my teefs are good, i got the stitches out today and everything looks good. only weird thing is the numbness in my lip, thats annoying

you see the reason douglas essas arent as appealing to me as non-douglas, even though i have a douglas is

douglas dogs are usually bought for that purpose. they are kept clean and tidy, socks on their feet to prevent dirtiness, brushed often, etc

non-douglas essas are commonly someone's well-loved, maybe even favorite childhood stuffed animal.

something about that raggedy plush tiger with floppy legs and dryer-burned fur and a weird blue stain from where a marker exploded on its tail and hand-stitched holes mended by a mother is so much more beautiful to me than these 30 dollar spick-and-span douglas dogs. that tiger has caught so many tears, seen happiness and sadness and sickness and health.

hey so i know this magic trick. ive known it for 12 years and today i learned nobody else knows it so im sharing my wisdom

start training yourself to open your eyes wide, almost painfully wide, for a moment when you are scared.

once it becomes habit, you can now use this power of opening your eyes really wide in scary situations to wake yourself up from nightmares (your eyes will open in the real world)

works every time, it's way way easier than trying to become fully aware and lucid in a dream and trying to control it. just end the situation
