Jeremy's Realization (Spoilers)

Ladies and gents, we finally got Jeremy to realize how messed up it was for Shuli at such a young age to be forced to literally protect and raise a family who hated her. I'm glad Jeremy realizes how unfair and heavy her burden is so that from now on he can be more appreciative of her and try to work w her to ease her burden.
There's still a lot of mystery why the former marquis chose her specifically and how he saw potential in her at even a younger age (bc she was only sixteen when she became marchioness!!). Furthermore, why did he place so much trust in Shuli to take care of things after he passed away?!?
Obv it's not Jeremy's actual fault for "lacking" since the boy is only fourteen years old. I find it weird that if the marquis was grooming Shuli to become marchioness this whole time, why didn't he give the same training to to Jeremy who is the actual heir of the household? Johannes knew he was gonna pass away soon yet he threw all the burden onto Shuli and kept his kids in the dark. If Jeremy was trained too then he and Shuli could've worked together and prevented so many misunderstandings. Yet Jeremy was left to live freely. Did johannes really want to spoil his kid that much or did he really saw his son as incapable?
