So apparently someone’s made a fan remake of KQIV to use the point-and-click style instead of the original text parser, along with some other updates.

I don’t know if I’d actually want that - I mean, I’m oldschool enough that I played both text-parser versions of the game (yes, there were two) and poked at their quirks - but for a newcomer to the series this is probably going to be a lot easier to handle. 

And KQIV is an important part of gaming history, at least for me! Possibly a first ever female protagonist game that I got to play, though it’s hard to be sure about that, but certainly one that stood out the most. Super Mario Bros 2 (US) came out around the same year, so it was double princess power, and having them close together probably made an impact too.

(I do not count Ms Pac-Man or Ladybug as actual female protagonists, and I did not play Metroid, which obviously wasn’t marketed that way anyway.  It’s hard to get much info on early female protagonists though because a lot of sites ONLY list Metroid, when that’s provably false. There was a Cabbage Patch colecovision game with a female protagonist but I only had the OTHER cabbage patch game, iirc. So it’s entirely possible that Rosella was my first human female PC, the first time there was a girl on the game box and I could be her.)

BCS Group Rewatch???

I saw @saulwexler​ suggest that we all do a collective, week-by-week rewatch of Better Call Saul, and I think that sounds really fun!! I know a lot of us are planning on rewatching the show anyways, so why not do it together?

I thought I’d make a post to see if the BCS girlies would be interested in that! I’d be posting weekly for each episode so we can all stay on track!
