Hey, girls! First of all, it's been a long while since y'all posted. How's everything over there? Second of all, did something special happen over there? Perhaps any confessions to the ones you loved? Or is that just it?

And also, just to be a bit off-topic, in typical "ask [BLANK] this" fashion, if you girls are in a musical, what musical would you perform in?

Shaoshao here, allow me to address some things that happened behind the scenes while answering both the first and second questions, saving the third and final question for Marissa to answer. So, firstly, Hanenohara is on a hiatus, meaning we're on a hiatus, hence the lack of posting on here. Mostly because Hanenohara is out of her *ahem* "Transformers phase" and currently in "other fandoms", which also explains the emptiness of it all.

Secondly, no love confessions have been made, as of yet. In actuality, we're currently investigating Atari's supposed identity switch, or to put it, her possible case of Dissociative Identity Disorder, or D.I.D. for short, or something else entirely. Basically, her switch between Techcross and "Techbreaker", occuring when in her Transformer form. We have yet to uncover what is going on with her, and have yet to find a way to help her through what looked to be a painful process, but we'll just have to see for ourselves.

Anyways! Marissa here! To answer the third question, personally, for me, I'd be in Legally Blonde, because, well, Elle Woods slays (she ate and left no crumbs), and I would love to play as her. But for ALL of us, that's kind of tricky, because Shaoshao, Atari, and I have our own things, and some of them often clash. If it's an energetic musical that requires a lot of effort in both vocals and choreography, I'd be fit for the task, but not so much for the others who could do one thing or the other, but not both at the same time. But aside from Legally Blonde, I also like Beetlejuice. Whaddaya think, Shao? Would you perform in Beetlejuice with me?

With you as Barbara and me as Adam?

Sure! We can do that! If given the chance...

And there, the two girls continue to talk about castings and fancastings for musicals they like, including Beetlejuice.

Don't worry, she's currently being checked up on by Ratchet and other Cybertronian medics, trying to figure out if it's a bug/parasite implanted by the EDC, as Techbreaker said they were, or if it's indeed a mental disorder.

I think you'll want an explanation. This "killer mode" you speak of is something that had been built in, no, forcibly ingrained, Atari Hitotonari's brain by the Earth Defense Command to kill anything and anyone who dares be a threat to the EDC pilot's plans and mindset.

For now, I am a sort of split personality, but I wouldn't call myself that, for I am not an accurate representation of Dissociative Identity Disorder, I am just a bug in the machine, a parasite to its host.

At some Decepticon base, Starscream returns from his meeting with Atari, and Skywarp and Novastorm seem to be waiting for him. But for what reason?

Oh, Skywarp, Novastorm. Good to see you two, again.

Yeah, good to see you, too... boss. Yeah, same response.

Whatever, is something the matter? I could just tell by your tone of voice alone that there must be some serious topic we need to discuss, what is it?

About your friend. Y'know, the girl you saved from that monster some years ago?

Atari?

Yeah, her. We gotta talk about her.

Okay, to recap, you and Atari would meet up, talk about some scrap, and in return you either give something to her or she gives something to you.

You would give her gemstones, jewelry, anything a girl, human or not, would find very pretty, gorgeous even!

Yes, I don't see a problem in that, either.

But you didn't get to notice what she gives you every now and then? Well, we did. Yeah, very, VERY much.

Starscream is incredibly confused,

Novastorm pulls up one of those envelopes that you'd often see in romance anime, or anime in general.

Let me read one of these for you, then.

She opens this envelope, carefully, of course, pulls out the letter Atari wrote for Starscream, and reads it out loud.

"In a dream, I heard an echo of your voice, my dear, gently pulling me near. And for that moment, all my sadness had disappeared. Dawn arrives, and I awake in my room feeling blue, wishing I could see you. I let my eyes close and await you through fantasy."

Novastorm continued reading the letter, and yet, even then, Starscream couldn't even tell what was wrong with it.

There's nothing bad about it, it's just "Do You Remember Love?" from Macross...

