fuck yeah time to talk abt my sweet cherry pie sugar cookie gumdrop husband. ok so. me. maxine moriarty-mcdonald. max is mac's cousin cuz his dad is her mom's brother, but tbh they are more like siblings bc they spent soooo much time together as kids. this also means max spent a lot of time with charlie growing up, so they eventually developed a huuuuge crush on him.

max moved to philly from boston when they were like. six. and they were introduced to their cousin mac soon after. mac, then known as ronnie, became max's only friend, so his friends became hers. only issue there is he literally only had one friend -- charlie kelly. max dgaf tho charlie was weird as fuck and liked looking for bugs w her so he was good in their book.

max, mac, and charlie became inseparable all throughout school, and along the way max and char developed crushes on each other. neither of them did anything abt it tho cuz they both assumed the other one knew (Dumb!) then in high school, mac told max how he was like. soooo sure that charlie had a crush on this girl in their history class (aka the waitress) so max was like oh ok! guess i'll walk into oncoming traffic thumbs up emoji!

mac was also the go to guy to buy weed from in high school, which is how the group met dennis. he wanted to popular soooo bad so he ran errands for the Cool kids (aka bought them drugs using his dad's money.) he asked max to homecoming junior year and she was like y'know what? fuck it! charlie doesn’t want me anyway! they started dating, yada yada, they broke up when she moved away for college, etc etc and it was super sad and neither of them rlly got closure for it so they’re kind of awkward around each other nowadays.. i like angst, so sue me!

fast forward like ~12 years or whateva to 2007 and max has moved back to philly. they’re a psychologist now and still madly in love w charlie. after abt a year back, max and charlie FINALLY get together and live happily ever after the end 😁😁🙏

charmax’s relationship dynamic is soooo fun they’re both weird as fuck and are autistic as fuck which is so fierce cuz they sort of speak the same language you know.. they do not have the same social expectations for each other that everyone else does.. anyway char likes max bc she’s the only one (besides my goat frank) who fucks w his bizarre interests and doesn’t make him feel stupid. max likes char cuz he never judges her for being weird and she is fascinated by how his mind works. not to mention they grew up as best friends so they know each other better than anyone UGH i’m a sucker for childhood best friends to lovers..

mac was lowk soooo pissed when they got together he was like CHARLIE BRO.. THAT IS MY SISTER.. YOU ARE BREAKING THE BRO CODE ! but then max was like yo ronnie if char and i get married, ur bff will be like ur brother in law basically.. and mac begrudgingly accepted that reasoning (he repeatedly asks max if charlie is treating them right and gives charlie the ronald “mac” mcdonald signature arched eyebrow glare like >:| whenever the two of them engage in any form of pda.)

anyway i WILL be talking abt them and their dynamics w the gang A LOT i am soooo obsessed.. for rn take these ship charts and memes.. the picrew i use for them is by pepperjackets btw!! ok bye
