50 SHADES OF VEGAS:
Can’t help but fall in love with all 50 shades of this red flag
Sidenote: This is about the series Vegas, the book Vegas can go to hell: I made the grave mistake in reading the novel and honestly I can only say, my admiration for the creative geniuses at BOC and the actors have increased tenfold. They were able to transform a trashy novel with despicable characters (Kinn and Vegas mostly) into a masterpiece that is the series. Thank you BOC for your commendable efforts in reshaping the plotline and characters, resulting in a far superior version of Kinn and Vegas. KPTS is a shining example of how creativity and talent can triumph over even the most challenging source material
(1) HIS MICROEXPRESSIONS: There are thousands and I wish I could upload them all (maybe in another post) Anyways, here are some of my favs:
Sidenote: to appreciate Bible’s acting skills: He is just amazing. As I've mentioned before, portraying an incredibly complex character like Vegas is a challenging task. Those sudden mood shifts require finesse and skill. Yet, Bible effortlessly navigates through those subtle changes in emotions. Even in the briefest camera shots, each expression he delivers is a work of art, unique and captivating, leaving a lasting impact.
(2) HIS EYES: Those seductive eyes can pull you under their spell….
...... but beware, for his mood can just as easily plunge you into a terrifying abyss of horror.
(3) HE DOES HAVE A WAY WITH GUNS:
Handles it with flawless precision. Effortlessly stylish and deadly with guns, a rare combination.
Please take a moment to appreciate the awesomeness of this scene- Mile talks about it in BTS
(4) WHO THE HELL EATS LIKE THIS? Imagine him looking at Pete while eating like this: Thoughts in Vegas head “This is not what I want in my mouth” Pete… you lucky boy
(5) HIS SEXY PREDATORY GRACE
(6) HIS HANDS : Their hypnotic movements and gentle caresses, expertly tailored to awaken Pete's deepest longings. And they are destined to belong to Pete
(7) A CONSUMATE LOVER
In the series, there is only one love scene between Pete and Vegas, but it speaks volumes. Unlike the book, Vegas showcases a considerable difference in his approach to intimacy with Pete. He never forces himself on Pete; instead, he employs seduction to gain Pete's consent. Once he achieves it, a sense of triumph radiates through him (again, here comes Bibles brilliance in acting- sucks in his teeth, a subtle yet potent gesture symbolizing his conquest and desire; his face becomes a canvas of emotions, revealing a sequence of expressions within seconds: shock, victory and lust)
What I understood: with the exclusion of Vegas going feral while kissing Pete, all other intimate acts exude tenderness and gentleness. (a stark contrast to Kinn's love-making, driven by insatiable hunger and primal desires to consume Porsche) Vegas retains an element of control, taking time and savoring each moment with his favorite delicacy. He never resorts to excessive roughness; instead, he moves with exercising a slow and deliberate pace carefully ensuring Pete's comfort and pleasure.
He pauses in-between to bestow soft kisses upon Pete intent on comforting him and making sure he’s ok considering it’s his first time and all. Quite surprising really, considering Vegas penchant in inflicting pain on others.
This clip reveals the true essence of their relationship. Here Pete's vulnerability becomes a strength, a testament to the unshakeable bond they share.
Despite the torment Pete endured, a remarkable moment unfolds where he willingly allows Vegas to bind his hands. It becomes an act of profound trust, and Vegas is visibly moved by Pete's gesture, delicately holds his bound hands and kisses them. This display signifies that Vegas will treasure Pete's trust as a sacred gift, something to be cherished and protected with utmost care. ( Also note the positioning- Vegas looming over Pete: dominance and submission are interwoven with trust and mutual respect.). It showcases Pete's willingness to offer himself, placing his faith in Vegas's hands, and in return, Vegas embraces his responsibility with care and affection during their lovemaking. This side of Vegas, rarely seen by others, is unlocked solely by Pete. It is a revelation of the deep connection and emotional intimacy they share, where the once sadistic and elusive Vegas shows a rare and gentle demeanor reserved only for Pete. Each intimate scene in this series is symbolic and holds a deeper meaning, meticulously choreographed and acted, visually striking
(8) THOSE RAZOR SHARP CHEEKBONES : He may have gotten punched, but I bet its Porsche’s hands bleeding
(9) These rare instances of his tenderness and vulnerability : for Pete’s eyes only
That slow smile
HOW CUTE IS THIS! Vegas amusement at Pete's annoyance and The way Vegas placates the irritated Pete with those gentle caresses to his face. Thank you to the creative geniuses who crafted these tiny character nuances
(10) HIS BLOOD RED LIPS
(11) Unwavering loyalty is his gift to even the most undeserving, like his jerk of a dad.
(12) His willingness to sacrifice his life to make amends for his wrongdoings.
(13) His unconditional love is a gift that belongs only for Pete and no one else :
In the few minutes of the post-credit scene, Bible utilizes it to the maximum. With finesse and nuance, he brings out the raw emotions of Vegas, laying bare the depths of remorse the character is going through. Yes, there is no justification to his past actions, but the post-credit sequence is like a new beginning. Initially an unlikeable character, but with the changes made in character by BOC combined with exceptional acting, I was able to empathize and root for Vegas. Here you see a newfound sense of self-worth and acceptance blossom within him. Like a journey of redemption and self-discovery. Vegas finally comes to a realization—he deserves to be loved, and he is capable of receiving and cherishing that love.