Of course, there's nothing wrong with a love song from an 80s anime, because that's not the point, Starscream!

Then what is it, then?

THAT GIRL HAS A CRUSH ON YOU, DANG IT! SHE LOVES YOU! CAN'T YOU TAKE THE HINT?!

Silence envelops the base, an awkward silence at that. Then Starscream breaks the silence,

Wait, you're telling me that Atari has feelings for me beyond just platonically?

YES, STARSCREAM! YES!

But... No, that can't be right. My best friend, the human girl that I just saved, the girl that I saved, my best friend, a girl who is younger than me, she... Has a crush on me?

Skywarp and Novastorm nodded in unison, as Starscream began to fall into what looked to be despair.

No... No, no, no, NO! This can't be happening! Why me? Why me of all people? I get that, to her, I'm a nice Decepticon, therefore a nice person, but to have a crush on me BECAUSE OF THAT?!

He shakes his head at this information,

No, no. I'm not doing this, I'm not dating my best friend. No way. Not because she's a human, but SHE'S A CHILD! I AM A GROWN ADULT! Of a different species that ages differently compared to humans, yes, but my point still STANDS.

He takes a breath, before falling to his knees and his hands against his face, groaning.

Why... Just why...?

Silence envelops the base, again, until it is broken again by Novastorm.

Uhhh... Starscream? I think we got a visitor.

Oh, REALLY? I swear, if it's who I expect it to be, I'm going to lose it-

Starscream turns around to see none other than Marissa, who just happened on by the base, by accident but stuck around to hear the Decepticons speak.

Marissa?

Oh. My. God. I knew something was up with Atari throwing them hints and giving them sighs when talking about you, Starscream, so Shaoshao WAS RIGHT! ALL ALONG!

Marissa, it's not what it looks like-

"Not what it looks like-" my BUTT! I heard the entire thing, Starscream! No going back around this, sport!

Alright, listen to me, humanization of Hisbiscus, you better not speak of this to anyone, ESPECIALLY Atari, for if you do, I won't hesitate to harm you. Do you understand?

Marissa nods, Yeah, I understand, zippin' my lips, locking it, and throwing the key away. I promise.

You promise?

Cross-my-heart-and-hope-to-die kind of promise, yes.

Okay, you better be, because if you break it, it's not gonna be pretty.

Okay!

Several weeks later, Marissa broke the promise. Instead of Starscream going after Marissa, Atari just earned a new power or split personality: RAGE/KILLER MODE.

(Equal parts comedy bit and equal parts Kiss Players Rewrite lore. Now, just some advice, beware of the nice girls, they can fuck you up big time.)

Singing Practices...

The girls decide to practice singing covers of some songs, either for fun or, in Atari's case, to practice singing "Do You Remember Love?" from Macross to confess her feelings and probably end a galactic war while doing it.

Marissa is singing the opening theme song to Cassette Girl Rosie... "When the bright rays of the sun, and the coolness of the moon collide, you'd get both chaos and the goodness of life! The sea, the sky, the grass, all is so wonderful in both lights!"

Shaoshao is singing the opening theme song to Magical Robot Circus Glam-Heal... "Push through the hate and make it to the finishing line! Come on in and join the fun! We've got no time to waste! Come along, and run, with the Magical Robot Circus Glam-Heal!"

And after the two girls are done, it's up for Atari to practice singing.

Alright, Atari! It's your turn now! What song are you gonna sing?

Oh! Uh...

Is everything okay, Atari? If you don't want to practice, we can just end it here-

No, no! I do want to practice! I just... I'm kind of scared. This song I'm thinking of singing is one of my favorites, and yet... I'm too afraid of singing it myself, especially to you girls, because if I embarrass myself in front of you, I embarrass myself in front of everyone. And I don't want to humiliate myself because of it!

Hey, now, Atari, it's okay. We'll try and support you, no matter what. Besides, I'd think you'd make an amazing singer! Oh- And think of how Starscream would feel about your performance! I'm sure he would be proud of his dear human.

