With its sequel comic Turf Wars released over the summer, and its second chapter due at the end of January, Legend of Korra has enjoyed a bit of a reawakening. …Unless you’re a Fandomental, in which case we never shut up about it in the first place.

Korra/Asami Fics Wanted

I answered a question a little while ago about some Korrasami fics I really enjoyed and I have been rereading my some of my favourites lately (glances over at the Seeking Balance series and Absence of Light), but I wanted to know if there were any other good ones out there!

I’m going on a lil�� getaway tomorrow for a couple of days and I would love to have some Korrasami fics to read on the trip. New or old, Korrasami-focused or not Korrasami-focused, it doesn’t matter to me - I would just like to know some of your favourite TLOK stories out there (besides the ones that I listed since I’ve already read them, aha).

Korra and Asami returning from the spirit world

Asami rubs a comforting hand over Korra’s back. It was a long, beautiful trip, and they’re glad to be home, but there might be a few, more than awkward moments to come…

“It’ll be fine, sweetie,” Asami says softly. “They’re our friends. They’ll be happy for us.”

Korra sighs heavily. “I know, I know, it’s just that… Well we both dated Mako and now I… I thought I was straight and they thought I was straight and…”

Asami silences her girlfriend’s anxious ramblings with soft kiss on the nose. “This is new for me too. It’s new for all of us. But it’ll be okay.”

A few moments and deep breaths later, they open the door to Mako amd Bolin’s apartment, holding hands for strength and comfort. Korra blushes. Even the feeling of Asami’s ivory hand in her own makes her dizzy.

Bolin jumps off the couch. “Hey ladies! Come on in! Pabu missed you!”

They step forward, but just a little, their hands still tightly clasped. A subject lile this is hard to broach, especially when you share an ex-boyfriend who’s currently sitting on the couch in front of you.

It doesn’t take long for the brothers to notice something different… They way Korra and Asami stand, hips leaning toward each other. The way their fingers interlace. Their furtive, love-dizzy glances back and forth. It’s a painfully long silence. Mako looks between the two of them for a good two minutes before standing.

“Are you happy?” he asks.

The women nod, grinning like schoolchildren.

Mako’s usual scowl breaks into a smile. He stretches his arms wide and brings them close to him in a warm embrace. “Then so am I.”

@threehoursfromtroy you’re my favorite fanfic writer so far. It’s late, I came up with this on the spot, and it’s my first, but what do you think?
