Had another idea for Mr. Tinker post sonic 3

Tinker has no memories, but can feel that something, someone, is missing from his life. There is a certain person shaped hole that is just punched out of his routine and it is miserable.

Everyone morning he wakes up and goes about his life feeling like something is wrong, until he stops by a little coffee shop in Green Hills, Montana and the barista almost leaps over the counter to greet him.

He doesn’t know this man, but something about him just feels so right

soulmate au where you can pass through other people like they're not there at all but your soulmate will always be solid

stone goes around people anyway #stealth but robotnik bulldozes through them since they're irrelevant and he has more important places to be

once stone starts working under robotnik, he always follows a step behind the doctor, and his reflexes make sure he always stops in time when robotnik suddenly stands still or takes an unexpected turn

robotnik gets used to walking around stone simply because stone doesn't allow himself to be walked through, so it takes months for them to realise that oh, you're always solid
