Personality: A lot of people's first impression of me is very mysterious and serious, even mean in some cases. But when people actually speak to me they are shocked to find out I'm way more approachable then they assumed. When I get closer to someone as a friend my excitement and humor shows the most; I love to mess with my friends. I can be quite sarcastic and it shows both in my dry humor or when I talk back to people, so it can be both negative and positive. I can be quite the trouble stirer but it's always a response to someone being disrespectful first. I have a strong sense of justice and it can get me fired up if I don't relax fast enough.

Likes: Adventure, even small things like doing a new hairstyle or checking out a new bakery, helps keep things fresh for me and makes me satisfied. Being home and relaxing, especially when my social battery is low and I'm tired. Being creative and doing things like drawing or writing. I'm a creative at heart and always admire art/nature or look at things through a creative lens. I also love animals and find them so cute; it breaks my heart when I see a stray so I always feed them and help them in ways I can.

Dislikes: I dislike people who don't treat others with base level respect and empathy, it's the complete opposite of me. I'm an empath but because of bad experiences with said people I've had to learn to not be a doormat while still being compassionate, which then leads me to being fired up when I see injustice towards others or feel injustice for myself.

Love language: For both giving and recieving, my love languages are physical touch and quality time. Even platonically I'm very physically affectionate loving to hug my friends, but I'll be fine if my friends aren't as physically affectionate with me. Romantically it's different, I would need someone who's as physically affectionate as me able to reciprocate, if not it would lead me to overthink and get sad. Despite this I would still need breaks or else I'll get too overwhelmed and would be worried about being too clingy, but the distance helps make my affection and sweetness grow. I can also get a little more childish around my romantic partner.

“Didn’t New Year’s already happen?” Billy asks, skeptically.

“No,” Marcus says, looking him in the eye and failing to elaborate.

“Oh,” Billy says, awkwardly.

Marcus beams at him and nods. “So, do you want to come over, or not?”

“Okay,” Billy agrees instantly, following Marcus home, the same route they take more days than not these days, chatting about school, and books, and that one cat that seems to live at three or four houses on the same street, and not, at any point, explaining to Billy why New Year’s is happening in February.

“Oh, by the way,” Marcus says, pulling a sticker out of his pocket and slapping it on Billy’s shirt, “since you’re not wearing red.”

“Was I supposed to wear red?” Billy asks, anxiously, pulling his shirt out a little to look at the design, a little red diamond with stylized gold lettering on it. “You didn’t tell me – I didn’t know I was – should I change?” It occurs to Billy that Marcus is dressed in all red, actually, although he didn’t notice the color of the corduroys or hoodie, because they’re just, well, they are bright red, and maybe he should have?

“Do you like tigers?” Marcus asks, pulling Billy inside.

Billy startles, trying not to look guilty, even though he’s sure that’s not what Marcus means, because he’s not sure what Marcus does mean, except he thinks it has something to do with the basket full of assorted plush tigers sitting by the window. All vaguely cartoony, all very soft and cute. “Of…of course? I do?”

“You can have one, or a couple, if you want,” Marcus says, gesturing at the pile of them. “My cousin runs a bakery and they wanted to do a New Year’s party, but they weren’t sure exactly on the theme, so they ordered a bunch of samples to see what stuff went best with each other, and then they sent all the leftovers to us, which is, I guess, a bunch of rejects, technically, but I do like tigers, so it’s not all bad.”

“Running a bakery sounds confusing,” Billy says, for lack of anything better to add.

“You’re telling me,” Marcus agrees. “We also have a bunch of donuts in all the zodiac designs, if you’re hungry.”

Billy perks up at that, except that, when he gets to the donuts, they’re all very detailed, and has trouble picking one out. And then he has trouble bringing himself to eat it, because it’s got a snake grinning at him, except in a cute way, not a freaky way, but then the cuteness is itself a little freaky on, you know, food. “Are these rejects, too?”

“Practice runs, I think,” Marcus says, munching on his own donut. “That’s why the designs are different sizes, I guess. I’m no good at frosting donuts.”

“Me either,” Billy agrees, emphatically, thinking about trying to just frost cupcakes for the bakesale, and how much harder it would be with a hole in the middle. “I like the idea of ‘you can be anything’ except I really don’t think I could be a chef.”

“Right?” Marcus says, “but you have to go to a whole special school for that and everything. I would much rather be a marine biologist.”

“You don’t have to go to school for that?” Billy, who has never thought of marine biology farther than watching a dozen documentaries about dolphins, asks.

“Yeah, but, like, a normal school,” Marcus says. “But, then, I don’t know, animal behavior is a whole big thing, so maybe you end up baking anyway.”

“I would love to teach dolphins to bake,” Billy says, wistfully.

Marcus gives him that familiar look, and says, “anyway, you’re the guest, so what game do you want to play?”

Billy, still hesitant to ask what kind of event, exactly, this is, says, hesitantly, “what kind of games are there?”

“I don’t know, we’ve got Monopoly – don’t pick Monopoly – and like, Risk, oh, hey, Hungry Hungry Hippos! I thought I lost that one,” Marcus says, from inside the closet. Billy chances peeking around to see all sorts of board games and sports equipment shoved in haphazardly, with what looks like probably party decorations at the bottom, and some boots. “We have cards, too, if you’d rather play a card game, I just have to find them,” Marcus continues, holding the stack up with one hand and gesturing with the other.

“Do you have Settlers of Catan?” Billy asks, curiously.

