I’ve finally, FINALLY finished converting my Jedoa species info sheet over from the massive single document into 8, smaller and easier to read documents. 

With the help of the Axie Stack, I’ve finally fleshed these guys out to a point where I’m not only happy with the result, but really confident in how everything fits together. Are there flaws? Sure! But this is all just for fun anyway :)

(oh, remembered something relevant: Jedoa are currently a closed species. No, that does not mean you can’t create any anthro bird. Just… give me time to flesh out more of my world before making one of these specific anthro birds)

a sandwing hen shows off some common pyrrhian livestock (and her fine clothes)

pyrrhian cattle were domesticated from an ancient oxen species, not aurochs as on earth! i'm still deciding how far i want to take them from that ox base... this individual is inspired heavily by depictions of bootherium (which would basically be the wild ancestor of pyrrhian cows). rabbits, ducks, and turkeys have domestication histories similar to on earth, though i'm still waffling on if domesticated rabbits are a widespread source of food. they're just so little...

a note on scale: pyrrhian cattle average around 4'5" at the shoulder. this sandwing is ~4'2" at the shoulder, making her slightly above average height.

i think the reason "fiction affects reality" trips so many people up is because they think it means "engaging with media that depicts uncomfortable subjects will taint your soul" when really all it means is that "fiction is meant to reflect certain ideas of the world intentionally or not, and it's going affect your perception of it, if you don't go in with a healthy bit of skepticism"
