I love extrapolating unintended lore from a video game's text. Yes, yes, it's probably a translation convention for the player because characters aren't actually speaking English in-universe, or something like that, but that's no fun. You know what's fun? Because I am unfathomably lost in the sauce of Ryōshū speculation, now that The Unsevering is officially on the horizon, I've been batting around the idea of Ryōshū as a prospective Pinky member before The Incident™, which in turn led to "oh it would be fun if there was a scene where Ryōshū gives a pinky promise to her kid before talking about Pinky shit with some syndicate", which in turn led to "oh wait what is the pinky called in Korean again"

Now, I'm not saying with any confidence that you have to read anything into the mere possibility that a single Korean word could readily take on three very different meanings for a character who we know for certain is

notably foulmouthed,

heavily associated with multiple Fingers, and

has a relationship that is described as parental in nature,