“Yeah,” Marcus agrees, “but you won’t be able to convince my parents to play it.”

“Do you have Cards Against Humanity?” Billy asks, trying to get his eyes to focus on any one thing in the overfull closet.

“Billy,” Marcus says, very slowly, “I love you, bro, but if you say anything fucked up in front of my parents I will never talk to you again. And by that I mean my parents will never let me talk to you again. Because they’ll think you’re like. A drug dealer trying to get me to join a gang of car thieves or whatever.”

“Do drug dealers normally steal cars?” asks Billy, because, in his experience, it tends to mostly be distinct groups of people, but it’s also not most of the people he interacts with in either case, so he could be wrong.

“According to my parents, constantly,” Marcus says, with a shrug. “They also worry that I’m going to get dragged into fish trafficking, so.”

“Because of the marine biology,” Billy says, sagely.

Marcus glances at him, tilts his head, and says, “oh. I never thought of that. Probably.”

“I know all about tropical fish,” Billy says. “I have one.”

“Yeah, I know, I’ve met Batman,” Marcus says, reaching over a pile of games and smacking his hand around a few times, dragging a box out. “You promise you’re not going to say anything super fucked up?”

“Cross my heart,” Billy agrees, nodding. “There’s only so much bad stuff in the regular version without all the weird stuff, anyway.”

Marcus blinks at him and Billy struggles not to squirm under that gaze as he says, “remind me to look at your booster packs the next time I’m at your house.”

Billy nods happily, wishing he had grabbed one of the tigers so he could hide behind it just at the moment. “So, what’s for dinner?”

“Noodles, obv,” Marcus says, distractedly, checking to make sure the contents of the box are what he expects them to be. “And tang yuan for dessert. They’re – you know what, never mind. You’ll like them.”

“Okay,” Billy, who has rarely encountered food he doesn’t at least tolerate, says, gamely, nodding and not trying to parse any of it.

“Oh,” says Marcus, waving a hand in the vague direction of the front door, “and that’s my parents now. Act like you’re not confused.”

Billy’s eyes widen at this proclamation, unsure if it’s a command he can follow.

“Billy!” says Marcus’s dad, clapping the boy on the shoulders, “are you excited for your lucky envelope?”

“Yes,” Billy agrees, at a slight nod from Marcus, who gives him a thumbs up.

With surprising ceremony, Marcus’s dad hands over the envelope, sparkling and covered in multicolored (if overwhelmingly red) designs, and Billy opens it with, not quite trepidation, but something slightly warier than the excitement he’s been told to feel. It’s a little lumpy in the middle, but doesn’t weigh much.

Billy shakes it out carefully, holding out his hand, and a small enameled tiger keychain falls into his palm, shining up at him. Pleased, he grins up at the adults, and holds it up to show Marcus. “Thanks, Mr. Sun!” Marcus gestures vaguely at the envelope again, and Billy looks inside to find a crisply folded twenty. “Ooh, money,” he says, in what is, if Marcus’s expression is anything to go by, something a little too close to awe.

“Just,” Marcus says, shoving what isn’t quite a Tootsie Roll into his hand. “Eat a candy and go set the table.”

Billy salutes Marcus, tucking the envelope into his pocket, and attaching his new keychain to his keys on the way to the dining room. When Marcus’s mom next asks him a question, he’s forced to simply nod, chewing furiously.

Marcus pats him on the back fondly. “Happy New Year.”

Kwami Sitting- Alya and the Kwamis

Alrighty, major spoilers from Gang of Secrets! Like, major.

But yeah, I've been having feels for that entire episode and because there was the reveal, it means kwami sitting! So here's some kwami content featuring platonic alyanette. Mentions of food.

Ftr, I made the zodiac kwamis all use they/them pronouns, though I don't think it ended up being too relevant in this fic. The main ones though do have genders.

It had only been a day since Marinette had revealed her identity, and Alya liked to think that she was taking the news well. After all, that was Ladybug, the superhero that she'd wanted to unmask for so long, until she realized that it would hurt more than help. She still couldn't believe that she also happened to be her best friend.

But it made so much sense though. Both Marinette and Ladybug were strong, courageous, intelligent, and incredibly good friends. It explained why Marinette was always late to class or making excuses.

It also explained why she looked so broken. Because she wasn't just Ladybug, the only person who could undo the damage caused by Shadowmoth. She was also the Guardian of the Miraculous. She was someone who hated lies, but had to lie in order to keep everyone safe.

But she told her secret to Alya, and Alya vowed to help ease the burden that she was carrying.

"See this?" Marinette pointed to the large pink box, before it expanded to show dozens of coloured bottles. "This is where I keep the miracle box. And this is how I open it."

She then pressed down on a bunch of the bottles, before a drawer opened.

"Woah!" Alya gasped, before remembering that Marinette had been defensive about the dollhouse. "It took you less than a day to make that?"

"Uh... yes?"

"That's so cool!"

"Focus, Alya." She picked up the miracle box. "Each of the miraculous are stored in here, but the kwamis don't have to stay inside of it. And-"

She was interrupted by both her and Alya's phone buzzing. There was a notification about an akuma attack.

"You go, I'll look after the box! I'll also cover for you in case your parents come!" Alya told her, and she nodded.

Marinette transformed- woah it looked so cool!- and made her way to the roof. But before she left, she turned back to face Alya.

"If things get dangerous, I might have to come for one of the miraculous. Keep your phone in case I need to text you."

"Got it! I won't let you down, Marinette!"

