Losing a family member, someone close to me, someone I idolized and loved so much is incredibly hard and just hard to believe. Grandma was sick for a very long time and still tried to live and enjoy life. We will never forget her. She will be in our hearts forever 🕯️❤️‍🩹

Hellow my dear subscribers! I have some news for you that I want to share ^^

As you've noticed, I post my works on TUMBLR under two nicknames: KristinART_18 (edits) and TOFKARTS (The Only Fluffy Knight) (arts). So here goes. I originally separated my creative directions, thinking it was the right thing to do. But I was wrong. In fact, I've been under one nickname from the beginning that spoke for itself. KristinART. It's just that I modified it a bit over the years of editing, and it became KristinART_18. And from the very beginning, I used KristinART as my artist (specifically when I was drawing). But somehow, miraculously, it migrated into editing and has been going hand in hand with me for almost 10 years! :O

I thought long and hard about it and decided to say that I'm going back to my old nickname KristinART_18. I can't wait, because so much works can accumulate in such a short time.

Why did I decide to make such a change?

First of all, because I don't want to confuse you, folks. And it can be said that editing and drawing in my case are interconnected. I used to edit photo manips when I didn't know how to create videos and masks with different characters. And I while doing edits, I've been tinkering with some details lately.

Secondly, the word ART itself means art. Art can be manifested in everything: in drawing, editing and music, even in cooking :D What am I saying? I'm saying that even if I didn't change my nickname, going from editing to drawing is the next stage of development, or rather, revealing the old and forgotten in my creative soul ^^

I've been drawing since I was a kid, but edits came into my life so unexpectedly that I've been hooked on them for a long time. However, lest we forget, editing was originally my hobby (there were a few times that I did commissions, but that's where I ended it. Now I only accept commissions in drawing ^^). I did and do it primarily for fun, if I have time or to avoid creative burnout I definitely need to switch it up.

Like I said, from this day forward I will use my favorite and old nickname KristinART_18 FROM NOW ON AND FOREVER! What about the others? KristinART and TOFKARTS (The Only Fluffy Knight) are my nicknames. They have been a part of my life and each has been in the process of my creative development. In no way can they be used by other people.
