I have a fun headcanon/au idea where, when sentibeings get a hand on their amoks, they’re able to then shape shift and change their forms on a whim

now, I know it’s not really aligned with canon, but I love shape shifting shenanigans, and it would give the sentikids an opportunity to reflect their inner turmoil, externally. And it takes the free will aspect of the amok even further, as they are are now able to chose exactly who and what they want to be

it also gives me an excuse to give Felix Nimona vibes

I love thinking about Gabriel having empathetic abilities that span all of Paris while he’s looking for some one to akumatize. Like if he masked up and has to sift through all of Paris’ emotions to find the perfect target.

which leads me to imagine Gabriel in his fucking lair like, hmmmm oh! I’ve never felt a despair/fury/fear like this!! This is my perfect Akuma for sure! And then when he zeros in he’s like, goddamn it… Nathalie it was Adrien again, we gotta pick someone else.

Man, Emilie having virtually no characterization in the show beyond what other people say about her is so good, because you can interpret her character however you want

like sometimes I like the to project my opinions and experiences with my own mother onto her and Adrien because I’m drawing from what I know in my own life and I love my mom despite her flaws and I think she’s been a great mother despite her flaws too

but other times I’m like, imagine wanting a child so bad you used magic to grow a baby inside of you, and now imagine how terrifying that is. It’s unprecedented, and with what we know of the amoks and the fact that it was her and Gabriel’s wedding rings? I dunno it’s a little suspicious man

like sometimes its nice to speculate on what’s fantastic mother she could have been, but also sometimes it’s fun to lean into the possible toxic horror she could have contained, ya know?

sometimes i think about how gabriel can't exactly CHOOSE what powers to give someone, the powers need to be related to whatever emotion the person is feeling / what they want deep down / etc. and i think about how when gabriel decided to control and force his son to be akumatized, adrien became 'Ephemeral', whose power was to make time pass faster. he was forced to see his mother's body, completely cornered by his father, and couldn't even control his own body for reasons unknown to him. he had absolutely no power there and could not even hope to. the most he could want for was "i want this to end quickly"

No thoughts, only Chat Noir making fun of his civilian self and Argos getting SO defensive over his cousin because this alley cat thinks he’s better than Adrien?? He WISHES he were half the person Adrien is, and Chat Noir doesn’t know if he should laugh or be genuinely touched by how much Félix is defending him.

Then later Adrien is like, “I heard you think I’m braver than Chat Noir :3” and Félix is a little embarrassed he heard about everything so he just says something like, “Well someone had to defend you to the stray since you weren’t around to do it.”