Even though she would be missing out on a chance to film for the Ladyblog, this was an opportunity to properly meet the kwamis! She'd seen glimpses of them before, but her priority had been comforting Marinette over her curiosity. But now she actually had the chance to meet them all.

"Alright!" She called out. "You're all under my watch now! Can you like up so I can figure out who is who?"

She knew about the main miraculous, and some of the others, but she wasn't prepared to see just how many kwamis there were. She only recognized four. Trixx, Tikki, Wayzz and the bee whose name she didn't know. Others looked vaguely familiar, like the snake, horse and dragon. But she didn't know there was one for the pig, rooster, tiger (wait were they for the zodiac?).

"Ooh, you're Alya, right!" The pig kwami asked. "I'm Daizzi! It'd be really cool if you were my holder!"

"I told you, she's already taken!" Trixx replied.

Alya looked at the two kwamis. Were they fighting over her? It took all of her willpower to not scream, only because she didn't want Tom and Sabine to hear and get concerned. Then she'd have to explain why she was screaming, and Marinette's sudden absence. Yeah, she definitely should not do that.

"I'm very flattered that you'd like me as your holder, Daizzi" she said instead. "But as Trixx said, I'm taken. I like being Rena Rouge."

The other kwamis began to introduce themselves, and a brief summary of their powers. There was so much to take in and she wished she could talk to someone else about it, but knew that she couldn't, and wouldn't ever betray Marinette's trust like that.

After that, she sat on the bed and pulled out her phone. The kwamis were insanely old, so they'd probably be well behaved, and she could start writing down notes for her next Ladyblog article.

Or well, that's what she thought. Apparently all those years of living meant nothing, because as soon as she got distracted, she heard something fall to the floor.

It was a good thing that Alya had two devious sisters that had a tendency to cause destruction, otherwise she'd be fuming.

But because she had the experience, all she did was casually look back at her phone as if nothing had happened.

"Oh," she began, faking sweetness into her voice. "I was planning on getting you all some snacks, but I guess not."

The twins were starting to grow old enough to not fall for the tactic, but she suspected that the kwamis would. As expected, they turned towards her with wide eyes and sad expressions. They whispered amongst each other, before they moved to start cleaning up.

Trixx seemed to be participating half-heartedly- he probably knew what she was trying to accomplish, he was perceptive like that.

"Okay, what are your favourite snacks?"

She already knew that Trixx liked fruit, but she was not prepared for the variety of foods listed. Pollen liked peppers, Wayzz liked drinking tea, and there was a lot.

"Okay, I can't say that I'll be able to get food for all of you, but I'll do my best. Wayzz, I'm leaving you in charge."

She figured that since Wayzz was the previous guardian's kwami, he would be the wisest.

Alya took a deep breath, then tip toed down the stairs. The bakery wouldn't have everything, but taking a large variety of stuff would be weird. If it was just sweets, it'd be fine. But to take fruits and crackers and popcorn? She had to sneak the food back upstairs.

She looked into the kitchen and didn't see anyone.

"I haven't seen you in such a long time!" Sabine said from the front. "How have you been?"

Perfect! While they're distracted with the customer, I can get what I need.

Surprisingly, the kitchen raid went better than she'd expected. She managed to find even more food, and was able to carry it upstairs with ease. When she opened the trapdoor, the kwamis all beamed.

There was also no damage, fortunately.

"Before you eat," she said, chanelling all her authority into her tone. "I'm going to set up what we humans call a movie. Let's watch the Ladybug and Chat Noir movie."

It was easy to access it, since she already bought it online with an account. She got comfortable then started the movie.

The kwamis were fixated on the movie, impressed with the animation and the capabilities of the computer. However, there was a slight problem.

"How did they get the idea of the miraculous so wrong?" Baark asked.

"Remember, humans don't know that we exist. They have very little to work with," Wayzz answered.

Except that the others ignored him, and started critiquing the movie even more. Alya groaned. She was never going to be able to enjoy the movie again without thinking of the conversation going on around her.

There were footsteps on the roof, and then the trapdoor opened. Alya didn't look back at Marinette, even when she detransformed.

"Oh wow, you're good at this," Marinette remarked.

Alya only hummed as a response, and reached for the last of the popcorn. "I like stole a crap ton of food from the kitchen though. Hope you don't mind."

"Are you kidding me? I haven't seen them sit still in ever!"

Alya felt arms wrap around her from behind, and she smiled. "I told you. If your load gets too heavy, I'll carry it with you. Even if it's by doing something as simple as babysitting these cute kwamis."

"Thank you Alya, thank you! I don't know what'd I'd do without you."

"I love you too Marinette."

Ok, a lot happened while I was away! First, new pfp! It's so cute! Ah, I didn't realise. I just re-watched Furious Fu and Su-Han said something like, "Get into your yin-yang pairs and go in the box, kwamis." But you probably know more than me; I trust you! Checking the last ask I sent you answered to make sure I reply to everything... Freeze Jay is such a great name! I love it, and he would too! 1. Anon. Anon. Anon look at me. You are one of my favorite people in the fandom.

2. Look I'm not really one for design so when I had an idea for a Blue Jay Miraculous and how to integrate that bluejay look into the character's design already I wasn't gonna look a gift horse in the mouth.

3. So the exact line that Su-Han says -- and you're correct, I did miss this -- is, "That's enough! Kwamis, get in ying-yang patterns and back inside the box!"