Yeah... Think of how Starscream would think. Has he ever heard you sing, Atari?

No... He hasn't.

Then let me say this: Imagine yourself, on that stage, in Lynn Minmay's outfit, out in that space, and there, Starscream, in awe at your voice, almost as if it was love at first sight. Of which, it won't be because you're a child, but you get my point. You can do this, Atari, not just for us, but also for yourself, and for Starscream. Make us proud, Atari, make us all proud.

Atari thinks about it, and finally, she takes a breath and begins to sing "Do You Remember Love?" from Macross...

Oh, hey! Sorry for the unannounced hiatus! We were SO busy over Christmas and New Year's that we kinda forgot about this site! Sorry!

Marissa was so drunk over some sparkling cider of all things that she ended up having a hangover at the end of it. It took us several days for her to recover...

That's not how a hangover works, Shaoshao! And besides, it wasn't even sparkling cider either, I just called it that to hide that I was drinking champagne!

Still, Marissa. Still.

While Marissa-san and Shaoshao-san are, I would assume, arguing, I'll try to fill in the role of answerer and tell you about how my Christmas and New Year's went. I was with Starscream, during Christmas, we watched the parades and had some sweets, and made some snowmen, and during New Year's, we watched some concerts, had some sweets again, and watched the fireworks. Those are the most wonderful moments of my life, sharing them with my dearest friend, Starscream... Had I not been stuck in this body of mine, I would have considered those moments romantic, too, but of course, it's only platonic. *sigh*

Hanenohara isn't gonna come back unless something related to the Transformers becomes popular again, you know her when it comes to her phases.

Aw c'mon, Shaoshao, don't be so sour, I'm sure she'll come around! Not right now, and not any sooner, but hey! It takes time for a phase to come back, right? Right?

Given how long it might take for the spark to ignite, we'll just have to see, Marissa-san.

What music do you girls listen to? (If you have any specifics you want to bring up like what genres you listen to, or something like that, go on ahead and talk about them.)

Ohhhhhhh-kay, this is rather difficult because I have so many preferences in terms of music. Funnily enough, besides the official music from Cassette Girl Rosie, I also like Green Day and Journey. Anything that sounds awesome and nice to my ears, I'm listening to it all year long.

For me, anything that sounds traditional to me is a win. By traditional, I mean any festival music from any culture, I'm cool with it. Seems out-of-ordinary, but hey, music is music, to me at least.

Macross was one of those mecha anime that I really enjoyed, to where it's almost like that of a comfort show to me. It was also Kayu's favorite anime, too, which adds more to the comfort. Whenever Kayu isn't around, I would imagine them by my side, watching it with me...

Aww... Atari.

And every now and then, I would imagine myself singing "Do You Remember Love?" to Starscream, as a confession, while also stopping a war between two or more species. Much like how it worked in Macross: Do You Remember Love?

O-Oh, actually, I do. I was aware of them thanks to prior missions by Kayu, who told me about the Malto family and their experiences with Cybertronians, Autobot and Decepticon.

As for my opinion on Hashtag Malto? She does seem quite pleasant, I'm sure she would explain a lot of things I had never heard about and she'll listen to what I would talk about, and she wouldn't have any problem with it. She'd be an excellent friend, much like Starscream-sama... *sigh*

What do you think about the Transformers? Like the Autobots and Decepticons? Since you girls have special bonds with them, what do you think of them?

I have so many opinions on everyone, especially the Transformers, as I was obsessed with them when I found out they're real and exist alongside us, I was ecstatic! So, when I was still in the EDC but snuck off to have my own fun, I immediately went around and soon met Elita-1, who would, later on, let me meet Optimus for the first time! And man, was it a dream come true!

Marissa-san, you're shouting too much, I fear you're going to pass out from lacking oxygen.

