Coming home hasn't been easy. I'm in a place where I have a roof over my head, but also a place where my parents aren't sure whether or not to instill rules because I'm 22 and an adult. I never realized how much I love my Delaware family. I look forward to the next time that I can see them again, and I talk to them constantly. I never realized what an impact college had on me. Sure, I enjoyed the classes, but I'm not going to remember every class. I'm going to remember my best friends and the memories that I've shared with them at UD. I'm looking forward to the next chapter in my life, and I hope that my friends continue to be in that chapter because they hold me together. I don't know where I would be without them.
I've learned in the past few months that you'll meet a lot of people on the journey we call life. However, the ones that you make an effort for and the ones that you want to see are also the people that are going to make a lasting impact on your life.
