Well whatever the reason behind it, I don’t think its weird. My brother Ben has to pace around the outside of his home before he can leave and I have no idea. Its so strange to me but everyone has that one thing that is often unexplainable, as in your case, so I definitely know what you mean about not knowing a reason. I don’t have a fear of flying, I just don’t like the slow descent to the ground that comes with being on a Ferris Wheel. I would much rather die going fast on a roller coaster and not seeing the ground coming than the opposite result. And when I tell people the reason, they just laugh and I’m like ‘Its not funny, its smart!” 

Haha yeah, we all have our odd habits. Some are weirder than the others but at the end of the day, if you feel good about yourself then it’s okay. People might laugh at you but it actually makes sense! Ferris wheels are slow so you see and feel it going down. But you don’t have this stressful feeling of anticipation on a fast roller coaster. And that feeling is scary so yeah, I get it.

It was so easy to be in the moment with Kit. Being around someone you knew as well as she did, it just made things easy. There was no stress for Emilia to be anyone but herself around him. Even better, he liked her just the way she was, dorky moments and all. Seeing his face light up from her comment just made her eyes twinkle more and a few soft giggles to fall from her lips. This Kit, the Kit she loved and adored, the happy version of himself was the best treat she could have gotten. When the final season of Thrones had hit – even when they had been filming – it had been a hard weight on their hearts. You could see it in them the whole build up to the season and after. This – seeing him happy, healthy, looking like that? She couldn’t help but smile. “Oi, stop that, of course they’d miss you. Who else are they going to use when they need something dangerous done and don’t want to sacrifice themselves?” Emilia teased, grinning at him as if it weren’t true. 

One of her infamous brows raised in suspicion. “Did you piss off the bartender that he’d poison it? Because if that’s the case – why are you pissing off the bartender that’d be making our drinks? That’s just a bad move, Kitten.” Emilia teased as if she was chastising him. “Well…” she sighed dramatically at his joke of them dying together, “At the very least I won’t be dying alone this time.” A devious look twinkled in her eye. She knew he’d get what she was referencing, and at this point if they didn’t laugh about it, they’d cry so it was best to make a joke out of it. “There’s worse ways I could go… but I’m haunting your arse in the afterlife.” she warned as she clinked her glass against his. “To.. a thousand years.” This time it was more obvious on her eyes she was serious. “and being happy.” 

Emilia’s teasing made him laugh heartily. He knew that it was exactly what the girls would say, that they would tell him the only reason why they needed him was to use him as a shield. Yet he couldn’t help feeling amused. He was in a happy place. The last few months had been hard. The last season had taken away all his energy and he had felt miserable when it came to an end. So miserable, actually, that he had to ask for help and talked to someone. He was feeling better now and he had felt way better since Emilia arrived in town. She had this gift, this thing that made him want to be a better person. And he was grateful for her presence.

“I didn’t piss him off! I’ve been nice, I just told him that he could use whatever he wants as long as the cocktail is good and alcohol free.” he protested. Then he rolled his eyes, Emilia mentioning Dany’s death. Killing her had been hard, hard enough to make him cry during the table read. “You’re terrible.” he chuckled. But she was right. It was better to laugh about it than to overthink and feel bad about it all over again. As they clinked their glasses, the male nodded his head slowly and offered her a massive grin. “To a thousand years and being happy.” he repeated. Taking a sip of his drink, he quickly realised that trusting the bartend was a good idea. The guy knew how to do his job well. Keeping his glass on one hand, he grabbed some food with the other one. “Do you know what’s the first thing I’m going to do once we are home?” he asked. “Looking for a priest so he could free me from your ghost.” he joked, giving her a proud smile but an innocent look.

I don’t think there’s anything to be nervous about at all. You’re gonna be welcomed into the family with open arms! Sweet! I think I heard about that, it’s The Eternals, right? That’s like the best cast already. I mean, you four are gonna kick some major butt for sure! Really? How were the Emmys? Did you guys win anything for GOT? Oh, it’s a play I did over in London over the Summer and they decided to bring it on over to the States. How’ve you been enjoying your little time off?

