i got both while trying to get Banri and suddenly discovered that not only they both have shirts partially unbuttoned but also Banri's is unbuttoned more because he can't lose to Hyodo, can he?

based on Hisoka's phrase for Sakuya's birthday. it's a well deserved rest under a cute blanket

a quick and silly sketch. Mostly done to see how well this certain set of markers could work for drawing make-up.

last hours of winter, i'm still on time...!

honestly, these look pretty bad here :p they're definitely better irl, but i gave up on taking normal pictures <<

anyway, yay for the entire winter troupe! this time they all get some nice plushies + more silver ornaments for the birthday series^^

the winter's not over, so that means i fulfilled my dream of drawing Itaru and Citron at a kotatsu before spring starts. yay!

Both of them praised kotatsu in various event flairs during winter, so i figured they gotta relax there together sometimes

I swear i wanted to do it in the old year, but a bunch of stuff happened and i only finished this wall of text now.

Anyway! i didn't want to do this in the original post, but i thought i'd list the cards i referenced in these drawings. it took a lot of time to arrange it and most of my brain (and the entire fandom) is busy with the anniversary event... but maybe somebody will enjoy a bit of a background for these^^

(spoilers for a bunch of backstages just in case anyone hadn't gotten around to it but was going to read them)

for Banri i picked the good old pajamas thingy from the night walk event, because i love how it looks on him^^

the puzzle piece is from the backstage of his Mankai memory card, where Banri was assembling a puzzle together with some guys from mankai and that signified how his life has changed for the better since he joined the theatre... except the last piece went missing. Banri was all sad about it when suddenly Juza Hyodo walks into the room and immediately finds the piece. Happy end, one of my fave Banri backstages ever <3

Juza got an outfit from an old christmas card, mostly because he's very soft and huggable in it.

his backstage is called approximately "the day when all dangos disappeard from the town". There he's out for some seasonal dangos and finds that they're sold out in all the stores. After seeing Juza very upset and finding out the reason the others make him a ton of dangos. Happy ending 🍡

Taichi is sporting a cute suit from a card named "fall in <3". Dunno much about the event it's from, but Taichi looks cute in it ^^b

The can of soda on the drawing represents the old backstage where Taichi goes shopping with the director and gets tired of carrying the groceries on the way back, so she ends up buying them soda and pranking Taichi a bit by pretending that she shook the soda can. I think it's from the about to bloom original sr card, but don't quote me on that :p

Azami's clothes are his high school uniform, because i think he looks adorable in it^^

As for the story, it references a backstage in which Ichiro teaches Azami his old party trick: balancing a ball on an umbrella. Thusly an incomprehensible umbrella/ball pic on the drawing.

Omi is wearing the outfit from starry sky(? i'm reeeeally not sure that's the right name) tryouts.

His backstage comes from a fairly recent event and has Omi try out making a terrarium. He's told later that he should name it, and while he struggles to pick a name, a bunch of other people name it and get attached to it to the point where Omi makes it everyone's terrarium. I included the unbloomed card so that you could actually see the thing^^

Sakyo is just wearing his winter outfit. Maybe not as interesting as some other cards, but it just really suits him imo. (illustrated by 5th anniv card bc i don't have any other card of him wearing it)

His special object there is a deck of cards, which references a backstage called long-legged Sakyo! In it a bunch of people are playing a game where you have to name some animal-like things and call their name each time they're drawn from the deck to score points. Itaru names one of them long-legged Sakyo, and the rest goes about as well as you can imagine^^

these pieces are all a collection of random stuff: a non-base outfit i like & a shiny little object symbolising a backstage i like for each of them.

remember how a bit over a week ago i said i'd post autumn birthday series bh Hisoka's bday? (it's better if you don't)

so just when i thought i'd finish the last bits for Sakyo the event dropped with Tenma! Tasuku!! and Banri!!! in the prettiest winter outfits. and long story short, the first two didn't come home and i knew i just had to grind for Banri.

and that's what i'm doing :p autumn complete and edited, so i'll do the post tomorrow; now is christmas sweater Banri time🎁

with the intense amount of birthdays in my family in november i didn't have much time to think about my blog, but i have been drawing the autumn birthday series and some other stuff... it's not quite ready, but i should be able to finish the last bits by Hisoka's bday (i think)
