I'm a senior in highschool and hope to study either chemical engineering or mechanical engineering.

My special intrest is military equipment (especially vehicles)! I voulenteer at the American Military History Museum in Los Angles and hope to crew military vehicles in the future as well!

MH-60M under the 160th SOAR¹ "Night Stalkers" dismounts infantry during urban combat training exercise inside of downtown Los Angeles.

Unfortunately, no further information of the units on the ground are available however they could be a number of different forces, from the FBI's HRT² to MARSOC³, Navy Seals, Delta Force & US Army Rangers.

1 - SOAR

Acronym for Special Operations Air Regiment, this unit is a highly capable in various forms of specialized warefare. Equipped with drones & highly modified helicopters, this unit assists special operations units by providing fire support, resupply and transport.

2 - FBI's HRT

An acronym standing for Hostage Rescue Team, they are a highly specalized group of operators under the jurisdiction of the FBI in handling hostage rescue, air assault, counterterrorism & bomb defusal and is without investigative duties. Considered a Tier 1 equivalant in it's capabilities its operations include both domestic and foreign combat missions.

3 - MARSOC

An acronym for Marine Special Operations Command, or more well known for Marine Raiders. Marine Raiders have eight main missions, direct action, special reconnaissance, counterterroism, foreign internal defense, security force assistance, counterinsurgency, support to combating weapons of mass destruction & unconvential warefare. Usually, engaging in direct action.

Pictured is an AJS-37 Viggen ("Thunderbolt"), formerly a attack & reconnaissance fighter variant of the JA-37 air superiority fighter now in use by a civilian pilot as this photo was taken after its decommissioning. 1 - MRAPV

Acronym for Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle, a classification of vehicle designed to provide an armored transport that can withstand significant damage that many other transports cannot.

2 - FOB

Acronym for Foward Operating Base, a foward position intended to be used as a logistical facility, defense and housing for extended periods of time.

A good chunk of our vehicles are in full functional order, as of now you can't unfortantley see any vehicles in action due to strict restrictions by our insurance but we are working towards being able to run them. If anything changes I'll update on my blog! :D

Leopard 1A5DK presses through Bosnia, differing from the standard 1A5 as it retains a welded turret. It further mounts a thermal sleeve & muzzle refference collimator¹.

1 - Muzzle reference collimator

Used to measure bending of a tank or artillery gun's cannon, using the collimator it assists in adjusting the guns electronic systems to be much more accurate.
