Talent swap!

I've been flooding around the idea of a talent swap where Kazuichi is the ultimate yakuza and Mikan is the ultimate swordswoman. I have it where there relationship is platonic but can be read as romantic.

The way that met is different from the way Peko and Fuyu did. Mikan wasn't a gift more of a wet cat Kaz kick up off the street when it's raining(quite literally).

Kazuichi didn't really expect anything in return for taking her in & Mikan wanted to show her gratitude for his kindness. So she replaced Kazuichi in his sword training since while decently capable not his strongest point. Kazuichi said she didn't have to but she did anyway. She wanted to protect his kindness.

Kazuichi is still a scardy cat, easy to cry, whiny and highly empathetic so don't worry. He was also cutthroat, highly analytical and fair. Yes he is still a paranoid wreck at times but he has a better handle on things. I mean he's got a whole organization to run and multiple people who look to him for guidance.

When they got to hope's peak Kazuichi pushed Mikan to make school friends and people she could connect with. He wanted her to have the opportunity to leave if she wanted to. She's family to him after all.

The fact I'm seeing people ACTUALLY complain about how Teru's the front cover and that "it should have been Nene"....

I literally had someone in my replies to a comment I made about how excited I was about Teru (FINALLY) getting another cover and there were all " but Nene doesn't have a solo and he has two tho" not true btw.

His last cover was volume 14 and he's only appeared twice on the little side chibi.

Nene tho doesn't have a solo cover appears multiple times in a cover (volume 2,5,8,12,13 and 15. THAT'S 6 OUT OF 23 VOLUME COVERS WITH HER ON IT.) and gets almost ALL the artwork...

The fact that comment section was full of "starving Nene fans" is actually ridiculous to me. (YOU GET ART OF HER ALL THE DAMN TIME-)

Before the war, Mahmoud was an Information Technology student at Gaza University, harboring dreams of building a brighter future for his family. Those dreams were shattered when the university was bombed, classes were suspended, and his home in Khan Yunis was reduced to ruins. Now, Mahmoud and his family live in a makeshift tent in a displacement camp, fighting to survive without water, electricity, or access to food.

The winter cold seeps through every threadbare inch of the tent, and the howling wind drowns out the silence left by everything they’ve lost. With his father sick and his brother in need of medical care, Mahmoud shoulders the burden of his family’s survival alone. My name is Hashem from Gaza. I am 32 years old and my wife, Samar, is 27 years old. We have a child born in the eighth month of pregnancy. His mother was premature because of my wife's fear of war. My large family consists of 8 members: my father, mother, four male brothers and 2 females. My father died in the war due to a lack of medicine in hospitals as a result of the fierce war on Gaza.

My story began when we were displaced from our home in northern Gaza in mid-October 2023 after a letter threatening eviction, and then the house was targeted and destroyed. Between this Exodus and the current fifth Exodus there are many stories and sufferings.

We now live in plastic tents, which are thermal ovens, which are not suitable for living and do not provide the minimum necessities of life, in addition to the spread of epidemics and diseases, which puts our lives in danger.

Through this campaign, we are trying to collect enough money to meet our needs and get us out of the Gaza Strip safely. We ask you to stand by us and protect us from this severe danger.