So as I understand it, which I may be wrong, but there's three layers to the Chinese Miracle Box. The yin-yang layer -- Ladybug and Chat Noir. The Chinese Zodiac layer -- the Zodiac kwamis. And most subtly, the wuxing layer (sometimes wu xing), which is the five other Miraculous: Bee, Fox, Turtle, Peacock, Butterfly. The wuxing is the Chinese elemental system, and it also correlates to a bunch of other stuff: planets, seasons, etc. But there are 5 elements in the wuxing: water, fire, earth, metal, wood. (I don't think I got those in the right order.)

Now, there's a lot of criticism to be had over this and I'm not doing that criticism right now; there are smarter people I can reblog from who have done that. But as I understand it, the zodiac animals are all associated with both an element of the wuxing and either Yin or Yang. There are diagrams but I don't totally understand it and I'm not gonna spread something that might be wrong.

So Plagg and Tikki are automatically paired, and then the kwamis are all paired as well because there's 2 zodiac animals* associated with each element and they're paired off yin-yang.

*I believe that there's 4 zodiac animals associated with earth? I might be wrong.

All this is to say, I think the Fox, Turtle, Bee, Peacock, and Butterfly are the exception to this rule. Again, this maybe wasn't handled the most gracefully within the show, so it's maybe not actually set up that way within the show. But, as I understand it, that's how it theoretically should be if we fill in the gaps.

(Again, this is all research I did for a fic I'm writing, and most of it didn't get used, but it's important within the fic that the Turtle Miraculous holder does not have a partner.)

Freeze Jay's power, I think, would be almost a truth serum against a person: anything they say, they have to be honest about. Based on a quick google search, bluejays symbolize both communication and deceit; they symbolize the need to communicate better. It also feels like a very Snart power to have; very tricky, but balances well with him because he has to focus more on truth than being slippery.

Mick, on the other hand, is already rather blunt and forthcoming, not eloquent at all, while the all knowing Interwebs says that cardinals symbolize friendship. I feel like for him what might be better is a telepathy power, where he can link to one other specific person. Still lots of room for him to grow within that power, especially under a plan that would necessitate him working with someone he doesn't like very much or telepathically bonding with who they're fighting against.

(Why can I only come up with decent Miraculous powers when I'm writing a niche crossover? Why am I like this?)

To be honest I have no idea what Cardinal!Mick would look like, or what his name would be, so I would not hold my breath on that.

So starting off with.. I was born on August 22! Which mens Im a Leo. I definitely dont go with all the 'Zodiac = Personality' thing but like seeing that Leo's are usually the snobby, attention seeking (Toxic vers) and etc.. Makes me feel bad about my sign.

Im an INFP! And my hobbies are usually drawing and writing! I love both and do it most of the time!

I daydream a lot and usually get pretty good ideas when doing so! Im not a verky skilled writer but Im learning. I also do like to roleplay!

Im 5'7 (Not comfortable with adding my weight/nationality just yet)

Im pretty much a Pansexual/Panromantic(?) tomboy. Im kinda still exploring my gender but I do have a feeling I might be demisexual, though Im not too sure yet.

As a tomboy I usually get picked on because of it. It doesnt help more that Im quite chubby. Im basically a tomboy who fights back but could cry.

I am pretty clumsy and I could forget a task that was just given to me in like a second sometimes. I absolutely LOVE to laugh! Its basically my passion now. Make me laugh and I would enjoy your company. Im talking every humor. Dark humor, uh.. Self depricating humor, ironic humor, SARCASTIC HUMOR.. Even the worst jokes on the planet! Id laugh! I even laughed at my own joke. It didnt even make sense or even pass as one but I laughed too hard at it. Though at times, I csn be very serious.

On times when Im serious, I get angry. I try to push it away but I would always somehow get angry and act like a kid on a tantrum but right after I get heartbroken and I feel like such a jerk. I also sometimes get overdramatic and I also feel like such a jerk. So prolly after all that I stay blank infront of new people and rub everything on jokes. Because laughing makes all the bad thoughts go away!

I think Im a pretty insecure, anxiety-filled person. Im a bit smug and funny-annoying to some friends but to new people? Then Ill be a nervous wreck on trying not to embarass myself and become an anxiety filled person.

I absolutely ADORE animals. They are all so cute! Frogs and lizards are pretty good but let them stay 10 ft away from me. They are cute but just- I cant bare to let them touch me. Even being scared of these animals I still love iguanas- huh- Maybe a specific type of lizard hurts my soul. The gecko-

Even after BOTH of those animals I love everything else! My fvorites are Birds, Snakes, turtles and dogs! Every animal technically.

Though out of all of these. My favorite experiences were my snake memories! Id always touch or scratch(in a softy kinda way) them when I see one! They are just so cute!

I am pretty good at baking! I bake cookies and brownies and so on. I still yet to explore the different recipes and stuff out there! Maybe its a hobby I guess? Though now I dont do it more often.

I can very much speak in fluent sarcasm when I feel like Im bored, youre too annoying or Im upset. Mostly 1 or 2. I can also smell bullshit from a mile away- though I would actually go on with it just for the ride and gig of what might happen next... Then double cross them by creating an even bigger bullshit and drop it on them. Basically the " When life hits you hard then HIT IT BACK! HARDER!"

So for my friends... They arent ... That... Very.. Bright.. I wouldnt say its kinda.. Depricting.. Its cause they kinda are and they say it anyways.. So basically they are ALL squareheads. But they could be so adorable and kind though. Yet so chaotic. I can go for chaotic! I can be the center of chaotic in our group.