Oh, my bad, Atari, I got too excited. Uh- Anyways, anonymous individual, to give a summary: I have been a massive fan of them ever since I was little (I say that as I'm 19, meaning I'm an adult, so I have an excuse) and still am, though I have a much larger love for Elita-1 since she's like me and I'm like her, so we get along quite well, especially in fusion, no cons, only pros!

Anyway, I'm done now, what about you, Atari?

Oh, um... Well, we already know my attachment towards Starscream and my friendship with him, but I suppose nobody knows the meat of the story, other than that he saved me... To explain, before I met Starscream, I wasn't in a good place, to begin with, I was sent to missions that would risk my life and potentially give me horrific injuries, all to retrieve pieces of a Transformer we don't even know the name of, and every time after, I always come back unscathed but mentally scarred. Every now and then, my only comfort was my friend Kayu-kun, full name Kayu Michikusa, who would come by and hand me some snacks while talking about pleasant things like flowers or animals every time I recovered from a mission or from... *hesitantly speaking* Ringo Chikuma and Amao Hitoshizuku.

So, when I was saved by Starscream, at first I was scared of him because of both his size and his affiliation with the Decepticons, but as he and I continued talking, I realized he and I weren't so different, he was abused by Megatron and some of his peers, much like how I was treated poorly by Amao and Ringo, and after that, we vowed to each other that we shall stand up against our oppressors and become something more than just a human girl or a giant robot...

That we are more than meets the eye. That was our vow.

Silence envelopes the room, Marissa looks at Atari with shock, jaw dropped to the floor. Though not participating, Shaoshao also shares the same expression as Marissa.

Oh- Oh dear, did I speak too much? I'm sorry-

Oh, no, no, you're perfectly fine, Atari, but my goodness, that was a lot to take in! Even if I heard that perhaps who knows how many times, it's still a lot to take in! Congrats on that! *gives Atari a thumbs up*

Marissa, do we really need to congratulate that?

C'mon, Shaoshao, look on the bright side, Atari just opened up about the horrors she experienced in the EDC, we both know how bad it was when we were part of it.

I'm aware, but we are just on the first step of it all, and the EDC is still doing bad shit under some of the public's noses. I can understand where you're getting with it, Mari, but save it for the end.

Man...

Anyway, while Shaoshao-san and Marissa-san are talking over there, even if my chest still feels heavy, I feel light enough to feel happy. Thank you, Anonymous-san, that's very appreciated of you.

Sorry it took a while, I was going through some roadblocks to get here. And by that, I mean I had to avoid getting caught by Megatron.

Oh, don't worry about him, he's not of any threat to us, for now. It's just the both of us, here in the outdoors.

And having talks like the best friends we are.

The two would have various conversations, like they did before, about what was going on in their lives: Atari talking about her life, and Starscream talking about his life. It's as simple as that.

I wanted to give you something. Here's a blue gemstone I found while just scouting around. I don't know what kind of crystal it is, but it reminded me of you.

Starscream hands Atari a shining Aquamarine, smooth as if carved by an expert jewelry maker.

Talking about Cassette Girl Rosie!

Hey! Just bringing up a character from an anime and manga that I love to high-heaven.

So, what I'm talking about is Cassette Girl Rosie, which funnily enough has a plot similar to the magical-girl anime Creamy Mami, as it follows a human who ends up getting abducted by aliens and then given the power to become a magical pop star. The twists, however, are not just that the magical pop star in question is a feminine robot who transforms into a cassette tape, but the human isn't a girl, but a boy who transforms into this magical robot pop star.

Bonkers, I know, but it's awesome! I have songs from the anime in my playlist for everything. It's almost unhealthy how much I love Cassette Girl Rosie.

It's considered unhealthy to you and to some, but I find that normal about you, Marissa-san.

Oh! Atari, cool to see you here!

Only for a brief moment. I have a secret meeting with Starscream, so don't tell Prime about it, otherwise, he might tell Megatron about it, so... (You can tell Shaoshao-san because I trust her much like how I trust you but not so much for Prime and Megatron-sama... Megatron-sama scares me, no matter how nice he seems now...)
