I'm struggling with college sooo... yeah

You were sitting at your desk, textbooks open, notes scattered, highlighter in hand. Exams were creeping closer, and you were determined to focus. The only problem? Kuroo Tetsurō.
He was lying on your bed, watching you with the most dramatic pout you had ever seen, like a cat that had been ignored for too long. Every few minutes, he would sigh loudly, shifting around, making sure you knew he was suffering.
"Babe…" he whined.
"No," you said without even looking up.
"But you don’t even know what I was going to say!"
"I do. You were going to say, ‘Babe, come cuddle me,’ and the answer is still no," you replied, underlining a sentence in your notes.
There was silence. Then, suddenly, you felt hands on your shoulders as Kuroo leaned down from behind you, his chin resting on your head.
"I just think," he murmured, "that you’d absorb information better if you took cuddle breaks."
You rolled your eyes. "Oh really? And where’s the scientific proof of that?"
He grinned, pressing a lazy kiss to your temple. "You’re looking at it. I’m a living example. I cuddled my textbooks before exams, and look where I am now."
"You’re ridiculous," you muttered, but you couldn’t stop the smile tugging at your lips.
Kuroo took that as encouragement and wrapped his arms fully around you, resting his chin on your shoulder. "Come on, just five minutes? You’re all tense. You need a break."
"I do not."
"You do." He started peppering light kisses down your neck, and you felt your resolve crumbling.
"Tetsu—stop that! It’s distracting!" You tried to wiggle away, but he only held you tighter, chuckling.
"That's the point, sweetheart."
You groaned dramatically but finally sighed in defeat. "Fine. Five minutes. But if I fail this exam, I’m blaming you."
Kuroo wasted no time pulling you onto the bed, wrapping himself around you like an octopus. "Yeah, yeah. Just means I’ll have to tutor you. And by tutor, I mean more cuddle breaks."
You huffed but melted into his warmth, secretly glad for the break. Maybe he had a point—just maybe.

You sat on the couch, scrolling through Instagram with a sinking feeling in your chest. Picture after picture filled your screen—groups of girls smiling brightly, dressed to perfection, capturing their outings with friends. The captions were filled with inside jokes and hashtags, making it clear they shared something special.
You sighed, closing the app and tossing your phone onto the coffee table. The familiar ache of loneliness crept in, and your insecurities whispered in the back of your mind: Why don’t I have that? Why don’t I look like that?
You didn’t even realize you’d started crying until Kuroo’s voice broke through your thoughts. “Hey,” he said softly, kneeling in front of you. “What’s wrong?”
You quickly wiped at your eyes, but it was no use. The tears kept falling. “It’s stupid,” you mumbled.
“If it’s making you cry, it’s not stupid,” he said gently, his hands resting on your knees. “Talk to me.”
You hesitated before finally blurting it out. “I was just looking at Instagram, and... I don’t know. Everyone else seems so happy. They have all these friends, and they’re so pretty, and I just feel... not enough.”
Kuroo’s brows furrowed as he listened, and he reached up to cup your face, his thumbs brushing away your tears. “Hey, none of that,” he said, his voice soft but firm. “You’re more than enough. You’re everything to me.”
You shook your head, your voice trembling. “It’s not just about you, Tetsu. It’s about me. I don’t have anyone like that. No close friends to hang out with, no one posting pictures with me... I feel so lonely sometimes.”
His heart ached at your words, and he pulled you into a tight hug, resting his chin on your shoulder. “I hate that you feel like this,” he murmured. “But those pictures? They’re just highlights. They don’t show the whole story. People only post what they want others to see.”
“I know,” you whispered, your voice barely audible. “But it still hurts.”
He pulled back slightly to look into your eyes, his expression serious yet tender. “You don’t need to look like them or live like them to be amazing. You’re kind, smart, funny, and the most beautiful person I’ve ever met. Inside and out.”
You gave him a weak smile, but he wasn’t done. “And about the friends thing... I know it sucks, but you’ve got me. I know I’m not a group of giggling girls, but I’ll hang out with you anytime. We’ll take all the pictures you want, I’ll even put on a dress if it’ll make you laugh.”
That got a small laugh out of you, and his face lit up. “See? There’s my favorite smile.”
“Tetsu, you’re ridiculous,” you said, shaking your head but feeling a little lighter.
“Maybe,” he admitted, leaning in to press a soft kiss to your forehead. But I’ll do anything to make sure you never feel like you’re not enough. Because you are. To me and to anyone lucky enough to be in your life.”
You leaned into him, letting his words wash over you. “Thank you,” you whispered.
“Always,” he said, holding you close. “Now, how about we plan a day that’s all about you? Whatever you want—movies, snacks, silly pictures, you name it. We’ll make some memories worth posting about, just the two of us.”
You smiled, your heart swelling with gratitude and love. “That sounds perfect.”
Kuroo grinned, kissing the top of your head. “Perfect, just like you.”