Hello, this is actually my first time doing something like this so I’m super nervous but,,,

My pronouns are she/her or they/them I like both boys and girls although I do pin more to girls than boys. My love language is, I do enjoy physical touch only with people that I’ve known for a long time, people I’ve just met makes me to get shy and reserve, but I love people even though I spend most of my time indoors.

Apparently, she felt the same way as she offered her phone number to you. You accepted and walked away, thinking about how you just befriended some random person on the street.

You and her are attached at the hip after that day. You two are constantly at each others place. It's hard to catch one without the other.

Kyoka teases you for being a crybaby but will kill anyone else who tries to do it on the spot. No hesitation. If you want her to stop she'll stop. She won't say it out loud but your innocence gives her the urge to protect you even though she knows you can defend yourself. Reminds you everyday about how much she appreciates you since your advice mom personality has helped her through a lot.

She helps you be less hard on yourself, forcing you to take small breaks with her and to worry less. Kyoka knows you won't openly tell her your problems but she's very good at guessing what's wrong. She's very patient with you and helps build up your confidence.

I’d say my MBTI type is pretty accurate and while I don’t have many of the bitchy traits often assigned to Scorpios, I do have some of the passion towards things I care about and a generally jealous and stubborn personality.

Answer: Stubbornness and some jealousy (that is always internalized) are my worst traits. I lack self-esteem and confidence and get anxious in new situations. Once I am around people I trust I blossom open and become more giggly (lame jokes and such) my humor is about 50% puns and 50% sarcasm. I am quick-witted with ‘mean’ remarks but I will never intend to offend or cause harm to anyone. Tough exterior comes with a soft interior. I tend to overthink and worry a lot and will usually put a friend’s needs above mine. I often have people coming to me for advice or to help them calm down. I will be honest in the softest way possible, even if the things I need to say aren’t necessarily nice. I want my friends to flourish. I get easily distracted by cute things and can really enjoy beautiful sights, nice food, good company… i am heavily introverted but I do need the handful of people I care about to flourish myself.

Answer: anything creative: reading and writing, drawing (although I’m terrible at it), pixel art. Singing, making music, playing instruments, DIYing things. I am super heavily interested in true crime, cases, and the psychology of murderers and such. I tend to get overexcited talking about such cases, never celebrating violence, but just being very fascinated by what a human brain can do. I also just really love riddles, mysteries, and solving them.

I’d love to become a teacher or a professional dog trainer. I love animals more than I love people and if I could work with dogs every day of my life that’d be amazing. An unrealistic goal would be to sing for a living, or do musicals. But I don’t think that’s ever gonna happen.

Answer: food! Mainly Asian dishes (from all of Asia) and pastas. I love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen and trying out new things to taste. I’m vegetarian but not vegan and I will try everything that’s not meat or fish at least once! I love all kinds of animals, not only your average pets. I will also go pet the cows, and in the zoo you’ll have to drag me away by my ankles from the reptilians and the aquarium. I am fascinated by them and I love them. I love plants and flowers, and if you’d let me be, Id have a small jungle in my house with all kinds of plants and animals. I just love taking care of them, talking to them…

I dislike arrogant people, people who are rude against serving staff. I dislike impoliteness and laziness in the sense that other people are suffering from your lack of work. If I am in a group project I will never procrastinate because it can drag the whole group down, it’s okay to be lazy if it only impacts yourself.

I am afraid of loneliness and the fact that everyone I know just pretends to like me while talking behind my back and secretly hating me. I am not easily startled by monsters, animals, and such, but I do get a little paranoid if I have to walk in the street in the middle of the night. (a side effect from the true-crime consumption) 

Answer: I think I added most things in the other walls of text (sorry they are so long). But when it comes to relationship and goals around that there are these things that I think are most important: 

Love language is mostly quality time and words of affirmation, and that’s what I like too, as well as soft PDA and affections: cuddles, kisses, hand holding… I like spending time together, and even more so I like actually doing things together: sharing hobbies, going out, dates, dinners, walks, adventures, travels… all the things! :hellmo:

Despite her being asleep a lot of the time, Dorothy notices more than she lets on. She can see straight through the front someone is putting up and see what they are really feeling. Drago probably already knows a bunch of the main holidays celebrated in the USA, as well as why they were created and still celebrated. With that being said, I don’t think Drago would celebrate any of them, well, aside from Halloween because ‘tis the season to be spooky scary. If anything, he’d be okay with Halloween. despise Christmas and the 4th of July. and not care about the rest.

Like I just said, Drago would like Halloween because of it’s scary aesthetic and its “praising“ amongst monsters and darkness. He��d hate Christmas because of all the mushy, heartfelt, family stuff. Kindness and compassion for no reason other than just because? Pathetic! Weak! For the 4th of July, and really any holiday like it, Drago doesn’t like it because it celebrates independence of humans. I guess you could also put Valentine’s Day under the “hated holidays“ list, but I think Drago would find that one more annoying than anger inducing.

Now, if Drago had a human s/o, they’d probably get him involved with some of them. Those like Valentines Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc are really about being with family and expressing their affection/thankfulness to one another. Yeah, it all has human origins, but it’s also about in general love. Dude’s a grinch because he never felt loved, and therefore probably resents emotional holidays. However, since he is now with someone who absolutely ADORES him, he may start seeing it in a better light, even if it’s for slight selfish reasons on the surface (”Yes! Rain your gifts upon me!”). In addition, I don’t think Drago would be too warm towards strangers and relatives during these holidays even if he understands their meanings now, but he would warm with the s/o for obvious (attachment) reasons. Oh to imagine cuddling Drago under a warm blanket, drinking hot cocoa, watching a silly movie together, and then plopping a little Santa hat on his grumpy face. Imagine his surprise when you give him so many kisses for being so cute with that hat on~ *ahem* Anyways, insert every holiday movie classic with a person hating the holidays at first, but then finally shown the love they never knew, and then they finally understand the true meaning of compassion and family, and boom, ya got Drago’s “appreciating the holidays“ arc.

