition of the New York Tribune (which is a pretty good example of what most newspaper formats looked like at the time)...

And here is the Journal for the same day...

In regards to the clothing we have; I do think that I could like the coat. I just do not think that I am wearing a proper outfit with it, so I will have to do that another time. I will say however one of the articles we bought may need to be given away, or perhaps sold. It is not just that I do not prefer it; it is that it does not appear to suit our body that well.
I have also brushed my hair to the other side, for comfort reasons.
Unrelated, but Clover (a kitten that the family owns) is napping on our pants. Inconvenient, as those are necessary for work, and need washing anyways

Oh
I must admit, the outfit we have on feels quite… gaudy.
OH! I forget as well, but I had also been gifted something to wear? Or at least, I had been in mind.

Oh how bothersome it is to know I cannot speak how I do amongst our friend group.
Because I was so very close to saying we, us, and our at different points in the same sentence. It is so tedious to rethink my words like this to be cautious.
Anyhow what it was about is that I should probably read the sad bastard's cookbook, because we do have it available on our phone to read.
Maybe if I have it open and leave one of the recipes out, if we ever switch or feel different, we will see and recognize what is out and that the intent was to get food. Then again… even then we may not have the energy or mental fortitude/willpower to do so…
