'As Bumblebee looked upon Grimlock with his mask and visor down he remembered all the stories he was told about the king of the Dinobots. The ruthless mech, who was once normal, turned into Shockwave's pet project. Bumblebee and his team knew Grimlock to be their loving and clumsy teddy bear, but right now, standing over the body of a Vehicon, with Energon on the other mech's claws, all that they saw was the powerful king.

Slowly, Grimlock turned his head to Bumblebee, and Bumblebee felt a shiver run up his spinal struts as the mech in front of him stared into his optics. Even with a visor he can feel the gaze and can't look away. He felt like he could be killed in this moment with one wrong move and yet that didn't happen. Instead, Grimlock twitched and shook his head before looking around. Once he saw the body he looked down at himself and the Energon stains on his frame. He slid back his mask and visor with a horrified expression on his face. "Grim?" Bumblebee finally said to the dinobot but Grimlock backed away from the others and ran off into the woods. He tried to go after him but Optimus ran up and stopped him before he could. "Let him calm down Bumblebee. He's terrified and needs space," Optimus said, but Bumblebee worried for his green and black gentle giant.'
