We've officially stepped into the spookiest time of the year, when howls echo through barren trees and a full moon could illuminate the spirits hiding in the shadows. Fall is the best season for hot coffee on a cool mornings and scary movies after dark, the perfect combination of cozy weather and frightening adventures.

For Halloween 2021 we will be hosting an Ouran Halloween Contest! There will be three categories for your choice of submission and a first, second, and third winner that will be announced on Halloween day. The winners be decided by how many notes their submissions receives! The winners are not exclusive to categories, the categories are to offer options for participants.

The prizes will be a free personalized letter from your favorite host, complete with a handwritten letter, ouran stickers, and candy.

There will be three categories for you to choose from; fanfiction, fanart, and cosplay. All entries are not limited to number of hosts/characters or paranormal/scary content.

Fanfiction must be between 1k-5k words and can either be posted on Tumblr, AO3, or FanFiction.net (share the link in submission).

Fanart can be any medium of art. If hand-drawn, please submit a well lit photograph or scan of the artwork. All artwork must be age appropriate (no emphasis on private body parts or nakedness).

Cosplay can be of any (one) host/character. Cosplay can be as scary or creepy as you'd like but please keep the dress age appropriate (no nakedness or "cutting it close").

All entries need to be submitted to the blog to be included in the contest. When the voting period begins they will be posted as part of the contest and tagged #ouranhalloweencontest.

Please read the Contest Guidelines before submitting;

Contest is exclusive to US participants (solely for prize shipping, I'm sorry)

One entry per person, no matter the category.

No NSFW content, no exceptions. Any NSFW submissions will be deleted.

You may for vote for others' submissions but not your own submission.

You must submit your entries within the appropriate dates or they will not be counted.

Submissions will stay open between September 10 - October 24.

The voting period will last between October 25 - October 30.

The three winners will be announced on Halloween.
