for me, sonic frontiers was a sign that the sonic series was willing to finally let go and be itself (i wasn't a sonic fan before then but i do know the general attitude from before then, especially from the official social media)

the murder of sonic the hedgehog, of all games, solidified and confirmed it

Honestly I'm still processing the fact that The Murder Of Sonic The Hedgehog was a real thing. Like, that was an actual Sonic visual novel that was so so good and that was free and I got to play. Wow

Wasn’t able to finish the murder of Sonic the hedgehog tonight, but so far I REALLY want a full visual novel like game with Sonic characters, this is great and I want more. I love just watching these characters interact and I just want more. More more more!

Very much excited to tell you all that I worked as the lead character artist on The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog!!!!! I'm very proud of the game and everyone who worked on it! I HOPE YALL ENJOY THE GAME WE WORKED HARD ON!!! 🥳🥳🥳

I finished the game.

If this is Sega's idea of an April Fools joke then they need to do it more often because my fucking god this game was so immersive and so great from start to finish. The characters were written exceptionally well, the art is absolutely gorgeous, and the story actually has a stunning twist to it!

I'll leave all of that for you guys to figure out so I don't spoil anything, but I genuinely enjoyed this game!!!

Still thinking about that game. Man there’s so many little quirks and nooks and crannies that make the game feel so much more fleshed out.
