The Concert

Hayley was nearly late to her own set, as she was joking around with her long time friend and sound guy. But once she was reminded of the time, she quickly got into gear. She wore a white Ramones crop top along with some lightweight black harem pants. Her hair was up in a ponytail to avoid what she often called “the dreaded neck swamp”. As soon as the first note hit with her song “Curious”, she walked casually onstage, appearing just as it was her time to sing the lyrics. Hayley searched the crowd and was amazed at the amount of faces she recognized. She waved to her good friends, pointing to them as she sang the lyrics, “I’m just curious, is it serious?”. During her set, she performed eight songs, inviting members of the crowd onstage with her. Until what should’ve been her final song, “What I Need” played and Kehlani joined her onstage putting on a hell of a show. The two danced and sang onstage with almost endless chemistry. As the track ended, and the two said their “Thank yous” and began to walk off stage. However, “Umbrella” by Rhianna began playing on the track. Hayley quickly found Tom in the crowd. She then spoke, grinning into her microphone, “This ones for my good friend, Tom motherfuckin’ Holland.” Kehlani joined her on the track, mimicking some of the iconic moves from Tom’s performance on Lip Sync Battles, not taking any of it seriously. Halfway through the song, Hayley’s bodyguard escorted Tom onstage with the girls . Just before “Gonna let the rain pour”, Hayley tightly shut her eyes as Kehlani threw a bucket of water on the woman. The set was a huge success and the crowd went wild as the three bowed, their arms looped, and exited the stage out of breath, in fits of laughter.
