How Might We...
How might we help individuals make decisions more easily

confident of their decisions?
Success looks like people getting answers quickly and thoroughly
so that they can start and continue making progress in different

App Idea
As I was deciding which app I wanted to create, I couldn’t help but realize the limitless options that I had.  Too many options if I must say.  That idea got me thinking about how when humans have more options, it’s harder for them to make a decision. When they have a few select options, it’s easier to pick one because with less options, there’s less feelings of uncertainty. From that, I came up with the idea of making an app to narrow down your options.
This app will have various categories pertaining to the decisions you make in life from what you wear to what your career might entail. When you click on one of these categories, a question one by one will come up to ask about your preferences in each area. For example, if you don’t know what to wear on a certain day, some questions might ask about your mood, the weather status, what type of event or place you are heading to, and how do you want others to perceive you that day. In return, it will give a few options of clothing styles/choices to choose from.  This will narrow down your choices and make it easier for you to get on with your day.
The reason why someone would use this app is to simplify their life. Not only would it simplify their life, but it can make them more productive in their lives from not spending too much time making decisions. This app is purely suggestion based but it has the ability to change the course of someone’s life. This app is for all ages from all walks of life. Categories may include career paths, whether to speak to someone, if you should start a business, if you should go back to school, whether you should learn a new instrument or language, etc. The categories are vast, but the outcome and solution is to narrow decisions in each area of life.
