The queer community is not a club. Queer is a descriptor, just like cis is for people who's gender matches their biological sex, trans for people who don't, etc. A queer person is someone whose gender, biological sex, romantic orientation, or sexuality does not align with the ones that we have been raised patriarchally to align with (boy/girl, male/female, date opposite gender, and be attracted to the opposite gender's bodies). If this applies to you, you are queer.
I've seen people, esp LGB-delete-the-T folks, saying that either they're not queer, they didn't choose to be in that community, or that they just don't want to be in the same community as trans people and others with gender-nonconforming identities. But the truth is, we're all in this together. You are queer. You don't see anybody of a particular racial group saying 'I'm not in this racial group's community' because they are, because they're of that racial group. You don't see just gay people saying that they aren't in the gay community, because they are, because they're gay.
We have a long history of having to fight each other's battles because all queer people want is recognition. To be able to live equally and fairly. What do you think will happen once extremists and radicals are done with trans people? You'll be next. They're never satisfied (unintentional Hamilton reference).
You're a queer person. You don't have to be active. You don't have to acknowledge it. But you have to accept it because if we don't all push back against those trying to erase the rest of us, we all disappear to those who want to submit future generations to yet another time where sodomy laws, institutional admittance for trans people, conversion camps, and so many more are accepted forms of 'treatment' for people just trying to be happy.
Also: I've seen people talk about how 'queer' shouldn't be used because it's a former slur, but queer used to be an actual word meaning "differing in some way from what is usual or normal (Merriam-Webster)," and it was adapted into a slur and has since been, I believe successfully, reclaimed, and now is an excellent descriptor and I believe should replace the basic LGBTQ+ acronym because instead of having to acknowledge as many as humanly possibly adding items that cause queerphobes to make jokes about the 'alphabet' parade, soup, community, etc, simply says "we don't align with what The Machine™️ wants." And I love that.

Idc what party you align with, I'm nonpartisan. It's if you disagree with me on who has what rights, autonomy, not killing people, checks and balances, seperation of state, etc. That makes-or-breaks things.

War is a hallmark of immature world leaders who don't know how to negotiate and enact in diplomacy. There is a difference between military defense and war. War is never justified from the account of the provoker.

Bertolt Brecht – "The worst illiterate is the political illiterate, he doesn’t hear, doesn’t speak, nor participates in the political events. He doesn’t know the cost of life, the price of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the medicine, all depends on political decisions. The political illiterate is so stupid that he is proud and swells his chest saying that he hates politics. The imbecile doesn’t know that, from his political ignorance is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and the worst thieves of all, the bad politician, corrupted and flunky of the national and multinational companies."

There is not a single situation where a Presidential administration which launches or supports the launch of military personnel, weaponry, or equipment without congressional approval should still be in our nation's capitol.
This is how world wars start.
I'm not sure what Trump's definition of peace is, but he and his entire administration will be remembered as the one which directly supported the military efforts of a genocidal nation and committing an act, without provocation, which is worthy of a declaration of war.
The rewards that will be reaped from a country committing an act of violence will always be percieved as having greater value than the lives that will be lost in the process.

One of the first rules in any confrontation is for attempts to de-escalate. Use of force is last on the list.
That is, if one is interested in resolution.

Co-founder of Ben and Jerry's got arrested at a Senate hearing for saying "Congress is killing kids in Gaza by buying bombs, and they're paying for it by kicking poor kids off medicaid in the US. They need to let food into Gaza." Which he continued to repeat throughout his arrest.

Have we ever considered that maybe since the current political climate has been saturated with polarization to force far right people into thinking that all liberals want socialism/communism (and also think socialism and communism are the same thing) and care more about diversity than merit while far left people care more and more about partisanship and think that all right people want fascism and to take rights away from everyone while centrists and moderates are left acting like pick me girls on a high horse with their mightier-then-thou moral codes who for some reason can't tell the difference between the two that MAYBE personalities from before the exposure of this oversaturation of polarization can't fit into the Neat Little Boxes that have been forced about everyone who can't or doesn't know how to do research, which is most people in politics nowadays, since politics hasn't always been about picking a goddamm side not to mention that the climate was inherently different because so many problems were different given the time period and all the impacts that come with that?
The kids on TikTok think that just because he was a classic country singer, Johnny Cash was conservative??? My babies he covered a Nine Inch Nails song in his seventies.
Classic country singers (the majority of which came from poor roots) were always talking about how much The Man sucked because they were taking money from poor rural folk. You’re gonna tell me that’s conservative?? Get outta here.

On my other account, I have a "leave if you are" post. A list of beliefs, ways of life, etc that do not match up with the kind of people that I want to interact with due to my own ideologies, beliefs, way of living, as well as my ethical stances and greater moral code. However, here I want to educate people and express my political opinions as well as the logic and research behind them, so I encourage these people to explore my profile because I more than likely do or will have a post explaining why their general views aren't well supported. I've seen a lot of queer Trump supporters talking about how Trump hasn't done anything against them, so I just wanted to post this:
Executive Order (EO) 13988, officially titled "Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation," directs all federal agencies to review policies that implement discrimination protections ordered by Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Fair Housing Act, and section 412 of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, and to extend their respective protections to apply to sexual orientation and gender identity.
On January 20th of 2025 Donald Trump signed EO 14148, "Rescissions of Harmful Executive Orders and Actions," which directed the rescindment of several Biden-era executive orders and presidential memorandum. Rescindments included EO 13988, as well as:
EO 13985: Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government
EO 14031: Advancing Equity, Justice, and Opportunity for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders
EO 14075: Advancing Equality for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex Individuals
EO 13989: Ethics Commitments by Executive Branch Personnel
EO 13999: Protecting Worker Health and Safety

The government thought TikTok was bad, wait till they learn about this AuDHD, queer AF, allied AF, tolerant AF, progressive-allegory-filled-fiction obsessed, wholesome, under-the-radar-flying social media program with users traditionalists might refer to as demon spawn, cultists, satanists, groomers, and radicals that is oft unironically self-referred to as "the hellsite."
