What did you like about the lesson?
Since I think of myself as artistic, I was thrilled to learn that we would be doing an art lesson and actually creating art. I really appreciated the chance to let my creativity run wild and design a class that not only interests me but I think is entertaining for learners as well. Even after finishing the task, I've picked up a tonne of new tactics and strategies for designing art classes and effectively incorporating this updated knowledge into our lesson plan.
What in the lesson needs improvement?
In my opinion, the lesson we have designed may be a little too advanced for an art class and may need to be extended in order for us to write more details about the activities. Although it might be too time-consuming and complex for learners of this age and grade, the concept of having distinct workstations with various artworks might work. But one can never be too sure if the lesson will be effective or not until it is actually taught to a real-life grade 2 class.
Comment on the 2D artwork in the lesson. Is there anything on which they can improve?
To make our lesson better, we absolutely need to reflect and get feedback. If I were given the chance to present in front of our learners, I could use this experience to think back and improve the lesson.
What was your impression of the PowerPoint Presentation?
Our presentation is vibrant, intricate, and sure to catch anyone's attention.
Are you satisfied with the group’s cooperation: How can you encourage better collaboration between group members?
In all honesty, I am not entirely satisfied with the group’ cooperation. We didn’t set the expectations and responsibilities for each group member at the beginning the assignment to avoid misunderstandings. To encourage better collaboration between group members we must clearly state that each group member is expected to participate equally when we divide our assignment into manageable tasks and distribute them to each member of the group.
