I’m hoooked
SURPISE! Passionate readers. I'm here again to give you another book review. TEHHEE. So I knew I was going to the beach, again on Saturday. so on Friday I decided to go to my e library and borrow a book. Since I didn't want to go ruining my physical copy of midnight sun. Sea brine and paper, not the best idea. So I borrowed an e book that realized later was apart of a series. so I will be coming back to this series eventually but for now I’m going to be giving you a review to "The Hookup" by Kristen Ashley. First and foremost. Not what i was expecting. I thought it was going to be about Eliza (Izzy, Iz for short) who was more like pin up girl. I just assumed cause of the book cover. it reminded me of a 1950's ad or something. But ummm I was wrong. But I ENJOYED the book. HELLA SPICY. Romantic, a bit of drama towards the end of the book...I guess. I don't know if I would call it drama. But that the best way I can describe it. I loved the protagonists. But I think I loved Johnny more than I did Izzy. Well I could be biased. I LOVED HIM. HE WAS JUST....sigh. It could be because he reminded me of a mixture of Jason Mamoa and Kitt Harrington. LOL. Idk.  2nd I enjoyed the banter between them, I enjoyed how both characters had broken families and wanted to have a family they never had for themselves. I appreciated that there was a slow build toward an actual relationship. Rather than an immediate "I LOVE YOU" or an immediate sense that there was love. Usually love was spelled out to the reader a couple chapters in and It wasn't like that in this novel. It was smooth climb to that point. I swear by the time I read I love you come from a page, the book was already over. I felt like as a reader you maybe read between the lines more than halfway through the book that there was love but it wasn't said to the character until way late into the book. I would recommend this book. especially if you like semi Dom submissive books. LOL because there was a slight tone of Dom/sub relationship to the novel. so if you like that sort of thing. Even if you don't like that kind of thing. its worth a try. Definitely interesting read for the beach. It's a good rentable type of book. So if you are still reading my ramblings. Thank you, i appreciate that you wasted a good min in reading a review.

Hard Love
Welcome passionate readers to the final book review of the Hacker series by Meredith Wild. HARD LOVE This book is mostly about Blakes history as well as him getting into serious trouble, that leaves Erica in the position to do the saving. Which is surprising because shes usually the one that ends up needing to be saved. There isn't a lot i can say about this book other than that. cause it does give so much away but there are a couple of minor character that have been introduced in previous novels that come full circle and become better people and have learned a hard lesson which was nice to see. There were some surprises that I can do with out. I don't think it made the book better or worse. It would have been fine if Meredith Wild left that out. I'm overall pretty satisfied with how it ended. I didn't think it was going to end in a big fanfair...so I’m glad. It tied all of the loose ends that needed tying. I'm satisfied. I enjoyed it. These novels are hella spicy. So if you like reading some low key D/s kind of novels whiteout it going to deep into that. THis is that book. its more of a story than just sex. which i love. I hate when there is sooo much of the spicy and no story. It just becomes redundant and boring. So if you read this book...let me know. tell me what you think. TO THE ONE PERSON READING THIS.....THANK YOU, i appreciate you!

Hard Limit
Hey passionate readers!  I sped through these a bit but I can't help it. I went through a couple days with hardly any sleep. But i wanted to finish this series soo bad not that it wasn't difficult considering they weren't too lengthy. So I just Finished the last book Hard love. I have already written the review will be posting it later. so keep an eye on that. Hard Limits is the fourth within the series. I've noticed a trend with these novels. Each of them focus on something. In this novel Hard Limit it focuses a lot on Erica's (Protagonist) Career. Her main concern at this point is if she can separate her home life from her business life. Blake being a part of both worlds makes that incredibly difficult for her. Blake investing on her business makes Erica financially secure but that doesn't stop her from making some tough choices later in the book. As far as the romantic aspect of Erica and Blakes relationship. It was tested. quite a bit by their own doing and some by Sophia, and other smaller characters. There were also some crazy ass drama in this novel I’m not surprised because it does seem like in every novel there is some surprise or drama that happens. Hard limit was no exception to that. It was probably the most I’ve cried in the series. Erica seems to have the worst luck. so to top it off with it physically affecting her in the "future" thats completely devastating. I wish i could spoil it but if you are planning on reading it I'd rather stay mum. I did enjoy this book, despite the fact I cried a mountain of tears. LOL. If you enjoyed the ones prior then you’d enjoy this novel. Thank you so much for reading I truly appreciate you!!

Hardline
I finished this book last night. it was pretty quick but I had a set opinion of the book prior to finishing it. which I even wrote down. so here is my pre-book review.  I have my reading schedule, as you know. I prefer to read at night before bed to relax. It helps my brain to settle down and not think of things that are stressful from that day or the the stresses of the next day. Usually I write down thoughts while I’m reading a book, sometimes on my ipod other times on my goodreads (mostly goodreads). But with this book specifically I didn’t. Sometimes it takes me longer to comprehend what I’ve read that same night because I was sleepy or tired but I had an epiphany Thursday during the day. I just had a tsunami of thoughts just rushing to my brain about this book.  First of all MAX and MARK? was that a coincidence. Because not only do their names start with “M” but they are very similar characters. Both entitled, narcissistic men who have influential parents, Aggressive towards women and very much Privileged. Thats a lot of similarities. And both committed atrocities to Erica (protagonist) Whom btw seems to be a moth to a flame for men exactly like them.  2nd Blake and Ericas relationship through out the series have mentioned their traumas in passing. Erica more so than Blake. Blake brought with his trauma a need to control. He at one point felt powerless when his good friend passes and therefore felt the need to take control of the ones he loves so he won’t lose them. Erica who has gone through a violent trauma was put into a situation where she had no control. Which caused to fear anyone trying to control her. She feared being in the same vulnerable state she was in. For her running became self preservations. So in this novel it was a bit of a repeat of her trauma and realizing that the kind of relationship she needed was exactly what Blake was offering this whole time. He was offering her trust in a controlled setting. I liked this novel mostly because it made me realize that the author is slowly started to put things together one by one. In a weird analogy a soup. I feel as if each book brought ingredients together and in this book brought it the broth and its starting to appear more like soup. LOL Im sorry weird analogy. but its true. I feel like this book is making the entire serious make sense in a way that i didn’t understand before. i definitely think this book is far better than the ones before.I cant wait to read the fourth book! I hope you enjoyed my thoughts and my short pre review, that i still stand by. THANK YOU FOR READING!!!!

Hardpressed
Finished this novel Sunday night. Finally sitting down to write this review. This books is called Hardpressed by Meredith Wild her second novel in the Hacker series. First I would like to say, how unexpectedly my opinion changed. I enjoyed this book far better than the first one. There was more of a story. In the first novel I felt like Erica, the main character, was just running, running, running. And in this novel she is a fighter not just for her relationship with Blake but fighting against being controlled from everyone. To me she becomes a stronger person in her own right and therefore a strong more relatable character. That was one of the reasons for me not liking her in the first novel. No relatability. This book was far more dramatic than the one prior. Even though it isn’t realistic it was far more enjoyable read and I’m excited to get to the next book. I would recommend this book to some one who likes a bit spice in the novels they read. I hope to finish the third book within a week or two. Quite not sure yet. Depending on how much i read. Thank you for reading! i truly appreciate you!

Hardwired...
Hey passionate reader! This was unexpected but I finished Hardwired by Meridith Wild. It was shorter than i thought. it was only 270 pages long. I didn’t love this book nor hated it. But I didn’t like the main character so much. Well not that I didn’t like her, I just found her annoying. The problem with Erica the protagonist, is that shes supposed to be Identifiable. And she just wasn’t. I did like her college back story. And the only reason I enjoyed it is because of the realism it brought to the book. The trauma she went through is real life shit. and women in general go through this more than what we are told via news. So for me, its a huge reminder of the times we are living in and how far women have yet to go. I didn’t like the abrupt ending. I felt like the cliffhanger was way too abrupt and felt something wanting. That excitement that usually comes from a cliffhanger is missing for sure. That felling that makes you want to continue reading the next book in the series isn’t there. Overall I still think it’s a good book but I want to finish the series before I give my entire opinion on whether or not its worth it. If you have made it this far. THANK YOU FOR READING, I appreciate you!!

For the incoming months ahead.
Hey passionate readers, I have a couple of updates for the incoming month or months. First, I haven't gotten my hands on the novel Midnight sun by Stephenie meyer yet. I have been on the waiting list for a about 2 weeks now. I should be getting the novel but don't quite know when. My hope is this week but my senses tell me other wise. So that being the case you won't be getting a review of that novel any time soon. 2nd.I have prepared a couple of novels to read in the mean time. It is more of spicier variety. 18+ . My customary way of picking the next book is by picking them out of the book jar i have. They are written down by title or series with author. I pick one but if i cannot find them in my nearest library app then i pick another unitl im able to find one that is available. Or find other means.  I picked two series for the next couple of months. One of them is from one of my favorite authors, Colleen hoover with her Slammed series. And the current novel that im reading is Hacker series, Hardwired by Merideth Wilde. So expect the first review to go up hopefully at the end of the month. If i get enough reading done. To those who are reading this, I APPRECIATE YOU!

This book is Everything, Everything!
Hey passionate readers, This past month I read Everything everything by Nicola Yoon. I loved it. I watched the movie before which is something I don’t do. I’m more of I’ll read first before watching the film. I loved the movie so much that i decided to pick up the book. And I wasn’t disappointed. The chapters were short, I didn’t mind that at all. In fact i felt like it was easier to read a book with short chapters in books that have around 300 or so pages. The characters were relatable in that their lives were not the typical cookie cutter novel life. I loved that the book came with illustrations, it made me feel like i was reading Maddy’s diary, and getting a sense of her internal thoughts rather than reading a story. I loved that it had a sense of realism. The conversations, the IM and emailing between the two main characters were incredibly entertaining. The humor in this novel, it made me lol quite a few times Not gonna lie.It also had some really heart wrenching moments. And of course the romance. The ROMANCE!!! I just melt. There were many, many beautiful quotable conversations or internal thoughts that were written. I-I wish i could have written them all down. Overall I definitely would recommend this book who loves a bit of romance and humor.

Passion for fiction is back!
So, I am beginning this new book blog journey refreshed. I started a facebook blog with the same name a long while ago. With the idea of sharing my favorite books as well as reviews on others I haven’t read before and eventually incorporated my favorite quotes. I enjoyed it immensely but after a long while of doing these reviews, It became more of a job than an actual hobby. I still read for fun but not with the same love I had. I eventually got back into reading with the same passion and love I had before. After a while I realized why I had lost interest. For me it became more of a race...how soon could i finish the book? How concise can I be without giving out spoilers? Will my readers enjoy the book as much as I did? Do my quotes look professional or childish? In the end It was more like me just rushing to the end of the book rather than enjoying the story. I’m ready to go back and actually do these reviews in the right way. I will still do my favorite quotes. But I won’t be in such a rush and as pressured as I was before. I want this to be more for the love of reading and not for the amount I put out.
With LOVE  Kris.
