I finally got Sugar's wings and tail from the Beast Raid (I can't beat expert at all I'm crying no tutorial I try helps) and this silly creature now has them.

Don't know if you're still struggling, and I'm not the most knowledgeable person on team building, but here's what worked for me.

PJ and ES have raspberries, everyone else is on chocolate. The steel team is kinda hard to work with for me. I feel like chocolate works best for all the defenders, though depending on the state of your lab you might want to go for almond? RB and PV have raspberries.

If you don't have Eternal Sugar, a different poison type OR Shadow Milk might work as a replacement. Not sure though. I think you could swap out RB for a any steel type you have built better as well, and I'm not quite sure if Wildberry is needed.
