The information about this game is beyond the scope of our knowledge, but considering that Uchikoshi has created sequels despite his games having multiple endings, it could be possible; and his games do have true endings

I know it’s too early but do you see this game getting a sequel (assuming if it will be successful) or just a standalone?

definitely! Considering how it looks darker than danganronpa itself, it might actually get famous, also because it attracts fans of both visual novel and fire emblem styled gameplay. Although since I assume the game doesnt have a single canon ending, a sequel might be difficult.

Consider this a hot take but I hope that Hundred Line has no Monokuma reveal and no “This is actually a killing game/Danganronpa 4” reveal. I’m a little tired of the trapped-in-a-school killing game formula and I’d prefer to see THL stand as its own entity?

I agree. Thankfully, Uchikoshi is partaking in this project. In his message on Twitter, he did say he will feature “extreme situations” from Zero Escape

Don’t get me wrong, I would like to see some Danganronpa influences but not to the point where it’s indistinguishable from Danganronpa. No class trials, no Monokuma reveal (which I doubt), etc.

I’m actually looking forward to Karua’s full design from the official Hundred Line poster is fully revealed. It already reminds me of Fubuki Clockford’s design from Rain Code (in a good way.)