Let’s hope so! The Eternals, yes. The cast looked amazing on paper and they are even better in real life. I already love working with them all. The Emmys were great, we won “outstanding drama series”. And it was fun to celebrate it with everybody. That’s cool! I hope you are having fun playing it again. Well I slept a lot, went to a few meetins, went to the cruise.. now I’m in England because we have started to film.

Exactly, especially after how important Thrones was to you. I’ve been filming a movie called Greenland, although we’ve just wrapped that up, so I’ve got a bit of downtime!

We are talking about Emilia and her dragons, of course she would. Plus, we are a part of the dragons lovers family too so it would be rude of her not to help us. You’re smart, Gerard. I guess we have to find someone we could sacrifice for this good cause. Do you have some enemies you’d like to take down? Oh that’s nice. What’s the movie about? Are you going to celebrate Halloween with your daughter in town now that you have some free time?

Truly! Listening to music is so great when you’re driving, because you get to listen to your favorite song or artist while you drive, and it helps you clear your mind and makes wherever you’re going that much easier. It also helps pass the time, too, you know? It’s always hard to sit down and actually listen to an album in its entirety, but going for a drive helps with that, for sure. It truly is! As long as you’re paying attention to what you’re doing and being courteous to those on the road, I think you’re set to go as a driver because anything else would not be your fault. 

I couldn’t agree more. I can’t stay in a car without listening to music. Except when I am really mad and just need to focus on myself on the backseat. Luckily it doesn’t happen 24/7 so most of the time, I’m singing behind the wheel and turn the drive into something fun. What have you been up to lately, except from enjoying yourself while driving?