Radical Interpretations
Build denied the the relationship was physically abusive & cited the karate chopping incident clip and the rooftop one, saying if one was abuse then the other was attempted murder & that’s ‘ridiculous to him’ . It was how they ‘played since they were friends.
Build Fans: Build said the rooftop incident was attempted murder.
It seems like he is actually trying to be completely honest meanwhile the looney faction of the Build fandom is the worse thing he has going for him.

If you don’t support Bible in new projects that don’t include Build, you aren’t his fan and you never were.
I'll fucking say this again but if you don't support Bible's future the way he choses it then you don't support him. If you don't let him safely move on from this you don't support him. If you only support him with Build you don't support him.
He's an individual.
I'd much rather he lost a few fans than have his fans behave like this. I'd rather they left to let him live his life.

You need your friends most when you f*ck up
I have no time for Build, but I’m fine with his friends and co-workers offering him some support. That’s their choice and it doesn’t mean they endorse abuse.
Apo fans don’t need to interpret, explain or defend his actions and I wish they wouldn’t try. It just makes them look like the lunatics in the Build fandom.

I wish people would leave Bible the f*ck out of this
I’m seeing a lot of comments about people being silent on the Build issue since the leaked phone call and the false story reveal, as if we’re ashamed of our earlier opinions.
Firstly I never believe the ‘I’m a friend of his ex’ or ‘I went to school with him’ stories, so it never informed my stance.
The phone recording just confirmed what I always thought; that this is a toxic relationship between two terrible, selfish and weird people. It’s pretty obvious that Build recorded the conversation so you can’t take anything he said as ‘real’ and yet still it came across as mutually ‘fucked up’ (not that anyone but two people can be sure, assuming they have any insight into their own behaviours, which is doubtful).
I’m sure Build will be ‘cleared’, since there are many mitigating factors, but that will not erase the extremely misogynistic and homophobic stances he held, nor the fact he was close friends with two alleged groomers, before entering into a intimate relationships with one of them. (Build has stated he was friends with the writers prior to his casting and this is reiterated in the phone call).
He is not the ray of sunshine people want to make out, but then who of us is.
I also really resent the fact that Bible is continually dragged into this by ‘fans’ who want to use his continuing popularity & success to try and keep Build relevant. The man deserves to move on in his career without an unwarranted albatross around his neck. They were colleagues, and possibly close due to the nature of their working relationship (and I think its safe to say), no great romance. (People are actually running with the theory that Bible is this redskull person for pity sake).
I will admit, I work in corrections so I’m way too familiar with toxic relationships and, while understanding, I treat everything with a healthy dose of cynicism.
With insight, I know this post is largely to get this off my chest (I’m not in therapy), so I am sure I am not the only one who hopes this is the last time I comment on this matter.

At Some Point, Bible just has to play a Vampire.
It would be such a waste if it never happens.

Why I think getting angry at BibleJeff fans is unnecessary
I love JeffBarcode, together and separately, and Wuju Bakery looks like it will be as cute as a basket full of puppies with a sprinkling of kittens.
The thing is, Barcode is only 18, and Jeff is nearly 30, so we are going to have series with closed lip kisses and blushing for a few years yet, which is fine, some of my favourites are the cute as hell BL’s.
But I think it’s unfair to limit either actor by their CP.
Jeff would probably like to explore some of the darker sides of life that began with KP, and more complicated relationship dynamics (not that KimChae didn’t have it’s troubles). I personally would like to see more adult content for Jeff, and I don’t just mean the sex scenes. And I would like to see Barcode in something of the ‘My School President’ genre with co-stars closer to his own age.
I think Bible and Jeff are mature and have enough trust in each other (not that as a fan I really know anything) to explore some darker adult themes through drama.
Anyway, I would like to see it, along with those of the Wuju Bakery ilk.

So the tag to Boycott BOC is filled with those who say the company supported Build too much and not enough.
Just shows how the whole thing was mishandled.
