Okay I have to get this headcanon out before season 2 debunks it, but I have thoughts on how Wednesday texts.

Wednesday is very old school, to the point that each text looks like she’s writing a letter. Perfect punctuation and everything. Even when she is simply responding with an emoji, it will still have a “Dear [person],” and a “Sincerely, Wednesday Addams” surrounding it.

The twist, she only texts like this to Enid. And it drives Enid up the fucking wall. (Hence why she does it, of course.)

To everyone else, She still uses complete sentences and all, but she leaves out the header and footer.

Alternatively, though much less likely: Wednesday texts exactly as you’d expect a typical teen girl would text to everyone else, using all the abbreviations, aside from Enid, and it leaves Enid in complete bafflement when someone else shows her their text chains with Wednesday.

One day Enid gets a random text from Wednesday that says:

“shopping for knives ttyl [peace sign emoji]”

and it is immediately followed by:

“Dear Enid Sinclair,

The above message was meant for Xavier. I selected your name by accident. Disregard. 

All the worst,

Wednesday Addams”