Strong point there, taken. You do have this need to complain, especially in the early mornings. Luckily for you, I enjoy your company even when you’re a grumpy git. So really, this all works out in both our favor. A true win-win. No! No telling Jason. I have to see him on the Graham Norton show in a few weeks, so no – no telling him that! You keep that a secret or I’ll go tell Richard he’s the most handsome bloke and he’ll then remind me that he was the first one that saw how gorgeous I was on set. Plus Jason will be mean and send me clips of your so lovingly character stabbing me to make a damn point. Psh, you say that as if I’m afraid of Marvel. Don’t worry, tell them I’ll beat your ego back into submission. I don’t want you to scuff up that pretty face. Of course you’d put the blame on me, I’d expect nothing else! Though I should go around putting out that Kit Harington said I’m always beautiful because it’s a win for me. Gonna put that in my instagram bio. Make it official. Yes I’m basically a tiny squishy pillow, so use me. Wait – why am I crying? That’s just rude, Harington! Sure, my health being better would have been ideal but I think everything happens for a reason. Experience that made everything I got to experience after that much – sweeter. Plus I trusted you, I knew there was one thing you’d always do and it’s protect me and my privacy. Plus you just… you keep me calm in this really weird way. I’m always going to wish we got to work together longer, always – after ten years I would have loved to really spend a little more time with you on set, but I cherish the moments we did. It was more than a wonderful time, I don’t even know if there’s a word to describe getting to work with you. I hope you know, no matter how much I may joke, it really was one of the highlights of working on Thrones. Iceland was amazing and I’m so grateful that you got to show me. I now know why you were so enamored with it. Maybe while I’m traveling for the different premieres for Last Christmas I’ll make a pit stop over night back in Iceland. Relive those – memories. Speaking of premieres, I know you’re super busy now, being a big, top movie star now that you’re with Marvel, but I was wondering if – you would go with me.. to the Last Christmas premiere. In London. You know, I’d just like to go with someone and couldn’t think of anyone better. Should you have time for a peasant like me, if you haven’t forgotten us little people! Okay is this where I’m supposed to lie and deny that I liked kissing you? I can do that whole fake pretend but yeah, I’ve kissed far worse. I enjoyed kissing you a bit more than I should admit. Even when you were being an arse and pretending to vomit, though there’s many moments catching you smiling while kissing me! So there’s that. Even if it totally can make a girl wonder about her kissing skills, so how sweet of you! Yes you don’t get to hear me go on and on about wanting to kiss you AND your abs. That’s just too much even for your ego. Those early morning were the best. If only, you could always come over every morning for us to try and squeeze those in. I guess if you really miss it crash at my place, I’ve got a ton of room. I’ll even get your favorite under eye patches to make sure you get the full spa experience! Complaining is healthy. I have to let people know my opinion. Plus it's hard to be all smiley early in the morning. You're the only person I know who's able to be cheerful at 4am. You have a gift. Mine is to make fun of myself and be grumpy. W o w are you threatening me right now? I don't care if Richard becomes the most handsome one or if Jason sends you clips of Dany's death -- okay I'm lying. I care about it so I'm gonna keep that secret and I hate you for that. Putting the blame on you is mandatory, you know. I do it all the time. And that's also a way to protect myself from the producers' anger. They are paying me, I don't want them to be mad at me and to kick me out. We've already started to film but recast is a real thing. Gonna avoid it. I'm pretty sure that you are going to make the internet go crazy if you write it down in your Instagram bio. People are going to make screenshots and it's gonna be everywhere. Including on tabloids' headlines. Protecting you is what your knight in shining armor has to do. 24/7. But you know how I feel about privacy and the internet. You know that I hate when my life ends up online. I know it's a part of our job, that people want to know everything about us and what we are doing when we are not working and how we are in real life. But there are some things that only belong to us and your health is one of them. People didn't have to learn what happened unless you wanted to open up about it. It was none of their business and protecting you from their nosiness was a normal thing to do. I would even say that it was obvious to me. Alright, stop making me smile. It was a great time, indeed. I loved it and Dany and Jon should have met earlier. You should go back to Iceland whenever you can. This place will forever be in my heart, it's lovely and I'm not even going to talk about its inhabitants because they're pure gold. Do you really need to ask? Of course I'm coming. I'll be there. Tell me when and where and I'll make it happen. Excuse me while I go and brag about what you just said on our kisses. And smiling while kissing you? I really don't know what you are talking about it. That's never too much for my ego, my big head loves hearing good stuff about myself. You know that you can't take that offer back, right? Whenever I'm in town, I'll crash at your place and ask for a full spa experience. I'll come back just for you but I'm not going to tell you more about it. A man has his secrets. I'm kinda scared of what we could come up with if you start thinking about Halloween costumes. I think you should go as Jon Snow because the Omaze video was fantastic. I think the last song I listened to was one of my favorite songs and that’s Separate Ways by Journey. It has always been one of my favorite songs, and I can listen to it over and over again.

I agree. They might be mad at me so I’m gonna try to avoid that and stay safe and sound. I get it, that’s a good song! Journey songs are great carpool karaoke songs anyway. I mean, who hasn’t sung Don’t Stop Believing out loud, behind the wheel?!

Has it really been that long? Given I’ve turned thirty-three this past July. Doesn’t seem like it could possibly be that long since we started all that together. Almost seems like yesterday we were all getting our call back to go meet each other. Time doesn’t slow down does it. And here we are about to join the Marvel team. Together. Couldn’t get rid of you apparently. You’re a right git with who blasted picky you can be. Just thought you should know. Something tells me even if they separate us at press tour we’ll still end up in some kind of hi-jinx with each other. Though be aware, Gemma is most definitely Team Richard so I’m going to win any of that. Aye, I know. Talked to a lot of the cast when you lot were filming, saw a lot of the behind the scenes stuff. Can’t imagine when a lot were so – not very happy with a lot of things. Caught up with Emilia at the Times 100 Ball and she barely had it in her to speak the name of the show let alone anything else. Press hounded her that even I had to say something. Talked to Alfie who just seemed – dead void of it. Hence why I haven’t watched the final season myself. Just admit it, admit you’re Team Richard, be done with it. We all know the truth, you can’t deny me handsome good looks and personality. Ah, no. Didn’t make it. Was back in London, meeting with the trainer I’ve been assigned. Wanted to make sure I didn’t miss out on this cruise so had to go when the lot of you went to the Emmys. Talk about a reunion without me. 

