So, as you might know from my earlier post, the cancellation of Dead Boy Detectives has greatly upset me (I've spent most of the day crying in all honesty).

I wanted to try and focus my energy elsewhere, and make something that relates to the show that I can hug when I'm feeling down so I crocheted this Edwin Ghost Plushie 👻💜🫂

Details of how I made him for anyone who would like to below:

For the main ghost body, I followed this YouTube tutorial. I used a different white fluffy yarn than the creator states in the tutorial but I think he turned out just fine so yeah 😊👍

For the bowtie, I basically winged it and it turned out okay so I will try and write out what I did.

Start by chaining 3, then in 2nd chain from hook do 1 half double crochet and 2 double crochet, then in next chain do 1 single crochet. Repeat this from where you are to make the other half of the bowtie. After this, wrap both tails around the center of the bowtie until you are happy with the look, then pull one tail through one stitch of your ghost when you want the bowtie to sit, then knot both tails together to secure the bowtie, and push both the loose ends onto your ghost.
