“My name is Eslam from Gaza, I’m 29 years old, and I’m a children teacher from Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. a mother of two daughters, Hanaa 5 years old, and Alma, 10 months old. My husband Rasmi is the director of 3 language and training centers. In this war, our house was completely destroyed and razed to the ground, and my husband’s centers were blown up. He lost his job, and we were completely displaced, and we are now homeless and jobless, My two young daughters constantly suffer from diseases due to malnutrition and water pollution.

Danger and death surround us all day and all night. We have lost everything and depend on donations to survive and, most of all, to have any hope of escaping this genocide and evacuating to safety in Egypt. The cost of daily living continues to rise significantly in Gaza - imagine that we cannot find the type of milk for our daughter because of its high price. There is no kind of detergent and this is the cause of skin diseases for my two little girls. We bought a piece of soap for $30! ، and detergent is 100$.

Hi, I'm Hani 🤗

I am Hani, a 26-year-old young man from Gaza. I no longer have anything but words, written by a trembling hand ✍️. The war didn’t just destroy our lives; it took everything from us. Our home, the refuge that once sheltered us, is now a pile of rubble 🏚️. My car, my only source of livelihood, was destroyed in a sudden strike 🚗, and the work that once sustained us is now a distant memory 💼.

Today, I live in an unending nightmare. Under a sun that burns everything in its path 🌞🔥, my family and I sit in a worn-out tent, a tent that neither shields us from the summer heat nor the winter cold ❄️. Insects 🦟 invade the place, diseases consume our bodies 🩺, and my younger siblings cry from hunger and thirst 🍞💧. We have no clean water, nor a crumb of bread to ease our hunger. Each passing day deepens the weight of this hell we live in.

My Little Brother is Dying of Fear 😨

My little brother, seven years old, is dying of fear. His eyes never stop crying 😢. Every morning, with a voice choked by tears, he asks me: "When will we go back to our home?" But I have no answer. Every look in his eyes 👁️, every tear that falls from them 💧, crushes my heart 💔. How can I explain to him that the hope which once was our lifeline has now turned into nothing but a mirage?

The Night Only Adds to Our Pain 🌙

The night doesn’t bring us rest, it only adds to our pain. We sleep on hard ground, feeling the in every bone of our bodies 🥶, with nothing but pieces of cardboard 📦 to cover us. My older sister cries in silence 🥺 as she watches the future fade before her eyes. My sick mother, in desperate need of medical care 🩺💊, suffers in complete silence. My father, who was once the pillar of our family 👨‍👧‍👦, is now confined by his own weakness, unable to move or work.

We Are Nearing the End ⚰️

Every day we live brings us one step closer to the end. Death surrounds us from every side: if not from hunger 🍽️, then from illness 🦠. And if not from illness, then from the despair that devours our souls.

Urgent Humanitarian Appeal: A Displaced Family in Gaza📢🚨

My name is Ahmed Muneer Al-Anqar, I am 33 years old, and I am a father of four children: Qusai (12 years), Jouri (7 years), Mohammed (4 years), and Adam (9 months). In the recent war that ravaged the Gaza Strip, we lost everything. Our home, which was once our safe haven, was completely destroyed in the bombing, leaving us with nothing but rubble.💔💔💝

My wife Heba, who is 27 years old, and I are doing everything we can to protect our children from the chaos that has overtaken our lives. After being forced to flee to the southern part of Gaza, we are living in a dire situation. We’ve lost all hope of returning to a normal life, as we are now without proper shelter and struggling with the most basic necessities of life.

In addition to losing our home, we are suffering from a severe shortage of food and clean drinking water. Our children sometimes go to bed without enough to eat, and we face the constant threat of hunger and thirst. Moreover, we are unable to access the medical care we desperately need. Both my wife and I require physical and mental health treatment, and our children are in urgent need of medical care, but in our current situation, getting treatment feels impossible.😭🚨💔

On top of all that, I was one of the survivors of the Baptist Hospital massacre, where we were seeking refuge. We were hit by devastating airstrikes, and I saw death with my own eyes. I survived by a miracle, but I now suffer from severe psychological trauma. It has become difficult for me to continue my life normally, and I am struggling to cope with this emotional burden while trying to stay strong for my family.

Our children are suffering too. Qusai, Jouri, and Mohammed don’t understand why their lives are filled with fear and destruction. Little Adam has never even known what safety feels like. We do our best to meet their needs, but life has become overwhelming.

This is why we are reaching out to you today. We are in desperate need of your help. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in our lives. Chapter 4-1

Shiki-no-Kami, the god of the beginning, from which the seasons and all life were born.

Since creation, she had watched over the humans and allowed them to prosper, fighting off the dangers and evils who would see humanity erased.

However, this prosperity meant that the human population expanded at a rate faster than Shiki-no-Kami could watch over. After she saved the humans from one last celestial calamity, her body split into four from exhaustion, and these became the vessels in which four new gods would reside.

Haru-no-Kami, the god of spring, he watches the heavens and the stars.

Natsu-no-Kami, the god of summer, she watches the earth and the seas.

Aki-no-Kami, the god of autumn, he watches the great expanse and all who exist within.

Fuyu-no-Kami, the god of winter, she watches the flow of time and every moment in eternity.

The four gods worked in tandem to carry on Shiki-no-Kami’s will, and bring humanity to greater heights by sharing their knowledge. But as humanity grew, humanity sought to be free from the gods’  guidance; just as they longed to shape their own path, they believed the gods deserve to be chained down by humans no longer.

The humans fought the gods, believing that their victory would set the gods free from their obligations to humanity. But the gods felt otherwise, as though the humans they’ve led and nurtured forgot the gratitude they owed.

In his dying breath, Haru-no-Kami called upon the heavens to strike the humans, but the humans never relented in their attack. Aki-no-Kami fell, then Fuyu-no-Kami…but not before she erected a barrier that shielded Natsu-no-Kami from harm.

Asteroids rained down upon the humans, eventually clearing out all but a handful. Left without the vast knowledge and foresight the gods used to grant them, humanity had to restart from scratch; while it’s hard to say if humans will return to the peak of their civilisation, Natsu-no-Kami continues to watch over them quietly, protecting them from harm.
