otabin from lost in language symbolizes amity's old denial of luz being a friend. amity couldn't accept help, and she was just always trained to wait. her parents always told her that she's worthless, which made her think she never found true connection to anyone she met. when she did find people to open up to, everyone forced her to act a certain way, making the images of otabin being uncontent (why she dropped willow). luz was the first friendship ever accepted by the blights, and this is how her and her siblings gain connection to each other, thus forgiving amity vice versa. otabin also places a book about "friends" to his heart, and amity soon does this a few episodes later when she finds out about "love". amity realizes that she has some friendships to mend, trying to become a better person before ever befriending anyone (like otabin's process)

the corruption scene really pains me still because catra is talking about she ra, not adora. because of she ra, adora made the decision to be friends with glimmer, bow, and everyone else. that was how the rebellion was formed. catra doesn't even know what she wants anymore, to the point where she projects her insecurities onto adora. notice how she said “you made me this” and “you took everything from me” meaning that adora really was everything to her, and that is why she only stayed with the horde. she ra puts catra at a limit where she feels like she can’t get adora back. this scene is so powerful to the point where it even parallels to what adora wants. adora wants a future with mainly catra, glimmer, and bow but because of she ra she felt lime she couldn’t have that. what catra said to adora right there also added pressure on her to be an amazing savior. catra picks up on this and that’s why she asked questions like “what do you want, adora?” because she knows that adora didn’t choose any of this and this all just came up to her. always remember that catra was adora’s first friend because of herself, not she ra. all of adora’s friends besides catra learned to appreciate adora later on.

eda and the bat queen are two sides of the same coin. instead of the theory of the bat queen cursing eda, it was most likely that the bat queens owner cursed eda themselves. the bat queen was lost 1,000 years ago as well, the same time eda probably just got cursed. both instances that happened resulted in a loss of memory for that specific time. the bat queen feels betrayed to the point where she feels all alone. as seen in episode ten, the bat queens lair is very dark, which relates to the fact that the curse only lives in the dark and doesn't like light. ‬when eda is in her cursed form, her normal side is more laid back then usual while her other side is ragged. the bat queen herself is also ragged that there is nobody left for her, and she makes sure now that she is always there for her children. that is why she took owlbert since she thought it was luz, but gave him back because eda was owed one (what bat queen said in episode seven). the bat queen, eda, and owlberts eyes are all golden yellow so they must be connected (hooty is separate from them because he was found later). they all glow when they are being controlled, and they are shaped to live life this way. the bat queen could've been something else before she turned that way (not cursed, but had a different reputation). also, since eda will get cursed soon and painfully lose her memory of every event in the show, bat queen will help her. the last episode title, young blood, old souls means that eda living many different lives, and the curse coming through each generation (you can connect this to eda because she calls herself wise which old souls do have).

maybe the reason why only a little bit of amity's brown hair shows is because of what is left of herself. everything was tooken away from her. she had to fit in with her siblings, and do stuff in a standard that wasn't hers. amity only knows how to give deep down. she knows this is not what she wanted. now she is working to get everything back. a theory that I have is that her hair change in the future will also shape how she is as a person.

what if amity is still with luz until understanding willow.. this is when amity separates herself from her, only to protect luz. since that episode revolves around memories, amity will be reminded of the things that happened in the past. amity thinks that she doesn't deserve anyone else after hurting many people. willow might ethier strongly agree or disagree on this, but at first she'll try to convince luz why she shouldn't be around her. she will still always be around amity, regardless how she feels because they might be in the same class. amity might soon think she is coming second to luz since she cares a lot about her, and will have doubts while still supporting her (this theory was based off of angsty catradora)

catra's lives were really burned more towards the second and third arc of the show.. this proves that she genuinely gave up on her life at that point. adora is the first person that catra didn't give up for.. she was always told by many people that she wasn't special, even at a young age. since she died that many times, it's almost as if everything she does no longer matters to her or anybody. she knows that she can't please anyone anymore. she always tried to be there for people, no matter what happened to her. what really ties everything together is that most of the decisions that catra made in the horde was influenced by adora just like her redemption arc.. her whole life purpose was wanting to be with the person she cared about most and she couldn't have that. she also faced consequences when trying to protect others.. this happened with shadow weaver, horde prime, and hordak. from these experiences, this truly made her think that being vulnerable was a weakness of hers, and in result she couldn’t care for others ethier. she pushed many people away. what she has been taught in the past made her feel more worse because she wanted something else. after season four, all catra ever wanted was to have a connection with people. she had no more time to enjoy herself because of what she was going through. she was even in shock that adora even came back for her..

they love cooking and baking together! it’s an activity that’s super fun and accessible for both of them

even with her claws scorpia can hold the whisk to mix batter, scoop cups of flour, etc. the only time perfuma’s hands are really necessary are for cracking eggs because when scorpia tries to crack them with her claws eggshell gets e v e r y w h e r e

i feel like perfuma is probably vegan or vegetarian and definitely has a big veggie and herb garden in plumeria along with a fruit orchard, so she loves making things with her homegrown food

scorpia definitely has a sweet tooth. i feel like all the ex-horde kids do from eating ration bars all their lives. they try sugar once and are instantly all over it

first time scorpia has a dessert is when perfuma makes her brown sugar cookies and she LOVES them

princess alliance is highly suspicious of eating in plumeria at first given how.... outside the box perfuma is but then they try a bite of perfuma and scorpia’s homemade pizza with fresh bazil and sauce made from tomatoes from their garden and suddenly plumeria is the most requested location in their monthly dinner rotation

perfuma gets really excited (but also a little sad) when she’s introducing new things to scorpia that scorpia never had in the horde

her favorite was going to a fabric store with scorpia and watching scorpia’s eyes bug out at all the print and texture and color, watching scorpia lift the bolts of fabric so so gently to feel the fabric against her face

and then when perfuma goes back to the store later without scorpia and gets the whole bolt of scorpia’s very favorite fabric and makes her a dress out of it for her birthday

perfuma is plenty strong on her own but she loves asking scorpia for help lifting/cutting things because scorpia just comes rushing in like “perfuma? do you need help? what’s wrong? tell me what i need to do and i’ll do it”

scorpia’s claws make pretty good sewing scissors!

they have a hard time finding good snuggling positions that are comfortable for both of them so once they settle into a good one they tend to just want to stay like that for a couple of hours

perfuma loves playing with scorpia’s hair which is a new sensation for scorpia! she styles it too

i think maybe scorpia grows her hair out longer because perfuma likes doing braids and curling it and such so much, and she really likes it too

scorpia also desperately wants to be good at decorating cakes, cookies, cupcakes, etc (the way i hc adora is). scorpia’s always turn out a little sloppy but so so full of love

and just generally, i feel like scorpia and perfuma love hanging out at home and spending time together just cooking together and rambling about their favorite things! i feel like when they first move in together no one sees them for a while because they just wanna hang out together all the time
