Himaruya has revealed on Twitter the cover for Prime Minister Club Volume 2. It will collect chapters that were originally serialized in Jump Square. It is slated for release on November 4, 2021 - the same day as the Hetalia☆Collezione fanbook.

Prime Minister Club, a manga serialization by Hidekaz Himaruya and Kenichi Sakura, launched in Jump Square in the February 2021 issue. The first volume was released on April 2, 2021.

Himaruya has revealed on Twitter the cover for Prime Minister Club Volume 1. It will collect chapters that were originally serialized in Jump Square. It is slated for release on April 2, 2021 - the same day as Hetalia: World☆Stars Volume 5.

As previously announced, the serialization for the World☆Stars will also resume on April 1, 2021, coinciding with the premiere of the new season of the anime.

Himaruya announced on Twitter that his new manga serialization will be called “Prime Minister Club” ( 総理倶楽部  Sōri Club). The comedy manga will have a theme of “Japanese Prime Ministers” and Kenichi Sakura (Dragon Drive, The Prince of After School) will be in charge of storyboard composition.

The January issue of Jump SQ will reveal more details on December 4, with the serialization beginning in the following issue on January 4, 2021. (x)

[Translation] Advance! Kitakou Broadcasting Club Pure - “Imari-san's Valentine”

Back in 2006, Himaruya published a Valentine’s Day comic that also served as a crossover between his long-running webcomics Advance! Kitakou Broadcasting Club Pure and Barjona Bombers, titled “Imari-san’s Valentine”. Later, when he redesigned the Kitayume website around 2008, this comic was removed along with the rest of the Pure series. However, he would republish it on Bamboo Thicket that same year.

We’re pleased to announce that, fifteen years after its original publication, a revised English translation of this comic is now available.

[Translation] Advance! Kitakou Broadcasting Club - “Christmas is at Kitakou” and “A Yunyun Christmas”

Back in 2003, Himaruya published his first comic set at Christmas for his first long-running webcomic Advance! Kitakou Broadcasting Club, titled “Christmas is at Kitakou”. Later, when he redesigned the Kitayume website around 2008, the index for the series was reorganized and this Christmas story was partially republished under the new name “A Yunyun Christmas”.

We’re pleased to announce that, 17 years after it’s original publication, it’s finally available to read in English.

The beginning of the comic can be read here under it’s original title, while the rest that was later republished separately can be read here. The whole comic has also been mirrored together in it’s original format on Dreamwidth.

Bubutan - Complete Series Translation

While the project of scanlating Hidekaz Himaruya’s other, non-Hetalia works is still ongoing, we’re pleased to announce that translation and typesetting of his short manga series Bubutan has been completed.

Running intermittently from 2005 through 2009, Bubutan consists of a series of short comics about Himaruya’s pet bunny. The Kitayumeverse index page for the series can be viewed here, and the list of the comics themselves are as follows:
