I just looked through a few of the tags on this post and the amount of you trying to be that person for somebody else warms my heart. If you have someone like this in your life I’m so happy for you and I wish you all the best. If you don’t have someone like this then I promise you it’ll get better. Life may be difficult right now but someday you will be able to leave behind whomever or whatever is holding you back and live wholly as your authentic self.

And as for me, I’m currently still living with my dad and stepmum. My brother’s gone away traveling, but I’m doing okay. I’m out at school, my dad is working towards acceptance (though it’s a slow process), and I have an appointment with CAMHS (children and adolescents mental health service) so I am finally en route to being able to transition. When I made this post, and for a while afterwards, I was extremely suicidal. I felt like I would have to keep living as someone else forever. Life still isn’t perfect but it’s slowly improving and I finally feel like I’m able to live as myself.

Even if you can’t make big strides towards whatever goal you’re heading for, just staying alive is a step. Keep spreading love and kindness.

We live our life in phases and we just have to try to be the happiest we can be at any one time.
