[ okay so… update on life since i have been inactive on all of my blogs lately and i want you guys to know why i’ve been so dead. 

i have a job!!! i ended up getting it last week and it’s been awesome! i work at a veterinary clinic helping animals and checking people in and out. only problem is is it’s about 10 hour work days and i’m on my feet all day. the last two days i’ve come home completely exhausted and my feet and legs killing me. so it will take a while for me to get use to everything there and doing things on here… 

but if you want, i’m being a bit more active on Disc.ord since it’s a bit easier to access on my phone. you can send me a message either in asks or IM and i will send you my Disc.ord and stay in contact that way. you all are so amazing and i love you all and what to do things. i’ve just been so tired with this new job it’s hard to do things… 

but yeah, anyways, you all are wonderful and i haven’t forgotten about you, i promise!!! i’m just super tired cause of IRL things… ]

[ im so sorry about being absent for so long and not really doing anything… i’ve been looking for jobs and i finally had an interview today for a job. i might be able to get it as well. i also have one tomorrow. to say the least, i’ve been very stressed but i might finally be able to get a job. which means i need get use to that schedule and make sure i have everything settled with that. again, i’m sorry that i haven’t been really active but i’ll try to be better once things get settled… thank you all for being understanding. ]

Today was the day. The angel waited in eagerness, but did her best to calm her demeanor. The last thing she wanted was to unnerve the girl. It was a new experience for them both and she was positive that the young child was nervous (and maybe upset) with being sent to live with someone else. So, now was the time to be welcoming, friendly, and calm. Patience was a virtue. Mimi wanted Sachiko to become comfortable with her new surroundings and her new guardian.

Mimi spent the few days cleaning, shopping, preparing for the new arrival. She even made sure to read up on her file - for her own sake. But she made sure to note the information, not talk about it with the girl. After all, it wasn’t fair that she knew everything about her now, but the girl knew nothing about her new guardian.

And so the day was finally here. She waited outside for about thirty minutes before the timed arrival, in case they came early. Everything was going as planned, but even she felt some sort of anxiety - excitement? - coursing through her body. Her wings were kept hidden, due to their location amongst humans, but she’ll reveal them to her new daughter soon enough.

It wasn’t long before a woman and a small child came out. Mimi smiled widely, hands at her side. Her hair was braided over her shoulder and sidebangs swept to cover her left eye - her scarred, blind eye.

No need to startle her.

Mimi bent forward to get a better look at the child - and she can see her. “Hi, Sachiko. It’s wonderful to meet you.” As she thought, she seemed distant. That was understandable. Mimi wasn’t going to force her to stare at her or acknowledge her presence. Standing up more properly, she looked at the woman. “Is there anything else you need from me before we leave?”

¦ ✂ ¦  HER HANDS CONTINUED to mess with the strap of her bag. the lady seemed very nice, but it didn’t change anything. they all seemed nice, and then as time went on, it changed. she wasn’t blood, so it made her different, which meant she was treated differently. she still held the belief she was better off on her own.

             ❝ i don’t believe so. all the papers have been signed, so everything should be good. if you have any problems, you can always call us. ❞

Sachiko knew what the women meant; it was if her “new mother” wanted to return her. like an unwanted gift. she had been through this too many times. it was why she wanted to be on her own, that way she couldn’t be rejected any more. 

the women finally turned away from the two of them, leaving them alone. still, Sachiko was quiet and didn’t look up at Mimi. what was she suppose to say to the women? she was glad to have a new mother? cause that wasn’t true. her own mother was the one that made her happy, and she was gone. 

             ❝ ... ❞

it was better to just stay quiet for now and speak only when she was asked to, until she knew her place. it would be hard for her to relax around the new women without knowing that. maybe if she behaved and didn’t do anything freaky, she would be able to stay longer than she first thought, if with women was as actually as kind as she acted now...

[ i apologize for not being around the last couple weeks. i’ve been on my OC’s account @magicallyborn since i haven’t given her attention in months. i will come back to Sachiko soon because i love this child so much and all of the people she’s met and needs to meet... i’m just giving her a small break while my other muses activity is so high. i hope you all have a wonderful day and catch me over there if you want~ ]

Ken had been walking home, groceries in each hand when he had received the text. The male transferred all the grocery bags to his left arm and pulled out his phone. Checking it, his eyes scanning over the messages she had sent. Goodness, trying to step out of her comfort zone hm?

His fingers tapped away at the digital keys.

[ SMS: My Queen~] 5 minutes.

Was all he said as he saw the apartment they had gotten together coming into view. 

Coming into the apartment, he put things down on the ground in the kitchen. Walking to their room, he opened the door.

“Hey, I’m back.”

HE WAS much closer than she had expected. not that she would ever complain about that; whenever he was around her mood always seemed to improve. and even if he had seen her with less on before, it was still embarrassing. still, she was willing to try. and Ken had been rather flirty in his texts... she could look forward to what was to come.

a few minutes later, she heard the door to the apartment open, and the first thing she did was grab a blanket and cover her front. it didn’t do much for her back though, as she heard the bedroom door open and his voice. still, she had a small smile accompanying her blush as she stood, moving towards him with the blanket still held in front of her. 

          ❝ w-welcome home, love. ❞

leaning up on her tip toes, she gave him a kiss, a little longer than she had been planning, but kisses with him were always the best. it still didn’t change the fact she was almost completely naked in front of him. her face felt like it was on fire and she rested her head against his chest. 

          ❝ ugh, i feel so s-silly wearing this... a-are you sure it looks o-okay on me? ❞
