Slowllyy figuring out Bear's design, the only thing I really changed was his eyes. I have a headcanon that saarebas have black sclera :3 Mostly bc now that I'm deeper into DA, I've been noticing inconsistencies with the Qunari design wise... Mayhaps I'll share ideas/general headcanons for them soon...

His name is Moss and he's a knight who did bad things while he was alive and was cursed by the faeries after his death. Now he's a servant of the fey who uses his fighting skills to protect the weak magical creatures of the woods 🌿

He likes to sit on rocks for a long time and walk slowly around the forest dragging his weapon on the ground. Most birds think that he's some kind of statue and of course he's a nicer person now 🌱

Hello Clown! I technically have two questions because I forgot to ask the first one when the ask box was open earlier!

1. Do you have any tips on drawing the puppets? I’ve been trying to figure out how to draw them but I’ve been struggling! :o[

2. I’m sorry if this one is an odd question, but would Julie or Frank ever like dressing in something outside of typical “gender norms” (for lack of a better term)? I’m just curious because Julie is genderfluid and Frank is nonbinary, so I wasn’t sure!

For the question regarding how to draw puppets, I made a little idea picture for you! Lots of the advice on here is regarding different features of the face and some on the body. Id say these are the biggest details you can add to a characters to make it look more puppety! Lots of these “rules” are more-so suggestions, you can do anything with puppets! Get creative!

Okay I JUST realized I never posted these on here—- BUT BASICALLY, about a year and a half ago I started doing these experimental black hairstyle posts that were threads long on Twitter, to give artists a source of inspo for their black ocs whose hair they wanted to try something new with! There’s more to black hair than just the selected styles portrayed in media, and I thought it would be fun to show people how much texture, shape, fades, length, and style can be combined when drawing black hair—-cause it’s a kind of manipulation our hair can do irl! The OG thread from when I made these a year ago were lost with the hacking of my original Twitter account (@/bagels_donuts) but I’ve since reuploaded the whole thread to my new Twitter (@/ItsDonutsFR)! Dragon Age AU!

As per usual with my hyperfixations Ryder gets another AU design <3 !! These were my ideas for a Inquisition/Veilguard AU :D I just finished da:i so I'm pretty exited to play Veilguard... I'll update my Inquisitors design soon too now that I have a better idea of his personality :D
