in your ruth redesign you had mentioned that she sells hand-knit pieces to the clothing shop liz works for, does she have any other physical craft related hobbies? (like sewing, etc) or in general any other hobbies?

yes ! Ruth spends most of her time at home, so she’s picked up a lot of hobbies to busy herself with. regarding physical craft-related hobbies, she does sew (mostly damaged) clothing, as well as occasionally cross-stitch and is a big fan of crocheting granny squares for various projects - especially for making throw blankets (her cottage is littered with them). she also enjoys other hobbies such as baking, gardening, learning to read and write, cooking, listening to music, and collecting small trinkets to decorate her home with

in this au vincent actually doesn’t really enjoy his cannibalism. it weighs heavy on his conscience, and causes a great deal of mental distress. it is a morbid curiosity in a taboo that, under normal circumstances, he would never actually indulge in, but the difference is that he has a motivation: equilateris. he entirely justifies all of his actions through the lens of vengeance for equilateris; even though equilateris never once asked for this. vincent goes to extremes in his obsessions, and romanticizes his actions without thinking of the reality of the situation and the consequences it incurs.

As an oppressed and weak woman from Gaza, I see myself in her. I, too, have suffered greatly—my baby, Qais, was injured in the war, and the hospital refused to treat him because we cannot pay.
