This one is tough. I was *really* into hp fanfic as a kid/teen - in fact, it was actually my intro to fanfic. Because of that, I’ve always deliberately stayed away from hp crossovers or au fics. Then you throw in my feelings about the author and my general avoidance has turned to “avoid like the plague”. That’s not to say that there aren’t any good korrasami/Hogwarts AUs out there, nor am I saying anyone shouldn’t read them. I’m just saying that *I* have never been into them and I’m not in a place right now where I can dig into this particular request to find you something.

Good news though! The new(ish) search on AO3 will let you search for just this kind of fic. Search for korrasami, then filter by Hogwarts in either the additional tags or general search.

This might be a long shot but have u ever read a korrasami fic where they’re strangers that meet on a train and Asami falls asleep on her shoulders? And it kind of becomes a thing they do on their commute home? I read it awhile ago and it hasn’t left my soul lmao. Anyway thank you lol I love ur blog

Hello! Do you know any modern ou fic but with bending, Korra being the avatar etc?

Well, as far as *finished* modern AU’s with bending, the only one I can think of is Venti Sized Crush by ZoeReed ( @mezoereed ). The first incomplete one that comes to mind is we'll burn that bridge when we get to it by ziraseal ( @ziraseal ). Both have “surprise” bending after the story gets established, but ziraseal’s hasn’t updated since March. 

Another unfinished one is As The Years Go By by ASociallyAwkwardDuckling (  @asociallyawkwardduckling ) - where bending is part of the story from the beginning, and it was last updated in June, so that’s not too long ago.

Finished or not, I’d recommend giving these a read and dropping some comments. You never know, it just might be what the author needs to encourage more!

Ooh, I just remembered a complete modern/future-y one - Gravedigger by seriousam. 

Give ‘em a go and let me (and the authors) know what ya think, eh?

Unfortunately, you’ve managed to describe literally every fic that starts after book 3 with Asami helping Korra. If you’ve got anything more specific, I can try to narrow it down, but they all have Asami helping Korra wash her hair.

Hi, I’m trying to find some korrasami fics where they get together in book one, I’ve only been able to find two, one was great but has been abandoned for 5 years now and the other had a good premise but was not very well written, would love a recommendation, the longer the better! Thanks

Which ones are those? I only ask because there aren’t that many really good fics that diverge from cannon *that* early in the series that also happen to be long enough to not feel like you’ve lost when they abruptly end.

This is the first one that comes to mind. Most of the fics I’ve seen with what you’re asking for are more temporary situations - Much like Korra’s canon situation. I could pull up several fics with Korra having a more permanent non-wheelchair disability if you’d like. I’ll keep an eye out though and post a link to any others like this one for you.

this one feels very much like something that would be part of a multi-chapter compilation of one-shots, thus making it hard to nail down. I’ll keep a look out and blog if I find it, but I’ve got nothing for you at the moment.
