oh~ Eiichi love is so rare. You’ll have to forgive me since I’m still getting the hang of writing Heavens, but I’ll do my best!

Perhaps you had overestimated the nearness of spring when you’d left the house without an extra jacket this morning. Now the sun had been obscured by some pale, lingering-winter clouds with a faint mist drizzling around you and making your hair limp and frizzy. The chill that’s been settling into your skin over the last few minutes makes you bite your lip and you absently rub at your arms. 

As if he’s fully tuned to your wavelength, Eiichi glances down at you without even needing to hear you mention anything is the matter. His eyes are perceptive as he looks you over in a handful of moments before smirking. He huffs a small laugh and slows his pace, casually resting one hand on your opposite shoulder to guide you down a smaller side street with fewer prying eyes. His hand is large and warm; the arm across your shoulders is heavy and commanding, but not controlling. 

“I take it you didn’t pay mind to the forecast this morning?” He asks. His voice is gentle and low, but always… always it’s laced with that characteristic lilt that sounds like laughter. It makes you want to fight him a little… and it makes your heart race, though you don’t want to admit it yet. You jut your chin out, looking away at the pavement and lifting your brows slightly as you explain you had some stuff to take care of before school so you hadn’t had time to listen. He chuckles at that, a rich, velvety sound, and nods. It takes you a moment to notice the way his eyes pull up at the corners with his smile. Your heart skips a beat, knowing that this particular laugh is particularly genuine. 

You watch as he carefully works the buttons on the front of his coat loose. It’s a luxurious pea coat, deep blue and very warm looking. When the two sides fall away from his chest, he lifts his hand, beckoning you. 

“Let’s share my coat since you’re so cold,” he says simply. You don’t respond right away, too surprised and suddenly overcome with the heart-racing feeling from before. He peers at you and his eyes sparkle with something cheeky; he laughs again. “Come now… Your face says it all.” He lightly rests his hand on your arm. “You’ll freeze if you don’t… I can’t abide you suffering for the sake of pride. Come.” The tug is gentle, but you react as if you’ve been dragged against his chest. He laughs warmly and wraps the two sides so his coat around you, hugging you to him snugly. Luckily, your face is buried in his chest, so he can’t see your face as it burns red. You ask if this is what he planned all along from the moment he dragged you into the alley, but he only rests his chin on your head and sighs good-naturedly. 

“Your willful nature is incredibly good… but don’t be silly… and just let me take care of this.”

As his voice trails off, you realize his heart is racing too.

he’ll often sit right next to you while you’re showing him some of your music scores and press his cheek right up against yours when he doesn’t have his glasses on

no of course he didn’t do it intentionally

you’re a terrible liar, Eiichi

but his snuggles get crazy at night

he’s a big spoon throughand through, so he’s often just enveloping you all the time

you don’t mind in the slightest

he also really loves carrying you?

like, if you’re sitting on the couch and he wants to snuggle he’ll often just lift you up and hold you against him

he likes peppering your face with soft kisses, on your forehead, cheeks, nose, eyelids, everywhere

he’s a big ol’ softie

Kira:

he’s kinda reserved about hugs in the beginning, honestly

but give him a week or so and you guys run to tackle the other with a hug

Kira is that iconic boyfriend who lifts you up into the air, spins you around, and crushes you with a hug that shows that you mean the world to him

he’s a hugger through and through

he also likes dropping his head onto yours just to increase the physical contact he has with you because he loves you so much

he’s actually the perfect boyfriend

he’ll often carry you to the bed and just hold you tight until you fall asleep

“Goodnight, my love,” he whispers, laying a gentle kiss on your forehead as he pulls the blankets over you, citrine eyes aglow with kindness and love.

oh, don’t get me wrong, he loves hugs

and there are times he gets so bogged down with dealing with both idol stuff and schoolwork that he can’t keep on top of both and still excel, and the pressure starts getting to him (especially during exam season)

so hugs from you arewelcomed without any pretenses, no teasing, and in that moment it’s just the two of you, with you helping him deal with all the stress he has to deal with and he’s so grateful for you putting up with him
