Get These Hands: Unified World Flyweight Title Fight Marlen Esparza vs Ava Knight!

A fight between unified world WBC/WBA/Ring Magazine flyweight champion Marlen Esparza & former three time world flyweight champion Ava Knight needs to happen asap.  This fight is must see TV.  These two fighters have unfinished business from years ago when they had an interesting back and forth beef going on with each other.  Esparza vs Knight is a grudge match between two fighters that don't like each other.

In the summer of 2019 Ava Knight was having a hard time getting fights so she took time off from boxing and signed a deal with Bellator to fight MMA.  After two MMA fights, the pandemic happened in 2020 and Ava Knight was inactive again from MMA & boxing.  During the pandemic In 2021, Ava Knight became pregnant and had a daughter named Nola.  Just 4 months after having a baby and a two year boxing layoff, Ava Knight returned to the boxing ring with a win on the undercard of Tank Davis vs Isaac Cruz on December 5, 2021.

Even after a 2 year boxing layoff and having a baby in 2021, Ava Knight is still the boogiewoman & the most avoided female boxer in the flyweight division.  Marlen Esparza has been more active in boxing than Ava Knight lately but in my opinion she doesn't want any smoke with Ava Knight.  

I already know what Marlen Esparza's built in excuse is to avoid a fight with Ava Knight.  Marlen Esparza is going to tell everyone "Why should I fight Ava Knight now, this is not a big money fight and Ava Knight has nothing to offer me."

To solve the built-in excuse from Marlen Esparza to duck a fight with Ava Knight, I want to see Ava Knight get a title fight & win the IBF or WBO flyweight world  title.  If Ava Knight wins a world title then Marlen Esparza has no excuse to duck a fight with Ava Knight.

A fight between Marlen Esparza and Ava Knight was supposed to happen years ago but for various reasons it never worked out.  In the sport of boxing timing is everything.  Ava Knight & Marlen Esparza are both good fighters in their early 30's with plenty of gas left in the tank of their boxing career's.  Now is the perfect time for Marlen Esparza to fight Ava Knight so the boxing fans can see this exciting fight. I can imagine the press conference, the weigh in, the digital content & shoulder programming for a fight between Marlen Esparza and Ava Knight creating a lot of excitement for this fight with boxing fans.    

With the financially successful Taylor vs Serrano fight the facts speak for themselves there is no more excuses, it's official women's boxing is now a proven, viable and financially successful business venture.  This fight is a win win for promoters financially & for the boxing fans.

Konnect Vizion Group would like to congratulate TK Promotion of Denmark, the co-promoter along with Probellum of WBO world bantamweight champion Dina Thorslund 18-0 (7 KOs), on signing a new television broadcast deal.  TK Promotion & Sport Live have entered into a multiyear agreement on television broadcast coverage for multiple professional boxing events in Denmark.  This is the first time in many years that a multiyear agreement has been reached between a television network and a promoter of Danish professional boxing. 

The television deal covers four to six annual boxing shows on the Sport Live Network.  The first televised boxing event of this new deal will take place as TK Promotion hosts a boxing event from the ROFI Center in Ringkøbing Denmark on June 11, 2022.   TK Promotion is run by Kasper Holgersen and Thomas Madsen, who have many years of experience as professional coaches and boxing event organizers. Thomas Madsen is the boxing trainer for  Danish WBO world bantamweight champion Dina Thorslund.  Who is wanting to soon face IBF world bantamweight champion Ebanie Bridges in a huge highly anticipated unification fight . Since its inception in 2020, TK Promotion has promoted numerous boxing events in Denmark.   Thomas and I are happy that our work is starting to create more opportunities, so that we can now land a television agreement with Sport Live.  From the beginning, there has been conversations between us, and our visions for the agreement fit well together.  I am happy on behalf of the boxers, as they will now certainly be allowed to entertain the Danish boxing audience for years to come, "said Kasper Holgersen, Promoter Of TK Promotion. A fight between undisputed world welterweight champion Jessica McCaskill & former IBF world super lightweight champion Mary McGee needs to happen asap.  This fight is must see TV.  These two fighters have unfinished business from a couple of years ago when they had an interesting social media back and forth beef going on with each other.  McCaskill vs McGee is a grudge match between two fighters that don't like each other but live closeby.  McCaskill fights out of Chicago, Illinois and McGee fights 30 miles east out of Gary Indiana.  

Boxing fans are not happy with the recent level of opposition in Jessica McCaskill's last title defense against Kandi Wyatt, who lost two fights in a row before fighting McCaskill.   In a recent press release from Matchroom Boxing it was announced that Jessica McCaskill is scheduled to fight TBA in San Antonio, Texas on June 25, 2022.  Boxing fans hope that McCaskill's as of yet unannounced opponent for June 25 is a solid credible opponent that will make an exciting fight.  

Jessica McCaskill was on a roll with good boxing career momentum after back to back wins over former undisputed welterweight champion Cecilia Braekhus.  Since the Braekhus fights the level of excitement from boxing fans for McCaskill fights has definitely lost momentum.   In the sport of boxing timing is everything.  Jessica McCaskill & Mary McGee are both good fighters at a boxing career crossroads.  Now is the perfect time for Jessica McCaskill to fight Mary McGee so the boxing fans can see this exciting fight.

In her last fight Mary McGee lost her super lightweight world title unification fight against Chantelle Cameron in the U.K. in October 2021.   It's been reported that Mary McGee is ready to get back in the ring and allegedly move up to the welterweight division.  Jessica McCaskill vs Mary McGee is an exciting barnburner fight that if promoted properly will sell tickets and do good numbers with television viewers.  This fight should be held in Chicago at the United Center, AllState Arena or the Wintrust Arena.  All the boxing fans in Metro Chicago & Indiana would definitely support this fight.  

I can imagine the press conference, the weigh in, the digital content & shoulder programming for a fight between Jessica McCaskill and Mary McGee creating a lot of excitement for this fight with boxing fans.    

With the financially successful Taylor vs Serrano fight the facts speak for themselves there is no more excuses, it's official women's boxing is now a proven, viable and financially successful business venture.  This fight is a win win for promoters financially & for the boxing fans.  So boxing powerbrokers do the right thing and make the fight between Jessica McCaskill & Mary McGee asap!