The next set of holidays would be those that fall under Easter, Saint Patrick’s Day, 4th of July, Halloween, etc. I’m not sure how most people view these holidays, but I look at them as “Fun Activities“ holidays. So, of course Drago would be from neutral to against for most of them for their origins or the “silly, pointless stuff“ one does, but again, once the s/o celebrates these holidays with/in front of him, he’d be a little more open with them. For example, Easter. Easter’s origins is about the resurrection of Christ, and for some reason you go on an egg hunt for goodies and prizes. Yeah, sounds dumb, BUT it could be some innocent fun if done right. The whole activity is to search for metaphorical/literal treats, whether it be chocolate, little toys, stuff you could actual use (stamps, bookmarks, jewelry, etc), etc. It’s all a treasure hunt, and really just about every creature that targets gaining happiness and satisfaction harbors curiosity. Drago would think it’s stupid, but just wait and see what his reaction(s) would be if you hid some stuff around the house, putting some riddled notes with a small piece of chocolate in every single one, and ultimately it leads to his Grande Surprise! He’ll want to resist it at first, but curiosity and greed will get the best of him, and if ya do it right, ya might get him like a cat looking for the scurrying mouse. Er, that last part might be romanticizing things, but still, so cuuute~

And just a quick note with the others, 4th of July is really about getting together, having a cook out and/or a camp out, and watching amazing fireworks to please that primordial brain part of ‘Ooo, shiny!’. Saint Patrick’s Day is purely about hanging out with friends, and Halloween is pretty obvious: Sweets and Scares all the way babyyyy.

Downside to all of this, Drago might catch on to it all being “required to socialize on these specific days,” when in reality nothing is stopping anyone with doing these same activities any other day of the year, well, aside from society telling you “no,“ and maybe needing a permit to do fireworks on any other day of the year, but my point still stands. You can hang out with people any day you want, give gifts whenever you want, and throw parties and gatherings whenever you want.

Holidays are specialized days to do these “extravagant“ activities all around the world and people will understand and be a part of it, but still, it feels all a little forced, ya know? It feels so much better to do something for someone on a whim than doing it because it’s a holiday, which makes it all feel required. Drago would definitely argue this at some point (and I totally agree with it with Christmas and kind of Halloween), but just actually have him Do the Things with you and be a part of something instead of being cut off all the time, he’ll warm up a little bit to it; just a little though. Maybe.

Reiterating, I personally believe people don’t like most holidays either because a lot of people who celebrate it are fucking annoying, or it’s because the former people never had a proper one, let alone had company and any good emotional attachments with anyone. So, what it comes down to is social animals need, well, to socializing, and the lack thereof drives one crazy, insane, and can and will cause mental problems. In a sense, holidays are important so social animals can get together for a yearly dose of needed chemicals to produce within them so they don’t break and become self destructive.

A-Anyways, that got a little deep. So, uh, what gifts would I give Drago... Well, he does come off as the type of person to not want anything unless they had some physical use to him, but there probably is some stuff he’d like just to have. So, I’d personally focus on getting him things he would use, like some cool-ass jackets and, if possible, some spellbooks so he can learn new magic stuffs. Ugh, I’m not good at giving gifts... The stuff that would make me feel like I gave him something worthwhile would be hand-made art pieces. I would LOVE to just... make things for him. A portrait of him, a sculpture of a fearsome Chinese dragon, a hand-made necklace, wood carved Chinese Zodiac animals, Bob Ross paintings of what his fantasy palace would look like, a hand knit blanket and/or sweater and gloves, etc. I never feel like “just buying something“ is ever good enough and I need to actually make something because that is the closest thing to the heart a gift can be. Going out and buying things, well, I guess imperial and Chinese looking things because of his heritage, aesthetic, and the suggested power Imperial China gives off.

But yeah, the best gifts would probably be things that he can actually use and its design or whatever is something that pleases him. So, uh, Chinese Dragon biker jacket, dawg. Maybe some finger less, fire resistant gloves or something.

𝓐𝓶𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓽 𝓸𝓯 𝓼𝓵𝓮𝓮𝓹: Normally around six to eight hours; because of health problems it’s significant less the last weeks, but I will carry on!

𝓛𝓾𝓬𝓴𝔂 𝓷𝓾𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻: 27! But I like every number with 7 in it ^^

𝓓𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶 𝓳𝓸𝓫: Hmm, hard question. I really like being a nursery school teacher, but maybe they are still other things I could try too? I don’t know, to be honest

𝓦𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓰: A black T-shirt with Pikachus all over it, dark red sweatpants with soft pink dots, mint green socks and yeah, some underwear. But this keeps secret ;)

𝓕𝓪𝓿𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓲𝓽𝓮 𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓰: It’s obvious, isn’t it? I’m kinda semi famous because of all the random ear worms people getting when they visit my page and all they see my favoutite line from Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men ^^ I have a bunch of other songs I love with my whole being, but this especially is encraved into my heart.

