Honestly I may just start playing sonic games in Japanese since the cast has remained mostly unchanged for so long and probably has a closer voice direction to what the English VAs had back in the adventure days. No hate towards any of the current English actors but every time I hear sonic talk, no matter the pitch and intonation of his voice I just hear “Regular Show Background Character #17”

And knuckles’ voice still does not fit his character like at all.

I still don’t like the current shadow voice actor nearly as much as any of the other ones (including Prime) but (at least in promo material) lately he doesn’t sound like he’s constantly on the verge of rupturing a blood vessel so that’s nice I guess

woahh there's no wayyy that the most influential game on my interest in art as a kid is one of the biggest influences on my pixel art!!

(but seriously yeah it's a pretty huge inspiration for my current project in particular. I think all games should have misshapen buildings with random giant propellers attached to them)

really late at night recently, the Moon very clearly shines in my window while I'm working and stuff and it's been practically full the past few nights so it's been really cool to see it slowly crawl across the sky whenever I lean back from what I'm working on

the Columbia University arrests are worse than they seem. They're arresting protesting students for trespassing. It goes without saying students cannot meaningfully "trespass" in the common areas of a university they attend. So Columbia University has suspended all student protestors from their institution, in the process revoking their access to housing, their belonging, and most crucially damaging their academic futures. We are witnessing full scale silencing and removal of anyone of conscience from the next generation of academia.
