i don't think i would want to live with my family long term (for a lot of reasons but especially considering where my parents live now, it's very nice but better for a holiday) but it was really nice being in their house and them being like happy to have me around and doing things with me. all my friends here i've known for 3 years max (though with most it's more like a year) so it was just really nice being around people who've known me my whole life. very grounding.