𝓕𝓪𝓿𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓲𝓽𝓮 𝓲𝓷𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓾𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽: Ehhh... Violins? To be honest, I don’t know much about instruments, but violins always bear this kinda nostalgic, sad sound for me

𝓐𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓽𝓲𝓬: Warm colours, especially Red in all it’s shades! I also like cute patterns and designs as well as delicate lines and softer colours

𝓕𝓪𝓿𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓲𝓽𝓮 𝓪𝓾𝓽𝓱𝓸𝓻: Another tricky question. First of all, Cornelia Funke, a fantastic german author. Markus Zusak’s books make me cry like a little baby every time I open them, and Neil Gaiman’s way of writing fantasy is just superb. Again, this is just a short list, I can’t really decide who I like the most ^^’

And for manga authors it’s definitly Hiromu Arakawa! Creating such a wholesome series like Fullmetal Alchemist means your way of writing is just as awesome as “normal” authors would be clarified. But Kaiu Shirai is almost on the top, too ;)

𝓕𝓪𝓿𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓲𝓽𝓮 𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓶𝓪𝓵 𝓷𝓸𝓲𝓼𝓮: Snickers and animals... not the best combination. But! I’m in love with the sound of horse hooves on various undergrounds! It’s such a calming sound, and it’s wonderful when the horse can walk free and in it’s own tempo. Maybe that’s why I can’t stop playing Breath of the Wild? I’m riding 24/7 in this game, maybe it’s because of the sound of the hooves?

𝓡𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓸𝓶: Hmm, I don’t quite know what you guys would like to hear? Well, I’m planning several fanfictions in my head since years, and if I could find my motivation to actually write them, I would be a way more happier person ^^ But I also fear of losing touch with the story after writing them, like I did with the ones I published. I’m feeling like a mother wanting to let go of her children but also being afraid of losing them on their way. Weird, right?

Hello Hera! I’m sorry that your matchup took so long. Writing has been taking a long time lately.

Who were you named after?: My maternal aunt (Kathy), middle name from my other maternal aunt.

Last time you cried?: (snorts) ...Okay... there’s this book that my toddler son has, called ‘Love You Forever’ - and the damn thing always makes me cry and I HATE it, lol. It’s basically a mom that watches her son grow up from a baby to an adult, and she rocks him to sleep his whole life saying, “ "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, As long as I'm living My baby you'll be." “. ...IT’S A MENACE. He asked me to read it to him the other day & I couldn’t say no, so my husband was kind of sympathetically laughing at me (not in a mean way) b/c I was definitely crying by the end. IT’S EVIL. 

Do you like your handwriting? Ehhh.... sometimes? When I CONCENTRATE on it, it’s fine. When I scribble something out in a hurry, I don’t love it so much (though it’s still a million more times legible than my husband’s ‘chicken-scratch’ handwriting, LOL).

What is your favorite lunch meat?: Roast beef. I don’t buy it often b/c it’s usually expensive, but a good roast beef deli meet? Oof.

Longest relationship?: The one I’m in w/ my husband. We’ve been together since 2008, married in 2011 (for those who hate math like me {lol}, that’s together for 12 years in August, married for 9 years in December).

What is your favorite kind of cereal?: Don’t really have a favorite, but I like Lucky Charms (I know, I’m a stereotype, LOL), Captain Crunch, one of the Post ones w/ cranberries in it (forget what it’s called), Honey Nut Cheerios, Frosted Flakes, Peanut Butter Crunch, and a bunch of others.

Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?: Right now my sneakers are the slip-on kind (though I really need to buy new ones sometime), but I have to untie my boots when I wear them b/c they have roller skate laces in them and they stay put (don’t move around a lot, which is what they’re supposed to do), so if I didn’t untie them I’d never be able to get them on/off, lol.

Do you think you’re strong willed?: Oh my GOD, yes. ...Almost to a fault, lol.  *XD

Favorite Ice Cream?: Don’t really have a favorite, but I tend to go for either Oreo, Cookie Dough, or chocolate & peanut butter.

What is the first thing you notice about a person?: Usually their eyes. I think I mention eyes a lot in my writing (again, almost to a fault, lol), but it’s b/c eyes are so expressive. ‘Eyes are the window to the soul’, as they say.

Football or baseball?: Neither - I’m really not a sports person. But if I HAD to choose one, I’d say baseball (Red Sox!).

Favorite donut?: Chocolate frosted donut with sprinkles (...yes, I like the sprinkles on it, I ‘donut’ know why. HA!!! .....I’ll show myself out. LOL)

Last thing you ate?: Chocolate-frosted Pop-Tarts, & currently, gradually drinking water flavored w/ store-brand caffeinated fruity drink mix (need this at work to keep me going b/c I don’t like coffee).

What are you listening to?: Nothing right now - quiet at work (I love when it’s peaceful at work... I don’t really get peace at home often, lol)

If you were a crayon, what color would you be?: Cerulean. ...Shut up, I like that color. (lol)

What is your favorite smell?: Don’t have one favorite... I love the smell of cookies/brownies baking, woodsmoke, cedar, Old Spice (my husband wears it, and yes - my grandfather actually DID wear it, lol!), freshly mowed lawn, mulch (I know that might sound weird, but it smells nice to me - earthy!), that smell that happens before it’s about to start raining (...I’m weird, I know lol)

Who was the last person you talked to on the phone?: Probably my husband... (thinks) ...well technically it was my boss, actually. He calls us every morning when we go in to work just to check-in (not in a condescending way, just to make sure we’re doing okay & to let us know if anything’s new).

