Welcome to TOKYO CRIME, an 18+ roleplay set in an alternate universe of Haikyuu where all of our beloved volleyball players are aged up yakuza members centered in Tokyo.
~18+ Only ~Canon characters only ~Characters can choose any family, regardless of their canon school. ~Friendly people and mods!
Plot Short Version
By the late 1900s and early 2000s, seven yakuza families controlled the wards of Tokyo. It was a time of peace and prosperity. However, peace, like all things, has an expiration date. For the Tokyo Yakuza families, that date was October 2017. Flash forward to 2021. Now only three families remain; Nekoma, Fukurodani, and Itachiyama. Though some have claimed to see the survivors of Nohebi, it seems like no more than a rumor right now.

Kenma Headcanon
He had a lot of his body hair permanently removed.
(This is actually a thing in Japan. Women don’t think hairy men are attractive. Hair on the head and the privates are the only exceptions. So some men will get arm, chest, facial, leg, and back hair removed or shave to appear more attractive to women.)
Kenma wouldn’t do it to be attractive though. He’d do it because he doesn’t like shaving and he’s bad at it. He’d do it for the way it felt and how easy it made using lotion and sunscreen. He’d do it to not stand out. He’d do it because he felt cleaner. It would be completely for himself.

I hope you all enjoyed the Halloween headcanons for Kuroken!!!
It was something I decided to do in the spur of the moment so I didn’t have much time to plan. BUT!! I’m really hoping to do it again for Christmas!! I might add some more ships and characters and use more Japanese traditions.
Anyway, thank you everyone who liked and reblogged the Halloween headcanons! I hope you enjoyed them and much as I enjoyed writing them.

Kuroken Halloween 30
Kenma’s class did a haunted house for the school festival in high school. Kenma was supposed to just be managing the entrance but one of the zombies got sick after the first day. To Kenma’s dismay, the class president picked him to take over. The whole Nekoma team showed up to see and Inuoka and Yamamoto screamed in his ear. Kenma was five seconds away from smacking them but Yaku did it for him and told them to shut up. Lev kept calling him the coolest zombie and Kuroo said something sciency about zombies that everyone ignored. The team had to be shooed out of the house.

Kuroken Halloween 29
Kenma’s never strict with dress codes for his company so the employees like to wear some kind of costume around Halloween. Kenma let them but didn’t participate the first year. However, the second year, someone told Kuroo about it while Kuroo was bringing Kenma lunch. Kuroo found a cat onesie and bribed Kenma into putting it on once he got to the office. Kenma’s worn the same one to work every Halloween (but takes it off while going to and from work).

Kuroken Halloween 28
Kuroo and Kenma usually just carved their pumpkins at their own pace. Sometimes they had a contest to see who had the better design but they didn’t race the carving. Until Kuroo decided it would be a good way to decide who got the last piece of pumpkin pie. They both carved the same design and cleaned the pumpkins before starting the race. Kuroo was certain he would win since he was bigger and stronger and Kenma usually carved very slowly. But Kenma really wanted that piece of pie and put a lot of energy into carving. Kuroo couldn’t believe Kenma beat him by a matter of seconds but at least Kenma was nice enough to share one bite of the pie.

Kuroken Halloween 27
Kuroo and Kenma did one of those haunted corn mazes one time. The problem was Kenma had no sense of direction and kept insisting they were going the wrong way even though he no longer knew which way the entrance was after the first few turns. Kuroo eventually got confused too. They argued a bit and Kenma insisted on sitting down for a while. After a break, they managed to get really close to the exit but got turned around again. Instead, they ended up finding their way back to the entrance and left through there. They both swore they were never doing a maze again.

Kuroken Halloween 26
Kuroo’s dad took Kuroo and Kenma to a big pumpkin patch when they were in elementary school. They rode in a hay wagon (which Kenma hated because the straw was itchy) to a big field full of pumpkins. Kuroo was the first to jump off and pulled Kenma along to look for the perfect pumpkins. Kenma was panting by the time Kuroo stopped far away from the wagon but Kuroo was just grinning. He’d found two pumpkins bigger than they could get their arms around. They’d never carved pumpkins that huge! They tried to pick one up together but it weighed as much as they did and they ended up falling in the mud. Eventually, Kuroo’s dad had to get one of the farm workers to help them move the giant pumpkins to the wagon and then to the car. Kenma’s mom insisted on taking a bunch of pictures of the boys standing by the pumpkins and trying to wrap their arms around them and then carving them. Kuroo and Kenma couldn’t even do all the scooping because it was too big and they got tired. Both dads ended up doing most of the pumpkin cleaning to their dismay.

Kuroken Halloween 25
Once they had their own house, they decorated the front with pumpkins, a cat door decoration, some tombstones that Kuroo and Bokuto made, and a few black and orange lights. There’s a little black cat decoration by the tomb stones too that the real cats sometimes stare at as if trying to figure out if it’s real.

Kuroken Halloween 24
Kuroo did most of the cooking for them in college. One year, he kept insisting on trying to “shape” the food into something festive for several days around every holiday including Halloween. Pancakes looked like mangled cats or bats… sort of. Toast had scary faces cut into it. He shaped the stirfry like a witch hat. He tried to make curry into a bat with the rice as the body and the curry as the wings. He tried to draw a spider and web on the omurice. And the salmon and veggies were supposed to be a werewolf….theoretically. He tried his best. He brought every dish to the table with a big shit eating grin that made Kenma sigh and ask “what did you attempt this time” usually followed by a “I think you need your eyes checked” and a smirk. They enjoyed it though.

Kuroken Halloween 23
Kuroo gets way too caught up in the lack of scientific reality in some horror movies and tends to try to explain it which some people find very annoying. Kenma usually rolls his eyes but lets Kuroo carry on. Unless it’s interrupting the movie a lot. Then he tells him to explain it later. Kuroo always does...

Kuroken Halloween 22
One rainy day in October, Kuroo and Kenma were hanging out at Kenma’s place after school (elementary). Kuroo didn’t feel like playing video games and was restless and Kenma was trying to help but failing. Kenma’s mom brought in a bunch of yarn and glue and suggested they make spider webs to put outside for Halloween. Kenma made some basic ones with the white yarn but Kuroo experimented with every yarn color they had. They both ended up with glue in their hair and all over their clothes. Kenma’s mom ended up cutting off a couple pieces of hair from both of them.

Kuroken Halloween 21
Kuroo and Kenma were in Osaka for a work trip one Halloween. They visited Universal Studios and tried out as many haunted houses and mazes as Kenma would put up with. Neither of them were particularly scared of haunted houses. They knew it was all fake and they mostly just enjoyed the scenery and watching other people get terrified by fake stuff. Kenma would sometimes get scared by people jumping out at him or making an unexpected noise and he’d freeze up or get closer to Kuroo. Kuroo usually chuckled and took Kenma’s hand until he felt Kenma relax again. But Kenma usually got a chance to chuckle at Kuroo whenever his head hit something or Kuroo thought there were spiders and webs on him. Kuroo would always let out a short high pitched yelp and jump.

Kuroken Halloween 20
Once they were older, Kuroo really liked going to Halloween parties. Street parties. Train parties. Any Halloween party. Kenma wanted nothing more than to stay on the couch as far away from drunk humans as physically possible. So they’d trade off. Some years they’d do a party. Other years they’d sit on the couch and invite some friends over for scary movies.
