On Friday, I had the opportunity to go to FLUX Artists in Transition, which is the Senior Thesis Art Showcase. Walking around, I observed many talented artists including a friend of mine's, Geffrey Love (his artwork tagged below). Around 6:30, we ventured to the reception hall for a screening of all the student's film and animation projects. My personal favorite was presented by a freshman named Annalise. After the films, the artists held a panel where we got to ask questions and they could speak honestly about their processes and next steps. I was eager to ask for each of their inspirations and reasons for getting into art. As the panel came to a close we got the chance to meet the artists of our favorite pieces. There are many people at this school woth hidden talents and a true eye for the arts.
