                   Josuke gave the other a dry look the entire time, silently handing over the instructions. He was clearly too tired to put up with Mista’s attitude, but he was glad the other eventually decided to cooperate. This grade was much more important to Mista than to Josuke, that much was obvious -- the teen might look like a delinquent, but he was a good kid who at least did his homework. Still, this project was pretty important, so he did his best... But the boy was never an expert on aesthetics. An exasperated sigh left him before a smug smile settled itself on his face.

          “Nope, apparently I don’t. See if you understand this enough to do it better than me.”

     Josuke checked the time and found that, if they were going to continue to fuss like this, there wouldn’t be enough time to finish the project before he had to go home -- and he wasn’t sure if his classmate would appreciate staying the night to work on school-related things.

          “Good luck.” That probably came out less sincere than he had intended.

     ‘ give you a hand? why the fuck should i do that? you’re the one who’s supposed to be in charge of the whole thing not me! ‘ he scoffs in response, clearly adamant about not putting an ounce of effort into their schoolwork. 

     ‘ and it ain’t my fault you managed to completely fuck it up - ‘ mista continued on before taking a brief pause. when he took another glance at their project it was then that he realized that his methods of getting others to do his work for him wasn’t going to really work this time around. in other words, if he was to leave everything to josuke then there wouldn’t be enough time to make the project, at the very least, presentable; and honestly, mista couldn’t afford to get a failing grade, otherwise he’d fail the class and be forced to take remedial classes … which is something the italian-cuban did not want whatsoever.

     ‘ - forget it! i’ll help with the dumb project! just give me the fucking instructions to read since apparently you don’t know how to do it for shit. ‘

                   “Well maybe if you’d HELPED in the first place we wouldn’t be in this mess! Listen, we can do this as long as you give me a hand.”

     After all, thinking it wouldn’t work out has never worked in his favor before.

     ‘ followed the directions, my fucking ass! it looks like you never bothered to read the instructions in the first place! fuck, we’re going to be here all night fixing this shit! ‘

     At least nobody was around to call him silly for talking to a baby. Josuke moved to pick Shizuka up gingerly -- her Stand was always dangerous business, but the teen hoped she was used to him enough to not turn the both of them invisible.

I am… not a chronologically locked rp blog.

That means that if you talk to me to establish that we want to ship our muses, or have a particular relationship or type of report between them, I am 1: totally okay with multiple threads of varying length and styles with you and 2: will probably jump around in the supposed ‘timeline’ of our muses relationships in order to keep things interesting/ make ask prompts work.

For example, we may be writing an intro thread with our muses, but if you wanna send me a thing for like… a first kiss that may happen months down the line (and shipping is what ur up for) go ahead and do it! The way I see it, separate points on a timeline are FUN to RP because then you can look back later and figure out how they connected/ try to work in little details that make them flow together.

This has been on my mind for long but I’m gonna do this - please reblog this if you’re comfortable with pre-establishing relationships. I do not mean “met at the grocery store two weeks ago” or “have a common friend”, but rather stuff like “have been best friends since kindergrden”, “go for a beer every friday”, “friends with benefits”, “dated in highschool”, “hate each other’s guts because -insert reason-”  etc. Something meaningful (but not necessarily shippy) and I mean with muns/characters you have not interacted with, because I cannot believe I am the only one who prefers jumping right into the heart of the human interaction