We met in our early 20s and now we’re old. That’s the only thing I know. But don’t lie to yourself, Richard. We all know that you are very happy to have me by your side for this Marvel adventure. You couldn’t dream of a better partner. Gemma is Team Richard for now. I am going to make her change her mind. I have a lot of time ahead on set and on press days and I promise that when everything’s over, she’ll be Team Kit. This is my new goal. Ugh man, I hate the press. They have been the worst, especially with Emilia. She didn’t deserve it. None of us did, to be honest. But Em... There are still asking her questions about the show, as if they haven’t done enough yet. It pisses me off. I won’t admit it publicly but aye, of course I’m Team Richard. I try to hide it but, apparently, someone has figured it out and confessed it to the Beat. But the reunion itself shows that the rest of the cast is Team Kit. Kidding. We all love you and we missed you. I might tease Sophie and Maisie about the fact that I have the chance to hang out with you 24/7 again.

It’d be the perfect time of year for it, too. No one would bat an eye if there were dragons flying around Bayview; they would just think that it was someone’s decorations. But you’re right, we would draw in a bunch of tourists, eventually, and I guess there’s always the possibility of the dragons eating people, too, if we’re not careful. I might – I think it would have to be the perfect project, though, you know? Otherwise, I’m happy with movies.

You’re right, it could be more discreet than what I imagined. I should tell Emilia that it’s time for her to take a walk with her last dragon baby. Dragons eating people would be a disaster, I can already imagine the headlines. I get it! That’s how I’ve been feeling about TV since the end of Thrones. Like I could go back there but only if it’s the perfect project. Have you been working on something lately?

Kit and Lizzie have been seen out a time or two in Bayview, although we’re not sure if that was just as friends, something more, if feelings have changed, if there’s something there, nothing there, it’s hard to tell! All that we know is that they’re two pretty damn attractive people, so… why not?!

For her part, Lizzie hasn’t really been linked to anyone lately (she’s a damn good mama) and Kit’s been linked to Emilia – although not romance so much as speculation, so maybe, maybe not? But we can definitely double down on it being an interesting pairing!

Imagine if you could FaceTime instead of having to show up to work? It’d be so much nicer to do besides having to fly or drive. I am, yeah! I’m pretty excited to start filming it and dive deeper into the character. I bet! I did hear that you’ve entered the Marvel world, though! That sounds exciting! 

Some people use Skype for work and honestly, they’re lucky. We could ask Marvel to do the same but I think they’d be too afraid to be recorded or hacked. They don’t joke when it comes to spoilers from what I’ve heard. I have, yes! I’m super excited to join this family and to work with Richard again. It’s great that you have the opportunity to know more about your own character though.

Kit and Emilia should stay friends. I’d like to see kit go with someone who wasn’t in the same show.

Do ya think so, anon? We have to say, we’re torn on this one! On one hand, we think that it’s fun to see unexpected couples happening. People that you otherwise never would have thought ending up together just kind of takes your breath away, right? So we sorta get it, it’d be fun to shake it up.

But chemistry is chemistry, too, so maybe they will end up together?! Sometimes you hit it off and get to know each other and that’s honestly, truly all it really takes, so it’s hard to say! But if you think he should end up with someone else… got any names in mind?

Kit and Emilia would be a cute couple. Do you think they’d take their relationship off screen and make it something in real life as well?

Who knows, tipster! Sometimes those on screen relationships translate pretty well into off screen chemistry. And other times… not so much. But given that the two of them aren’t working together anymore, we’d be willing to bet that it might actually work in their favor!

Either way, it’s got to be a little less doomed than their relationship on the show, right? Right?! Probably there’s nothing dramatic enough that could happen that would compare to that, and we’re always on board to see new, cute couples happening in town.