Hair color?: Medium/honey blonde. (I’m not allowed to color it b/c of work, but I would love to try a funky color again, like pink or purple... or maybe rainbow! <3 )

Eye color?: Blue on the outside/edge, brownish-green on the inside/around the pupil (I have ‘central heterochromia’ - look it up, I’ve mentioned it on my blog before, lol) 

Favorite food to eat?: Don’t have one favorite, but I tend to go for pizza, Italian, or American food 

Scary movies or happy ending?: Happy ending. I know it’s lame of me, but if a movie doesn’t end happy it bother me.

The best advice you’ve ever had: Hmm... I guess just variations on being true to yourself. The people that matter the most will love you no matter what and will always be in your corner, even when you’re having a bad day. Don’t try to impress people that aren’t worth your time/don’t truly care about you - it’s not worth your time and energy. Find and be with people that make you happy, that accept you for who you truly are. Be the best person you can be, but also remember that everyone has ‘off’/bad days. You’re not perfect, you’re not meant to be perfect. Do what makes YOU happy (...assuming it doesn’t hurt anyone else, obviously, lol).

Answer: Chubby mermaid lol. Long curly hair almost all the way down my back. Red at the moment, but I’ve had all colors of the rainbow. Ears pierced multiple times and a septum ring whenever I leave the house. My general style is comfy alternative, loads of black, boots and ripped jeans but baggy shirts and sweaters. I don’t like drawing much attention to my chest because my boobs are a very prominent feature. Hourglass figure with extra minutes: so there’s boobs and ass but also a tummy and such. I have dimples when I laugh and a whole bunch of moles over my body. I like a killer liner and mascara but don’t necessary wear makeup every day. I like 4 tattoos and waiting for that fifth one.

I’d say my MBTI type is pretty accurate and while I don’t have many of the bitchy traits often assigned to Scorpios, I do have some of the passion towards things I care about and a generally jealous and stubborn personality.

Answer: Stubbornness and some jealousy (that is always internalized) are my worst traits. I lack self-esteem and confidence and get anxious in new situations. Once I am around people I trust I blossom open and become more giggly (lame jokes and such) my humor is about 50% puns and 50% sarcasm. I am quick-witted with ‘mean’ remarks but I will never intend to offend or cause harm to anyone. Tough exterior comes with a soft interior. I tend to overthink and worry a lot and will usually put a friend’s needs above mine. I often have people coming to me for advice or to help them calm down. I will be honest in the softest way possible, even if the things I need to say aren’t necessarily nice. I want my friends to flourish. I get easily distracted by cute things and can really enjoy beautiful sights, nice food, good company… i am heavily introverted but I do need the handful of people I care about to flourish myself. I accumulate facts and know loads of small things about a lot of things. I like adding in fun facts every now and then but sometimes I come across as a know-it-all and then I will get really self-conscious about it. I either talk up a storm nonstop or turn into myself and get really really quiet.

Answer: anything creative: reading and writing, drawing (although I’m terrible at it), pixel art. Singing, making music, playing instruments, DIYing things. I am quite good with makeup and wigs, and I cosplay but the sewing I still struggle with. I love acting and gaming as well although I don’t spend that much time on them. I am super heavily interested in true crime, cases, and the psychology of murderers and such. I tend to get overexcited talking about such cases, never celebrating violence, but just being very fascinated by what a human brain can do. I also just really love riddles, mysteries, and solving them. I’d love to become a teacher or a professional dog trainer. I love animals more than I love people and if I could work with dogs every day of my life that’d be amazing. An unrealistic goal would be to sing for a living, or do musicals. But I don’t think that’s ever gonna happen. 

Your favorites, likes, dislikes, pet peeves, fears.*

Answer: food! Mainly Asian dishes (from all of Asia) and pastas. I love cooking and experimenting in the kitchen and trying out new things to taste. I’m vegetarian but not vegan and I will try everything that’s not meat or fish at least once! I love all kinds of animals, not only your average pets. I will also go pet the cows, and in the zoo you’ll have to drag me away by my ankles from the reptilians and the aquarium. I am fascinated by them and I love them. I love plants and flowers, and if you’d let me be, Id have a small jungle in my house with all kinds of plants and animals. I just love taking care of them, talking to them… I dislike arrogant people, people who are rude against serving staff. I dislike impoliteness and laziness in the sense that other people are suffering from your lack of work. If I am in a group project I will never procrastinate because it can drag the whole group down, it’s okay to be lazy if it only impacts yourself. I am afraid of loneliness and the fact that everyone I know just pretends to like me while talking behind my back and secretly hating me. I am not easily startled by monsters, animals, and such, but I do get a little paranoid if I have to walk in the street in the middle of the night. (a side effect from the true-crime consumption)

Answer: I think I added most things in the other walls of text (sorry they are so long). But when it comes to relationship and goals around that there are these things that I think are most important: 

Patience, because I have some anxiety issues as well as fear of commitment. I will definitely need some reassurance. Also consent is the sexiest thing in the world, and that’s coming from an ace person. Honesty, liars are out. I have a lot of trouble trusting again once there has been a breach of trust. White lies for surprises and such is one thing, but any intentional lying in order to avoid confrontation is an absolute dealbreaker. 

Love language is mostly quality time and words of affirmation, and that’s what I like too, as well as soft PDA and affections: cuddles, kisses, hand holding… I like spending time together, and even more so I like actually doing things together: sharing hobbies, going out, dates, dinners, walks, adventures, travels… all the things! :hellmo:
