So
Okay so what if before the Kerberos mission, his last request was for Adam to take care of Keith? Like Keith knew Adam.
Y’all slept on the line where Shiro said: “The Garrison doesn’t want me to go on the mission. And neither does Adam.” And Keith didn’t ask who Adam was. He acted like he knew Adam. That would mean Keith knew about Shiro’s relationship with Adam. (hah sorry sheith stans)
That would also mean Adam knew about Keith Kogane too; the little kid who had discipline issues and an orphan, who his own boyfriend gave the little kid a second chance. So that would mean,
Adam would take care of Keith during the Kerberos mission.
He probably adviced Keith and all that during the Garrison days, trying to help him avoid fights and all that. Without Shiro, Keith wouldn’t last a month, tops. So I think Keith had enough when Iverson said something about Shiro and that got him expelled.
Adam would try to stop that. But remember when Shiro was in the office and promised that wouldn’t happen again. And the officer there was like mad and acting like if he did that again, he would be expelled. And Keith did that on a teacher.
Anyways, so back to the Adam and Keith story, that would mean Keith wouldn’t be alone when the ‘PILOT ERROR’ news was onscreen. He was probably watching television with Adam and the news showed about the crew who had gone missing.
Imagine Adam breaking down, and Keith too. The only person who cared for Keith and gave him a second chance and never ever gave up on him. Can you imagine Adam crying and Keith trying to stop his tears? Like that would be real angsty.
That would be why Keith lasted a lil bit longer in the Garrison. Keith had enough of Iverson which meant Iverson prolly talked about it some more before. And Adam had to stop Keith from fighting.
But can you imagine Adam’s face when the news headlines says about the four missing teenagers? A kid he had tried to raise for the sake of Shiro had gone missing. What would Shiro say?
So that concludes it. Some angst for the soul.
