bakugou gets horribly injured during a fight while protecting izuku and has to fully rehabilitate. izuku is there to help him all the way through. i love this fic, it’s really sweet. it’s pining izuku pre-slash, but it’s pretty easy to see where bkdk will go next from the ending

Okay so we all love the Katsuki temporarily loses his memory (amnesia, quirk accident etc.) and flirts shamelessly with Izuku trope, but also consider

Katsuki wakes up with amnesia and is overcome with how beautiful he thinks Izuku is, but he’s really shy about it. Instead of teasing Izuku mercilessly as usual, he stares at him in awe. He’s super polite toward him, reverant, in a way that’s almost a little spooky if you’re used to the normal, brash Bakugou Katsuki.

Izuku visits him often. He brings him All Might comics to read. He gets him his favorite snacks from the vending machine. He’s so doting, and Katsuki starts to wonder if he was dating this guy before losing his memory...

He asks Ashido, and being the little shit that she is, she lies and says yes they are dating

I HAVE CONTENT

All I can think about tonight is a bkdk au I want to write where PR is trying really hard to come up with a way to make pro hero Dynamight more likable when they overhear Deku saying something about his cooking and how skilled he is.

Brilliant, a weekly cooking show with Bakugo. That’s sure to warm the public to him! Bakugo is, of course, furious but not in a position where he can refuse so instead he drags Deku down with him. It was Deku’s fault anyways. So if he’s going to cook, Deku is going to eat. And that’s how the general public is treated to the weekly cooking show by the two most popular heroes which, in and of itself would be a great. Except it turns out to be so much more than that.

It starts out small, with Deku sharing little anecdotes from their childhood while Bakugo cooks, revealing small secrets and laughing in the face of the threats that Bakugo throws his way, wielding a spatula like a weapon as he makes the food extra spicy in retaliation.

It’s a PR dream because the public is not only getting to see a new side of Dynamight, they’re getting to know more about him. And having the endorsement of the #1 Hero and Japan’s sweetheart certainly doesn’t hurt.

But it evolves from there. And the public falls in love with them together. With the way Deku hops in to open jars for Bakugo when his hands are wet and he can’t, the way the stories evolve to talk about more personal things, the way Bakugo starts to tell stories about Deku. There’s something about the way they bicker that seems less like bickering and more like flirting and suddenly the whole internet is alight with theories about them secretly dating, looking for evidence that they’re more than friends.

People start tuning in every week because now they’re invested in the relationship more than they are in the cooking. And our heroes, oh, our hopeless heroes who have secretly been crushing on each other for YEARS and assuming it’s unrequited are only falling harder every week. The world is literally watching them fall harder in love in real time, watching them be obtuse about it and learning to cook on the side.

And then the episode comes where Deku surprises everyone and cooks because Bakugo had been out late working the night before and it comes out that Bakugo was the one who had taught him how to cook in the first place and the internet damn near breaks for at least 24 hours.

I’m not sure how they finally get together yet, but they do. Probably with some cheesy food related pick up line and a lot of eye rolling. And the world celebrates it because god they’ve been shipping this so hard for weeks.

And anyways, Bakugo’s whole PR team gets promotions because it ends up being a wild success 😂

discriminating taste [bkdk cooking au]

Summary: It’s a bright and sunny afternoon when the PR team for #2 Pro Hero Dynamight is asked to do the impossible: make him more likable to the public.

But through an ultimatum from the president of the hero agency and an idea unknowingly created by the #1 Pro Hero Deku, they come to an unlikely idea that might just work; a weekly cooking show.

Katsuki agrees to it, but on one condition:

“Okay,” Katsuki meets Michael’s gaze head on finally and knows he’s about to hate every word out of his own mouth, But he’s been given an ultimatum and as much as he fucking hates it, he has no actual choice here. Michael has twisted his arm and everyone in this room knows it. “I’ll do the stupid fucking cooking show on one condition.”

“Name it.” Michael leans forward in his chair, his gaze unwavering, clearly interested in what Katsuki’s demand could possibly be.

“Deku does it with me.”
