Got Scammed On Discord

For anyone of my mutuals/friends who know me on Discord, I got hijacked. One of my friends unfortunately had this happen, and they contacted me, begging me to contact this person who had a LinkedIn and everything. Looked legit, and I just wanted to clear the false reports. This person had me change my main email account to one that they set up for temporary custody to investigate my account. Now, I can't get back on it. Had to call up my bank and everything. I did what I could to try and cover bases. Be careful out there, folks. I reported what I could, talked to whoever I needed to, but still. Bummer way to go about the week.

Goodness! It’s been literal years since I posted anything here! That being said, I can’t think of a better place to put these old concept sketches that I did for my fanmade Princess Lobelia “episode” project that I never finished.

Since I had originally meant for it to be a flora-themed fairytale style story, I wanted to include some VT characters that were only ever seen once in canon episodes as well.

The main premise was that Petunia would be starring as Princess Lobelia; the spoiled, vain and snobby protagonist that scorns the wrong outsider. The Bad Apple makes an appearance as the story's tritagonist; a forest witch who places a curse upon Lobelia (Petunia) via a poisonous cosmetic that slowly changes her [the end result is the fourth image on the bottom left]. (Fun fact: I actually based the appearance of the "cursed" version of Lobelia off of a real rhubarb.)

The story has a few other canon characters that I, unfortunately, couldn't find the concept sketches of QQ. Except for the one I did for the deuteragonist of the story, Viola (as played by Esther) [the fifth picture on the bottom right], is the palace bard who is also Lobelia's closest friends.

Uuuuugh.... I wish I still had the concept sketches of Madame Blueberry playing as Queen Rosa, and Nebby playing as King Lilium. Sadly, those are lost in the void by now... R.I.P.

Maybe someday, I'll come back to this project. I even had a song in mind that would've made the PERFECT animatic for Bad Apple's "villain" song as the forest witch.

Sorry for the lack of activity, folks!  Things have been getting a little odd, and I’m getting distracted by other things lately.  I draw, but for some reason I just can’t get myself to draw using my TABLET THAT WORKS PERFECTLY FINE- It really does, but I just can’t get myself to draw using my computer... Don’t know why.

Why on earth I didn’t post this on Tumblr earlier, I don’t know.  So, here’s a concept design piece I did for Petunia’s character in the fanfic I’m working on.  I may end up having it formatted as a children’s illustrated book like VT actually has, but idk yet.  I guess this fanfic is my own kind of “reboot” of Sweetpea Beauty, but instead, I’m calling it “The Tale of Princess Lobelia”.  Of course, Petunia gets to play the princess, BUT...

The roles, plot, and morals of the story are going to be different.  Unlike the princess in Sweetpea Beauty, Princess Lobelia is a total spoiled brat.  Princess Lobelia doesn’t get to sing any songs, doesn’t have any really special abilities like the usual fairytale princess, nor does she have an actual love interest.  The lesson of not putting so much importance and stress into one’s appearance remains, but there will be a few other lessons as well in the story.

Forgot to post these sketches- Whoops. So, in the Nightmare/VT Crossover!AU, there were some VT characters I couldn’t pair up with AU roles. So, I decided to just make characters I couldn’t pair up Veggietales forms. For example, the Harlequin Demon (Left). Meanwhile, I chose to have Apollo Gourd as the Clown with the tear away face. Cause DAMN, both are big dudes!

The Origin of Cherrybomb (2/?)

Oof- This is why I don’t do comics.  My sense of pacing is absolute crap, I still suck at backgrounds, and it’s very difficult to be dramatic when I have no clue how the goddamn angles work.  I may end up doing an entire piece with a mini-drabble for the more “dramatic” part of this because the shadow looks so poop!  Oh well, this was a fun challenge, and I’m actually pretty happy that this is forcing me out of my comfort zone.

The Origin of Cherrybomb (1/?)

So, I decided to actually force myself to draw backgrounds for the comic strips that I’m gonna make for my veggiesona’s LB!verse character as seen here (X).

Also, I decided to add in a cameo of an OC of mine, only as an African gourd because it’s VT.  As for the idea behind the talisman, I actually did some research on animals that symbolize anger in witchcraft.  Turns out, the scorpion is a symbol of revenge, and considering the setting in which Kami gets the talisman, I figured- why not have it actually have some magical property?

Well crap, I hate having to do this- But I think I may have to put the two other outfit prompts on hold for now.  I’ve been getting distracted with other ideas and projects that I wanna do, but I’ll keep the two last prompts I have in my Askbox to- hopefully- get back to them later. QQ My apologies for the inconvenience!

As for the projects I hope to get around to, is primarily more sona stuff.  I wanted to do a mini-comic, or at least some art to be paired with a written fic for LB!verse Kami/Cherrybomb.  On top of that, I’m working on a fanfic/drawn story that is basically a heavily reworked and tweaked Sweetpea Beauty.  Only, I do a bunch of other stuff.  I don’t really think I could call it a rework of Sweetpea Beauty though, those who aren’t on the discord chat will need to wait for that.

Let’s just say that I hope I managed to maintain the primary lesson Sweetpea Beauty was supposed to convey, while also adding a few more on the side.  Plus, a lot of concept art that I’ll hopefully put up at some point.

these pictures do not do justice literally everything this monstrous creature did had me recoiling in disgust and horror. this eldrich abomination. in the way he moves, the crazed look in his eyes- like, this caused a more visceral reaction than PT or a thousand reaper leviathans

Something that I love about myself would probably be my temperment, and empathy. Having Aspergers is especially why I’m glad I can empathize easier, considering the stigma around those with Aspergers to a certain degree may have a harder time with it. Funny enough, I’ve met a few different people with varying degrees of this condition.

A trait that I admire in other people is sincerity, and patience. It’s especially appreciated when people have patience while dealing with me and my quirks.

A fun fact about my favorite animal is that cats and kittens who struggle with socialization can learn to adapt by using a toothbrush to gently brush them. This is actually something I was taught during one of my volunteer shifts at my local humane society, and it’s been a huge help when we get in new kitties that are shy, defensive, or scared.
